친환경 고추밭 바랭이와 가는털비름 발생밀도에 따른 고추 수량 반응 (Yield Response of Red Pepper by Densities of D. ciliaris and A. patulus in Eco-firendly Cultivated Field)

  • 2011년 경상북도 농업기술원 영양고추시험장 고추 친환경 재배포장에서 밭 잡초로 가장 문제시 되고 있는 잡초 중 바랭이와 가는털비름을 대상으로 잡초 밀도별 고추와의 경합력을 구명하고 Rectangular hyperbola 모델을 기초로 잡초의 밀도에 따른 건고추 수량 감소를 예측하여 경제적인 방제 필요수준을 구명하였다. 잡초를 완전 방제 했을 경우를 가상한 건고추 수량은 바랭이에서 10a당 304.7 kg으로 가는털비름의 281.3 kg보다 다소 높았으며, 고추와 잡초의 경합력은 바랭이에서 0.063으로 가는털비름의 0.1723 보다 낮았고, 수량 예측식은 바랭이가 y=304.7 kg/(1+0.063x), $R^2$=0.967, 가는털비름이 y=281.3 kg/(1+0.1723x), $R^2$=0.952로 나타났다. 제초제 구입 비용을 10a당 6,500원, 제초제 살포 인건비를 20,000원, 건고추의 가격을 kg당 8,000원, 제초제 방제가 95%로 적용하여 구한 경제적 피해 한계 밀도는 잡초 완전 방제시 수량이 10a당 304.7 kg이고 잡초 1본당 수량 감수 정도가 0.063인 바랭이는 $100m^2$당 18.2본, 잡초 완전 방제시 수량이 281.3 kg이고 잡초 1본 당 수량 감수 정도가 0.1723인 가는털비름은 $100m^2$당 7.2본이었다.

전자빔을 이용한 SF6 처리 공정의 경제성 분석 (Cost Benefit Analysis of SF6 Decomposition Process Using an Electron Beam)

  • This study was performed to investigate whether the decomposition process of $SF_6$ using an electron beam is economically reasonable when applied to the actual field. To do this, electron beam experiment and economic analysis were conducted. The experiment conditions are initial concentration of 1% of $SF_6$, 1 mA of input energy and 15 mA of flow rate with $H_2$ as an additive which were obtained from our previous research. As a result, removal efficiency of $SF_6$ was 90% for 8 hours continuously. In addition, economic analysis shows positive results in terms of using $SF_6$ decomposition process using electron beam. According to the analysis, the revenue is approximately 1.66 billion won in the first year and 3 billion won in the second year.

  • The estimation of lifetimes are examined when the distribution of lifetimes are Weibull. It is assumed that, due to physical restrictions and/or economic requirements, the lifetimes are investigated only at certain time intervals during the test period with 'mixed replacement' experiment, even though it is well known that 'with replacement' experiment produces better accuracy than 'without replacement' one. The maximum likelihood estimators are derived through the iterative method like as Lawless(1982). Also Cramer-Rao lower bounds are found as the asymptotic variances of the estimates.

  • A mixture experiment is a special type of the response surface experiment in which the factors are the components of a mixture, and the response variable is a function of the proportions of each component. When a new mixture product is developed, there are a large number of components, and the first objective of the experiment is to identify the ones that are most important by doing a screening experiment. We propose a method of screening mixture components using the correlation coefficients when t-tests cannot identify significant components.

넙치 배합사료 및 생사료의 경제성 비교분석 (An Economic Feasibility Comparison of the extruded pellets and moist pellet on the Oliver flounder Culture Farms)

  • This study is aimed to analyze the economic feasibility comparison of the extruded pellets and moist pellets on the Oliver flounder culture farms in Jeju Island. In order to do this, we selected 2 farms (M and S farms) in Jeju Island as a sample. In the study, various analyses including productivity analysis, cost structure analysis, profitability and economic feasibility analysis by feed type were conducted for two sample farms of Oliver flounder culture. The results of economic analysis by feed type on the Oliver flounder culture can be summarized as follows; First, there were not significant differences in productivity by feed type. Second, results of the profitability analysis on farm M by feed type showed the profitability was estimated to be 15.52% and 9.83% in EP and MP, respectively. In addition, the profitability of farm S was estimated to be 28.37% and 33.72% in EP and MP, respectively. Third, results of the economic analysis on farm M by feed type indicated that an internal rate of return(IRR) was 8% and 7% and a benefit-cost ratio was shown to be 1.64 and 1.11 in EP and MP, respectively. Furthermore, the economic analysis of farm M by feed type showed that an IRR was 19% and 24% and a benefit-cost ratio was calculated to be 1.4 and 1.51 in EP and MP, respectively. In summary, it is especially emphasized that economic valuation is not related to feed types (EP and MP). Finally, in order to improve the economic feasibility, it should be more focused on the efficient business management of the Oliver flounder aquaculture.

