일부 치위생과 학생의 아르바이트 경험이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of part-time employment experience on adaptation to university life in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to find out the effect of part-time employment experience on adaptation to university life in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 288 dental hygiene students in Seoul and Gyeonggido from September to October, 2014. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects(5 items), part-time employment experience(6 items), and adaptation to university life(53 items). The instrument for adaptation to university life was adapted from Baker and Sirky and modified by Kwon. Likert 5 point scale adaptation included personal emotion adaptation, academic adaptation, social adaptation, and university environment adaptation. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was 0.80 in the study. Results: The adaptation to university life was 3.0 points. The higher the economic level was, the higher the personal emotional adaptation(p<0.001) and academic adaptation were(p<0.05). The adaptation to university life was positively influenced by tuition support by parents and part-time employment(p<0.05). The part-time employment was significantly helpful to future job selection, social adaptation, and university environment adaptation(p<0.001). Economic stability and advantage of future job selection had a positive influence on the adaptation to university life. So the adaptation to university life was proportional to younger age, economic stability, and advantage to future job selection. Conclusions: It is very important to give a positive motivation and stimulation, and a careful counseling to the students in part-time employment. In order to encourage the part-time employed students, major-related part-time job opening must be given.

한국형 기후변화대응 분석모형의 경제적 가치 (Economic Valuation of the Korean Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Model)

  • The objective of this research is to quantitatively valuate the economic value of analysis model related to climate change mitigation and adaptation. Due to the fact that the subject of this research, which is the Korean climate change mitigation and adaptation model, has not been actualized, a conjoint analysis applying stated preference data has utilized. As results, among the many attributes considered in this research, the value of the attribute related to reflecting Korea's current situation is analyzed to be largest in both greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation model and climate change adaptation model. Additionally, if all the considered functional aspects are assumed to be feasible, the economic value of the Korean GHG mitigation model is assumed to be 60.3 billion Korean won(KRW) and the Korean climate change adaptation model is assumed to be 51 billion KRW.

  • 본 연구는 기후변화의 영향평가와 경제학적 분석에 관한 국내 외 연구현황을 살펴봄으로써 우리나라의 효율적인 기후변화 적응대책 수립을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 기존연구들이 분석한 기후변화의 경제학적 비용 및 농업, 건강 등과 같은 부문별로 기후변화의 경제학적 분석을 수행하는데 이용된 지표들을 살펴보았다. 분석에 이용된 지표들과 결과들을 비교, 분석하는 데에 있어 국내연구를 중점적으로 살펴봄으로써 국내연구의 현주소와 나아가야 할 방향을 제시한다. 마지막으로 기후변화 적응정책에 대한 연구현황을 통하여 적응정책의 발전과정과 적응방안들을 살펴보고 적응정책의 연구에 대한 방향을 제안하고자 한다.

초등학생의 스트레스요인, 대처방식, 어머니와의 의사소통 및 학교적응 (Stressor, Coping Style, Communication with Mother & School Adaptation in 6th Grade Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the stressors, coping styles, communication with mother, school adaptation and predictors for school adaptation. The subjects of this study consisted of 354 children. They were 6th grade of elementary school in Taegu city. The periods of study was from march 10, to march 18, 2000. Data were analyzed by SAS computer programme. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score for stressor was 39.91 in children(range 24-72). The higher stressor among three subgroups of stressor was mass media stressor. The degree of stressor revealed to be influenced significantly economic status. 2. The most frequently used coping style was problem-oriented coping style(M=18.94) in children. The degree of emotion-oriented coping style revealed to be influenced significantly family's atmosphere 3. The mean score for communication with mother was 72,44 in children(range 20- 100). The degree of communication with mother revealed to be influenced significantly sex, economic status, family' atmosphere. 4. The mean score for school adaptation was 62.48 in children(range 25-100). The higher school adaptation among five subgroup was rule dimension. The degree of school adaptation revealed to be influenced significantly sex, birth, mother's job, economic status, family's atmosphere. 5. School adaptation were positively correlated with communication with mother, problem- oriented coping style(r=0.40 p<0.001) (r=0.30 p<0.001). 6. School adaptation were negatively correlated with emotion-oriented coping style, stressor (r=-0.16 p<0.01)(r=-0.13 p<0.01). 7. Forward multiple regression analysis revealed that the most powerful predictor was the variable communication with mother accounted for 15.25% in school adaptation. All variables accounted for 25.55% in school adaptation. From the above results, it can be concluded that teaching mother about importance of communication, encouraging to use problem-oriented coping style is necessary to improve school adaptation in 6th grade elementary school children

