The process of determining whether, when, where and how to intervene, of deciding on optimum allocation of resources and minimizing the cost is a very complex problem: different track sections tend to behave differently under the effects of loading; decision-making processes for maintenance work are closely interrelated technically and economically; decision-making for maintenance plans is based on a large quantity of technical and economic information, extensive knowledge and above all experience. For that reason, It is considered very important to develope objective and computer-aided decision-making support system for track maintenance plan. On this paper, we reviewed ECOTRACK system and present the plan of develope decision-making support system for track maintenance appropriate to local condition.

The aims of this study is to suggest the strategic development plan of Ulsan Port using SWOT/AHP method. In order to do this, 16 detailed factors for SWOT Matrix were identified both from previous studies and from brainstorming professionals of the port and these made into a 3 level hierarchy structure. AHP method identified the relative weight of SWOT level as threat(0.311), opportunity(0.259), strength(0.218) and weakness(0.212), also the composite relative weight of detailed factors as recession of global economy(0.125), strengthening of economic function in port(0.085), insufficiency of port facilities(0.080) and a government regulation of port management(0.075). As a result, the study suggests S/T strategy, W/T strategy, S/O strategy, W/O strategy as a strategic development plan of the Ulsan Port.

Transfer of housing wealth is an extensive social and economic phenomenon different from the traditional processes. The purpose of this study is to examine the experiences, plans, and perception of housing wealth transfers among Korean families. Using questionnaire survey, 700 data from the respondents who residing in Seoul and Kyonggi provinces were collected and analyzed for the research purpose. Only a small portion of the respondents had experiences on housing wealth transfer. Most of the respondents showed that they would have a plan to inherit their housing wealth to their spouse and children after their death or the time when children need help from their parent(s). However, perception of babyboomers who were in their age of 40-50s was different from other age groups. Thus, it is important to consider its implications, especially with respect to changing traditional values on housing wealth transfer.

Chungju city with beautiful natural environments and various cultural resources recently meets the new economic revival caused by opening of Jungbu Naeruk express way and invitation of the enterprise city. Now, the out door lightings come to the major issues to improve Chungju night image and to exploit new scenic spots. this study aims to develop the lighting plan for the jung-won bridge as a representative scenic spot in Chungju city. For the study, the field surveys and computer simulations were performed. As results, the lighting concepts such as entrance and apple images and alternative lighting plans were suggested.

The main purpose of HITES(Highly Integrated Total Energy System) is to build and develop an integrated energy system for power system operational planning and analysis which consists of load forecast, economic generation schedule, stability analysis and relational database system. The HITES can be utilized to supply a stable electric power and operate KEPCO's power system facilities economically. This system was put into operation in 1999. This paper describes the present condition for operation of HITES and proposes the plan to improve this system after installation.

Japan's new local revitalization plan is unique in that the national government has asked local governments to form their own initiatives; and we can expect that there will be various ideas from the perspectives of local residents. However, it is important to note that not all local governments considered the actions of their competitors and neighboring governments. Currently, Japanese industries are so interconnected that we cannot ignore the actions of others. In this paper, we propose a simple indicator that policy makers can use to determine the focus for the local economy.

Electric power utilities are facing increasing uncertainties regarding the economic, political, societal, environmental constraints under they operate and plan their future systems. The utilities have to integrate consumers' interruption cost representing reliability worth of electricity into the process of determining the optimum investment level. In order to do so, the estimated outage cost must be included into quantitative index corresponding to system capital and operation investment cost to establish an optimal expansion plan. This paper is a study on the outage cost assessment by using macro approach for calculating IEAR(Interrupted Energy Assessment Rates) and the TRELSS(Transmission Reliability Evaluation for Large-Scale Systems) program was used to calculate EENS(Expected Energy Not Served).

This paper presents development of the long and mid term power expansion planing for distributed generation. This planing model reflect WADE Economic Model's advantage that special quality of DG(Decentralized Generation) and WASP Model's advantage that special quality of CG(Centralized Generation) each other. Through these synergy, we develop better the Plan of Long and Mid Term Distributed Generation then existent model.

As a result of the policy for enforcing the information technology led by government and the effort of companies to get over economic crisis through the reformation of business process, the ERP market is being active. However, because imported ERP products that are supplied currently are designed for standard and rationality, they have a limit to support custom processes of domestic companies in South Korea. On the contrary, ERP products by domestic companies in South Korea are unable to support a consistent methodology of constructing ERP system. This is main reason why much time and costs are consumed than that of an original plan. To succeed in ERP construction, the purpose of ERP setup must be defined. To accomplish this end, it is required to analysis business process completely and to make a plan in detail. For ERP providers, they must support a characterized ERP construction methodology and lower the construction cost by improving an ERP package easy to customize[5].

Asan city has many strengths, for examples, the distinction of innovation ability, several places with clean environmental resources, conventional-cultural resources and favorable conditions of location in regional agriculture development. But it has not devised the comprehensive development plan for regional agriculture that is integrating natural, cultural and industrial resources. So the plan linked with those resources should be to promoted to develop agricultural production, marketing and regional economy. And a development strategy is to have the system of agricultural independence within Asan. Namely, originality, identity and cooperative spirit in economic and social-cultural aspects of Asan agriculture are needed, which are a great help to settle agricultural issues in Asan itself And the governance system needs to be introduced that has the main bodies of Asan agriculture, so as to promote agricultural policy.
