근대건축공간의 생태적 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Ecological Design in Modern Architecture space)

  • Ecological traces appearing in contemporary architecture are based on modern architecture and most aspects on the contemporary architecture are related with the successive trend or break of the modern architecture. The concept of environment in the modern age has established clear destination, as it has been considered as nature. The architecture under a mechanical world view in the modem age has sustained the opposing connection with nature as environment. However, there have been architects maintaining the sympathy with nature in that vortex. This trend has been regarded as same context as ecological architecture and estimated to the outpost of ecological characteristics appearing in the contemporary architecture. This study is to make it clear that the ecological manifestation in the contemporary architecture is based on the ecology in the modem architecture through considering ecological ideals of architects in the modern architecture and considering space composition and structural properties in the modern architecture of ecological paradigm. The scope of this study contains spacial analysis, design strategy, and design types of organic architecture in nature, which has appeared from the modern age. First, the division into period is carried out according to the organic tendency of non-mainstream in the modern architecture: Arts and Crafts Movement, Art Nouveau, Sezession, Expressionism, Organic Architecture, Regionalism, Internationalism. Therefore, this study is significant to be on the search for a start to suggest ecological point of view to architectural space in modern architecture and is search organic characteristics for ecological characteristics in modern architecture; organic relation, thermal buffer space, regionalism, multi-layer, energy efficiency.

아파트 실내디자인의 생태적 특성에 관한 연구 - 부산지역 중.대형 평수 아파트 모델하우스 사례분석 - (A Study on Ecological Characteristics of Interior Design for Apartment Building - A Case Analysis of Model Houses for Medium- and large-sized Pyeong Apartments in Busan Area -)

  • This study attempted to analyze the characteristics of interior design of the apartment units of Model-houses in terms of ecological aspects. 9 companies that possessed their model houses among the construction companies in Busan area as of August 2006 were selected. 20 units in the model houses of these companies were visited and analyzed. Through literature review, the guideline for the environmentally-friendly residential design was designed and developed to the checklists. The data collected were analyzed to find out the ecological characteristics of the interior space of apartment units. The findings are the followings. First, energy efficiency was properly considered in terms of natural lighting and natural ventilation. Second, in sustainability, the materials for floors and walls could not be reused even though they were environmentally-friendly. Water system needs more improvement for sustainable development including grey-water and rain recycling system. Third, interior greening should be applied more for better environment both physically and emotionally. It is expected that future housing will be more high-risen and densely-populated apartment spaces. Therefore, an approach to new ecological aspects including an emphasis on interior greening, use of eco-materials and adhesives, water recycling and flexibility of the spatial configuration should be made for the next generation.

  • 현대의 지구환경은 무차별적인 산업화로 인한 공해로 오염되어가고 있다. 또한, 생태계 환경을 고려하지 못한 과밀화된 도시는 인간의 주거환경을 심각하게 위협하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 '환경적으로 건전하고 지속가능한 개발(ESSD)'을 위하여 국내외에서 많은 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 우리의 환경에 적합한 모델의 개발이나 이를 위한 계획요소의 연구가 이루어지지 않는 등 관련체계가 잡혀져 있지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 생태도시와 단지조성을 위한 생태적 계획요소에 대해 전문가 설문을 실시하였다. 많은 이들이 생태적인 개발에 대한 필요성은 인식하고 있지만, 아직 많은 부분에서 현실성이 부족하다는 것이 큰 문제점으로 지적되었다. 한편으로는 환경에 관한 교육과 홍보 및 성공적인 모델과 구축과정의 개발이 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

생태적 개념을 도입한 초등학교 실내공간 디자인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Spatial Design of Elementary School Based on Ecological Approach)

  • This study started from the premise that the future elementary school should be designed based on ecological approach in order to restore the emotionality of children. This study aimed at providing a guideline for designing the interior of elementary schools based on ecological approach. Through literature review, the characteristics of ecological architecture and the regulations for green buildings were explored. Also 7 elementary schools which were evaluated as good school design through renowned books representing the ecological characteristics were chosen and analyzed. The results revealed that the school design included natural lighting by roof lighting, natural ventilation, greening, and use of natural materials. This study suggested three categories as a the guideline for the interior space of eco-school design; energy efficiency, greening and sustainability, which included natural lighting, natural ventilation, heating and cooling, planting, materials and water recycling.

비선형 시계열 하천생태모형 개발과정 중 시간지연단계와 입력변수, 모형 예측성 간 관계평가 (Relationship among Degree of Time-delay, Input Variables, and Model Predictability in the Development Process of Non-linear Ecological Model in a River Ecosystem)

  • In this study, we implemented an experimental approach of ecological model development in order to emphasize the importance of input variable selection with respect to time-delayed arrangement between input and output variables. Time-series modeling requires relevant input variable selection for the prediction of a specific output variable (e.g. density of a species). Inadequate variable utility for input often causes increase of model construction time and low efficiency of developed model when applied to real world representation. Therefore, for future prediction, researchers have to decide number of time-delay (e.g. months, weeks or days; t-n) to predict a certain phenomenon at current time t. We prepared a total of 3,900 equation models produced by Time-Series Optimized Genetic Programming (TSOGP) algorithm, for the prediction of monthly averaged density of a potamic phytoplankton species Stephanodiscus hantzschii, considering future prediction from 0- (no future prediction) to 12-months ahead (interval by 1 month; 300 equations per each month-delay). From the investigation of model structure, input variable selectivity was obviously affected by the time-delay arrangement, and the model predictability was related with the type of input variables. From the results, we can conclude that, although Machine Learning (ML) algorithms which have popularly been used in Ecological Informatics (EI) provide high performance in future prediction of ecological entities, the efficiency of models would be lowered unless relevant input variables are selectively used.