6가크롬 오염토양 정화기술 현장적용성 연구 (Field Applications Study on the Validation of Remediation Technology for Chromium(VI) Contaminated Soil)

  • Currently, the pursuit of industrialization for rapid economic growth has led to serious environmental damage and related problems because of comtamination with chemicals. Over time, this contaminaion is getting worse and worse. Most developing countries have tried to pursue their economic development and growth, however without preparation for the control and disposal of hazardous wastes. Permitting hazardous waste to be abandoned and disposed in appropriately causes soil pollution, groundwater contamination, and surface water contamination, which are all extremely serious. In particular, when hazardous wastes which include toxic chemicals are distributed around the living environment even in small amounts, concentration can occur in the food chain through ecological systems, which can therefore affect human. Chromium(VI) has contaminated soil in China. We experimented to test the immobilization, chemical reduction, and soil washing methods in order to make our experiment efficient in the purification of soil contaminated with Chromium(VI), and to prove the theoretical models by experiments testing the field applications. The field experiment showed that result of experiment satisfied with the standards of China. The result of multi-stage continuous remediation reduce the Chromium(VI) concentration to 11.95 mg/kg and 14.83 mg/kg that were equivalent to 98% and 97% removal rates. This result implied we could apply multi-stage process of Chromium(VI) contaminated soil to meet the regulatory limit of Chromium(VI).

선택실험법을 이용한 산양삼의 경제적 가치평가 (Estimation on Economic Value for Cultivated Wild Ginseng using Choice Experiment)

  • 이 연구는 산양삼의 상품 속성에 대하여 소비자들이 얼마만큼의 가치를 부여하고자 하는지를 파악하고 그것에 대한 경제적 가치를 평가하고 한다. 이를 위해 선택실험기법을 이용하였으며, 선택실험기법에 사용된 속성은 재배연령, 식재방법, 산양삼의 몸통 크기, 산양삼의 수염뿌리 길이, 색채 등과 같이 외관 특징에 기초하였다. 분석을 위해 모집단은 서울을 포함한 수도권에 거주하는 일반시민을 대상으로 하였으며, 조사방법은 설문면접조사로 총 173부의 설문지를 획득하였다. 분석결과, 모형은 안정적인 범위에 속하였으며, 응답자는 직파삼에 대하여 가장 높은 가 치를 부여한 반면 몸통크기에 대해서는 상대적으로 그 가치가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

THE USE OF CASSAVA IN BROILER FEEDING IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC

  • An experiment was conducted to investigate the nutritional and economic effects of complete replacement of maize with sun-dried cassava (SDC) in the diet of broiler chickens raised from one day of age to seven weeks. The complete replacement of maize by SDC resulted in a 10 percent reduction (p<0.05) in final bodyweights (1.91 vs 1.72 kg); and a 5 percent reduction (p>0.05) in average feed intake (4.01 vs 3.81 kg). Feed efficiency was not affected (p > 0.05). Cost per kilogramme of feed was reduced by nearly 30 percent and cost per kilogramme of bodyweight gain lowered by about 26 percent by using SDC diet. Relative profit return after accounting for cost of feed and cost of day old chick was higher by 11 percent on the SDC diet. It was concluded that despite the reduction in final bodyweight, the attractive economic return obtained from using SDC, a locally produced ingredient, may be justified in place of maize which is imported.

강섬유보강숏크리트의 역학적 특성 및 경제성 평가 (Mechanical Properties and Economic Evaluation of Steel Fiber Reinforced Shotcrete)

  • A field experiment was performed to analyze the properties of SFRS(steel fiber reinforced shotcrete) against WMRS(wire mesh reinforced shotcrete) with some experimental parameters. The parameters were reinforcing methods(steel fiber and wire mesh), steel fiber contents(0.5%, 0.75%, and 1.0%), silica fume contents(0.0% and 10.0%), spraying thicknesses of layer(10㎝, 8㎝, and 6㎝), and spraying parts(side wall, shoulder, and crown). According to the analyzed results, the mechanical properties of SFRS such as compressive strength, flexural strength, and load-carrying capacity after cracks were improved. And the economic evaluation was also performed on the basis of the required thickness of the layer and other researcher's results for rebound ratios. From the results of this tests, it is found that the traditional WMRS may be substituted by the SFRS in the viewpoint of the economic evaluation as well as the mechanical properties. In additions, the silica fume, even if it is very expensive, can significantly improve the mechanical properties of the shotcrete regardless of mixing with or without the steel fiber.