북한이탈주민의 자기효능감이 남한사회문화적응에 미치는 영향: 경제적 적응의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Self-efficacy of North Korean defectors The Influence of the Adaptation to Social and Cultural Adjustment in South Korea: A Study on the Moderating Effect of Economic Adaptation)

  • 본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 자기효능감이 그들의 남한사회문화적응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 인천, 서울, 안산, 원주에 거주하는 북한이탈주민 209명을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 연구결과 북한이탈주민은 남한사회에서 거주기간이 길어질수록, 연령이 낮아질수록 남한사회에 대한 언어나 문화적인 측면에서 이질감이 낮게 나타났다. 반면, 나이나 거주기간이 탈북이주민의 낮은 사회적 지위에 대한 지각, 차별감 및 편견을 극복하는데 사회적응에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 북한이탈주민은 남한에 오랜 기간 거주해도 그들에 대한 차별감이나 편견을 극복하지 못하며 대부분 살아가고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 북한이탈주민이 남한사회에서 사회문화적응에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 요인은 개인의 내적요인인 자기효능감임이 밝혀졌다. 이 자기효능감은 남한사회에서 사회문화적응뿐만 아니라 경제적 적응을 하기 위해 필요한 자신의 능력과 업무에 대한 유능감에 영향을 주어 그들이 사회현장에서 자신감을 가지고 생활하게 하며 이밖에 외부의 다양한 스트레스를 극복해 가면서 나아갈 수 있도록 작용하고 있음이 검증되었다.

미국 대도시지역 산업재구조화에 따른 신이민집단의 사회ㆍ경제적 적응양태의 도시별 다양성에 관한 연구 (Socio-Economic Adaptation of New Immigrant Groups and their Divergence across Large US Metropolitan Areas under Economic Restructuring)

  • 본 연구는 미국의 대도시지역이 경험하고 있는 산업재구조화와 신이민집단의 적응양태를 연계시켜 이해하기 위하여. 로스엔젤레스, 뉴욕. 시카고. 그리고 애틀란타를 선정하고 이들 지역에 거주하는 중남미계와 동양계의 취업분포와 거주양태를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 이들의 산업별 취업분포는 모든 분야에 나타나 대체적으로 전체인구와 유사한 분포를 보이나 제조업, 서비스업 그리고 소매업에서 비교적 높은 집중도를 보이고 있다. 이들의 거주집중지역은 도심 주변과 더불어 외곽 지역에도 나타나고 있다. 이는 기존 유럽계 이민집단이 제조업에 편중적으로 고용되고 도심 주변에 거주지를 집중시키던 적응양식과는 다른 모습을 보이고 있으며,도시별로 다양하게 전개되고 있다. 따라서 신이민집단의 적응양태에 대한 올바른 이해는 정착지역이 경험하고 있는 산업재구조화와 이에 따른 공간상의 변화 그리고 집단 내부의 다양성을 고려한 관점에 기초해야 함을 제시하고 있다.

  • 기후변화로 인해 극한 기후 사상이 야기하는 피해의 빈도와 세기가 증가하고 있다. 사회기반시설물이 기후변화로 인한 위험에 대비되어 있지 않으면 시설물 자체와 그 주변 지역의 자산 손실이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 기존의 기후에 근거하여 설계된 사회기반시설물들에 기후변화 적응기술을 도입하여 미래에 발생할 손실을 낮추어야 한다. 정책 결정자는 적응기술을 도입하기 위해 각 기술의 경제적 파급효과를 이해해야 한다. 기후변화 적응의 경제적 파급효과를 올바르게 이해하려면, 시설물에 직접적인 피해인 1차 피해와 기후 사상으로 인해 주변지역에 미치는 피해인 2차 피해를 모두 파악하여야 한다. 본 논문은 기후변화 적응기술들이 저감하는 1차 및 2차 피해액을 도출하기 위한 방법론을 제시하여, 각 사회기반시설물에 특화된 기후변화 적응기술 가치평가 방법을 제안하였다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 남한으로 이주한 북한이탈주민의 경제적 적응과 심리·사회적 적응 실태를 중심으로 북한이탈 주민의 보호 및 정책지원법의 문제를 분석하고 개선법을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기도 지역에 소재한 북한이탈주민 225명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 북한이탈주민들의 경제적 적응은 대체적으로 낮은 수준이었다. 둘째, 북한이탈주민들의 심리·사회적 적응 상태는 전반적으로 낮은 가운데 문화적응스트레스와 친구관계, 신체 및 정신 건강에 대한 만족도가 특히 낮은 수준이었다. 셋째, 북한이탈주민의 심리문화적 적응전략과 사회적 지지는 삶의 만족도에 유의한 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 적응스트레스는 삶의 만족도에 유의한 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 북한이탈주민의 경제적 적응과 심리적 적응을 증진시킬 수 있는 실질적인 정책적 대안을 제시하였다.

