The best plan to reduce the building energy consumption is that the insulation performance should be improved because the insulation and airtight of building envelopes have an effect on the energy consumption basically. New insulation materials, which have the high performance and are above insulation standard, have been developed steadily. Because there are not studies on the building energy rating system and economic evaluation considering new insulation materials, these matters should be studied. In result alternatives, which applied 6 high performance material each, reduce the annual heating energy and raise the building energy rating. Applying the vacuum insulation material(Case 1, 2) and vacuum or triple glazing can retrieves the investment with $120 and $140$\sim$150 per barrel each.

In this study, economic feasibility analysis was performed when various hydrogen production and transport technologies were applied to derive hydrogen supply plans by period. The cost of hydrogen may vary depending on several reasons; configuration of the entire cycle supply path from production, storage/transportation, and utilization to the cost that can be supplied to consumers. In this analysis, the hydrogen supply price according to the hydrogen supply route configuration for each period was analyzed for the transportation hydrogen demand in metropolitan area, where the demand for hydrogen is expected to be the highest due to the expansion of hydrogen supply.

Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is one of the most important emerging transboundary diseases. Recently, LSD has emerged in many countries in the northern hemisphere. The LSD virus has a huge genome and is highly resistant to environmental conditions. The virus is also host-specific and large ruminants, such as cattle and domestic water buffalo, are particularly susceptible. In addition, wild ruminants can serve as potential reservoirs for spreading the LSD virus. The emergence might be related to climate change in various regions because LSD is an arthropod-borne infectious disease. This disease causes enormous economic losses, such as leather damage, decreased milk production, abortion, and death in infected ruminants. The economic importance of LSD in the bovine industry has forced countries to develop and implement control strategies against the disease. With the recent global spread and the economic impact, LSD will be discussed intensively. In addition, effective preventive measures are suggested based on the presence or absence of LSD outbreaks.

A sampling plan is presented for situations where sampling inspection is based on the quality characteristic of interest and items in rejected lots are screened based on a correlated variable. A cost model is constructed which involves the costs of misclassification errors, sampling and screening inspections. A method of finding optimal values of sample size, acceptance number and cutoff value on the correlated variable is presented, and numerical studies are given.

The author has analyzed the ecological problems caused by city development and the comprehensive benefits of green space(e.g. ecological, social and economic benefits). The important role of green space in city sustainable development was discussed. Through benefits analysis of green space in city development in Kunming City, the author offered specific measures for green space protection in Kunming: strengthen plant management according to law; enhance nation awareness of plant protection; rationally plan city green land system;and use scientific forms of green land.
