This paper discussed community ecological approach for Environmentally Sound and Sustainable Development(ESSD) and Sustainable Society(SS). Community ecology is composed of nature, environment and diverse species and is dynamic and sustainable system by interaction among those components. It is required long-term, integrating and eco-centric stances to achieve ESSD and SS such as eco-city and eco-village movements. This is integrated and complicated perspective beyond traditional dichotomy between human and environment. Community ecological perspective directs people toward ecological society system which creates and maintains adaptable life style under ecological situation in community. Building up eco-parts, eco-cites, eco-villages are crucial movements for promoting human's environmental living standards. These sustainable community movements require people to change their values and life styles suitable for their SS. It is required integrated and balanced perspective and participating endeavor of residents to maintain SS.

This study was aimed at developing and providing textbook writers with information and materials required to introduce forest education ideas and paradigm into primary, middle, and high school students, responding to establishment of the new national curriculum. Research methods included interview with school teachers, literature review on forest education and policy, analysis of writings and drawings of elementary school students. As a primary result, the study produced a framework that can be applied to analyze and understand how people think of and put a value on forest, consisting of 1) Resource-Economic Perspective, 2) Environmental-Ecological Perspective, 3) Cultural-Educational Perspective, and 4) Existential-Ethical Perspective. To test its validity, the developed framework was applied to the processes of reorganizing and interpreting the outcomes of teacher interview and writings and drawings of elementary school students. The results of applications showed that current school education mostly focused on ecological-environmental (about 50%) and cultural-educational (about 30%) perspectives on forest. To improve the quality of current forest education in schools, five main directions including integration, balance, interrelatedness, identity, and systematic approaches were suggested.

It is argued that the strategy practice in the 21st digital organization is limited and constrained in that it is being laregy driven by a traditional positivistic strategic management thinking. This article, drawing upon the models and concepts developed in the field of general ecology, proposes a resilient ecological view of strategy, as an alternative strategy frame of reference for overcoming some of the pitfalls and shortcomings of the current digital strategy practice in the organization. The implications of this new ecological perspective on strategy practice are discussed in detail. The article concludes with discussions and directions for implanting the perspective in the organization.

This study uses theoretical perspectives and models from organizational ecology to examine the dynamics and viability of strategic groups. Integrating the ecological perspective and the contingency theoretical view of strategic management, this study developed propositions demonstrating the impact of environmental density and variation on the effectiveness of strategic groups. Justifications for linking ecological perspectives to strategic management theory are discussed and the importance of the integrative approach to strategic management is highlighted.

This paper reviews the relationships between diverse ecological design strategies and competing conceptions of ecological approach in place making. It focuses conceptual trends of what we categorize a building "green" and outlines a social constructive perspective on the development of sustainable architecture. This study classifies seven logics of ecological design-eco-technical, eco-aesthetical, eco-social, eco-medical, eco-renewable, eco-cultural, eco-central - which have their roots in competing philosophies of environmentalism. In my analysis of the logics concerning sustainable architecture, the adapted and incorporated technology from high-tech to low-tech levels is a key issue. These points lead us to propose a way that each logic configures the technological approaches and alternative visions of sustainable places. This paper discusses the implications of the competent nature of plural ecological design perspectives for architectural education, practice, and researches.

교실생태학은 교과를 지도하는 상황을 하나의 유기체로 파악하는 생태학적 은유를 이용한다. 본 논문에서는 생태학적 관점에서 수학교육의 방향에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 이를 위해 생태학과 교실생태학의 의미에 대하여 알아보고, 교실 생태학적 관점에서 수학 교실의 체계를 설정하였다. 마지막으로 교실생태학적 관점에서 교실 연구의 방향에 대해 알아보았다. 교실생태학적 관점의 수학교육은 수학 수업을 둘러싼 여러 요소들의 상호작용의 총합으로 전체론적-유기체적 관점을 통하여 상생의 관계를 모색하고 지향한다. 또한 교실생태학적 관점에서 수학교육은 학생이 처한 사회의 삶의 맥락을 바탕으로 교실 구성원간의 상호작용에 의한 상생의 추구를 그 목적으로 한다. 교실생태학적 관점에서는 교실 안의 여러 구성 요소들에 대한 미시적 분석과 함께 여러 요소간의 상호 관계 및 교실을 둘러싼 체계에 대한 거시적 분석이 가능하며, 이를 바탕으로 수학 교실을 구성하는 다수의 상호작용 체계와 학생을 포함한 환경의 다양한 측면을 고려한다. 따라서 수학 교실생태학은 역동적이고 다변적인 교실 환경과 그 안에서 일어나는 여러 요소들의 역학적 관계를 고려하고, 수학 수업 개선을 위한 연구의 관점을 제공할 수 있다.