가족식사 및 가족기능이 초기 청소년의 학교적응에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Family Mealtime and Family Functioning on Early Adolescents' School Adaptation)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of family mealtime and family functioning (family cohesion, family adaptability, and communication with father and mother) on early adolescent school adaptation. Data of 3,145 middle school students from the Survey on the Family Values and Lives among Adolescents(2010) conducted by National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI) were used. The findings are as follows. First, there were significant differences in the frequency of having breakfast and dinner with father and having breakfast with mother, family cohesion, and communication with father according to gender. Second, hierarchical linear regression analyses revealed that household economic status, mother's employment status and adolescents' gender among demographic characteristics, having breakfast with father and having dinner with mother in family mealtime frequency, and all the variables of family functioning predicted adolescents' school adaptation. Finally, economic status, having dinner with mother, family cohesion, and communication with father and mother were associated with adolescents' school adaptation for both boys and girls. Mother's education and having breakfast with father were found to be significant for only boys, while mother's employment status and family adaptability were found to be significant for only girls. These findings could provide grounds for making family and education policy.

일부 여자 중학생의 자아개념 및 스트레스와 적응행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Concept, Stress and Adaptation Beharior of Junior School Girls)

  • The recent problems of adolescents are leading us to amphasize school mental health program. Therefore, for the first step of that program, this study was attempted to find out the students' daily life stress, their adaptation beharior to resolve that stress, and their self-concept which has an effect on that beharior, to analyze the relationship among those three variables, and to provide basic data which help maintain and promote students' adaptability and mental health. The subjects were 4 classes each grade, 743 students who were chosen as a sample subject among the total of 3,250 students of a junior girls' school in Seoul by stratified sampling method. The Oquestionnair surrey was done from April 1, 1985 to April 6, 1985. The instruments were (1) a part of Junghoon chois' perceptual Orientation Scale for measuring self-perception of students, (2) Rosenberg's Questionnair for measuring students' evaluation of self-esteem, (3) modified Bell's Adoptive Behavior Questionnair, and (4) the Measuring scale for stress developed by the investigator. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, x²-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearsons' Correlation. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The range of mean score of self-concept, stress, and adaptation beharior is 1-5 respectively. The mean score of self concept was 3.45. The mean score of stress was 2.53, and the degree of stress was in order of the problem of study and grade marks, girl friend, appearance, and relaxation. The subjects preferred effective long-term adaptation method (Mean=2.81) to ineffective short-term adaptation method. (Mean=2.47) 2. The self-concept had the highest degree when students were 1st grade, in good health condition, taking high grade marks, both parents existing, fathers' educational level being above college, and being in high economic status. The degree of stress was significantly high when students were 3rd grade, in poor health condition, having low grade marks, being in poor economic status, and fathers' educational level being under elimentary school. In relation with adaptation method, 1st grade students used more sbort-term and long-term method, and when students had high grade marks, being in high economic status. they used more long-term adaptation behavior. 3. Two Hypotheses of this research were tested: Hypothesis 1. "The higher the students' self-concept is, the more they use long-term adaptation method." was accepted. (r=.2482, p<.01) (t=-4.99, p<.001) Hypothesis 2. "The higher the students' stress is, the more they use short-term adaptation method." was accepted. (r=.2897, p<.01) (t= -7.51, p<.001) In conclusion, a person in charge of school health can help students to adapt effectively by planning and implementing methods which highten their self-concept and lower their stress. But because the correlation among self-concept, stress and adaptation behavior was at a low level, I think that the study, which confirm the relationship of those three variables, is needed.