거제한산만 굴양식장의 지속적 이용을 위한 생태지표의 적용 (Application of Ecological Indicator to Sustainable Use of Oyster Culture Grounds in GeojeHansan Bay, Korea)

  • 지금까지 연안 양식장의 지속적인 생산 및 체계적인 관리를 위해 어장환경용량 산정 및 활용에 관하여 많은 연구가 선행되어 왔다. 그러나, 생태학적 부하를 고려한 지속적 적정 생산을 위해서는 4가지 계층구조(물리적 수용능력, 생산 수용능력, 생태학적 수용능력 및 사회적 수용능력)에 의한 어장환경용량 산정 개념을 활용할 수 있다. 생태학적 수용 능력 산정의 경우, 환경과 패류 양식의 상호작용에 관한 좀 더 전체적인 접근이 필요하여 아직까지 모델 개발은 초기 단계에 있으므로, 이에 대한 대안접근으로 패류양식장이 해양생태계의 가능을 어떻게 변화시킬 수 있는지 패류양식장의 생태적 효율을 평가할 수 있는 생태지표의 필요성이 대두되었다. 현재 거제한산만 굴양식장의 정화율 생태지표는 0.331, 여과압 생태지표는 0.203으로 계산되었으며, 이는 연안 생태계에 부하를 주지 않는 생태학적 수용 능력인 0.05를 초과하고 있음을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서는 생태학적 수용 능력의 개념에 근거한 생태지표를 거제한산만에 적용하여, 현재의 굴 양식장의 개발 수준이 어느 정도인지를 평가하여 지속적인 생산과 효과적인 양식어장 관리 지침으로 활용하는 방안을 마련하고자 하였다.

Eco-efficiency Analysis of Urban Agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River

  • Purpose - Urban agglomeration construction is one of national strategic plans to accelerate the development of industrialization and urbanization in China, which has threatened the eco-environmental quality at the same time. This paper selected the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River as the research area. Research design, data, and methodology - The the slack-based measurement (SBM) model considering undesirable outputs is applied to measure the eco-efficiency of this urban agglomerations during 2006-2015. Results - The empirical results show that average eco-efficiency of the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is 0.595. Regional ecological development is unbalanced. The highest eco-efficiency is recorded at Wuhan Metropolitan Area, and the lowest one is at the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Group. Energy consumption and waste dust emissions are the key factors led to ecological inefficiency. Based on this, potentials for energy saving and waste dust reducing are calculated. Conclusions - Finally, this study provides policy implications targeted to promote the coordinating development of economy and eco-environment under the construction of urban agglomeration.

Application of S-HGMS and chemical coupling technology in river water treatment

  • Circulating cooling systems consume a lot of water, and most of the water from river, which contains a large amount of Ca2+, Mg2+, et al, and has the characteristics of high hardness and large turbidity. The water can form scale on the surface of the heat exchanger and the pipes, which would reduce the heat transfer efficiency and affect the heat exchanger's length of service. In this study, the Superconducting High Gradient Magnetic Separation (S-HGMS) technology was used in river water treatment and the effects of agent A, agent B, and S-HGMS on the removal of hardness and turbidity were discussed. The results showed that the hardness removal rate reached 71.3% and the turbidity was decreased to 0.5 NTU.

학교 밖 청소년의 금연시도에 영향을 미치는 사회생태학적 요인 (Effects of the Socio-Ecological Factors for Attempts to Quit-Smoking in Out-of-School Youths)

  • Purpose: The study was undertaken to determine the socio-ecological convergence factors affecting on attempts to quit smoking in out-of-school youths. Methods: The study participants were 187 out-of-school youths enrolled Youth support Centers, collected from November 2018 to February 2019, analyzed through x2test and independent sample t-test, logistic regression analysis. Results: There was a significant differences and associated within daily smoking amounts, age of start smoking, intense physical activity, intake breakfast, smoking cessation self-efficiency, and smoking attitude among socio-ecological characteristics according to attempts of quit-smoking. Conclusion: The results of this study will be provided a basic data for developing The Quit-Smoking Intervention Program for out-of-school youth's health activities.

MOW의 산소-알칼리 첨가 과산화수소 표백 (EoP Bleaching of Mixed Office Wastepaper)

  • To produce the raw material used for printing and writing paper or high quality tissue, MOWs that were consisted of white ledger, colored ledger and old newspaper were bleached with EoP and EoPY(FAS) method, the EoP bleaching process gave the improvement in brightness and a high color removal efficiency. Especially, MOW B(initial brightness: 59.1% ISO) that contained much old newspaper showed the higher bleaching efficiency than those of MOW A(initial brightness: 68.3%). After EoPY(FAS) bleaching, MOW's brightness was increased from 68.3% ISO to 84.3∼84.0% ISO, and from 59.1% ISO to 78.7∼79.2% ISO, respectively. Also the tensile and burst index of bleached pulps decreased by 10∼30%. The tear index slightly decreased or halted at the same range as unbleached pulps.