The main goal of this paper is to suggest a new path to new ecological paradigm in social environmental education. The old paradigm of environmental education consists of two elements. The first element is emphasis on the seriousness and urgency of environmental problems while the second one is the presentation of concrete action programs as solutions of environmental problems. The missing point of this paradigm is the internal process of meaning construction of actors. Any kind of social action must be based on the meaning which the actors gives to their own action. Becoming an environmentally conscious actor, therefore, actor himself needs to interpret the world from the new perspective. In this paper, we call the change of worldview in the deepest sense 'conversion'. Ecological conversion means shift from anthropocentrism to ecocentrism. In the following sections, main characteristics of ecological world view are specified and some examples of ecological confessions which reveal ecological world view are presented. In this last section, 7 ways of lifestyle change which can facilitate ecological conversion are suggested: 1) trying to be alone for a while everyday; 2) making peaceful state of mind; 3) sharpening the 'green sensitivity'; 4) creating slow way of life; 5) choosing voluntary simplicity; 6)raising spirituality; 7) practicing sharing and caring. Social environmental education in the new ecological paradigm could be considered as a starting point towards a civilizational shift from the dominant materialist civilization to the post-material ecological civilization.

The purpose of this study was to verify a Structural Equation Model that constructed the causations among the structural leisure constraints, interpersonal leisure constraints, intrapersonal leisure constraints, leisure motivation, leisure activity participation, leisure satisfaction and the quality of life from the ecological perspective. The respondents were 301 elderly people residing in 4 free institutionalized elderly homes in Seoul. The data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis and covariance structure analysis using USREL 8.0 ver. The major results are summarized as follows: 1) Statistically, a goodness of fit is good of structural equation model presented in the study. 2) The structural leisure constraints and the interpersonal leisure constraints are some types of leisure environment of the aged in public homes from the ecological perspective. Such constraints would inevitably lead to a direct effect on individual leisure life and leisure motivation. 3) The important valuable factor which affected the leisure satisfaction and the quality of life in the elderly was the leisure motivation.

This study explored the influence of adolescent depression on adult media addiction by examining Bronfenbrenner's ecological perspective. The ecological perspective is a useful framework to identify the link between youths' interacting subjects in the ecological environment. It can also be used to understand adolescent problems and addiction behaviors. The current study examined the influence of parents, peers, and teachers on adult media addiction and depression with a focus on micro-systems that have the greatest influence on adolescents among various environmental systems. We analyzed 568 participants who reported exposure to adult media. SPSS 20.0 was used to conduct a descriptive analysis of the data; AMOS 19.0 was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. The results of study are as follows. First, parental abuse and peer alienation significantly increases depression. Second, peer communication significantly decreases depression. Third, parental monitoring and parental affection significantly decreased adult media addiction. Fourth, parental abuse, peer alienation, and depression significantly increased adult media addiction. This study is meaningful in that it examines the influence of parent, peer, and teacher relationships among adolescents on adult media addiction and depression. This study can be helpful to understand adult media addiction and depression among Korean adolescents.

The purpose of this research is to analyze big data structure and various objects in big data industry based on ecological perspective. Big data is rapidly emerging as a highly valuable resource to secure competitiveness of enterprise and government. Accordingly, the main issues in big data are to find ways of creating economic value and solving various problems. However big data is not systematically organized, and hard to utilize as it constantly expands to related industry such as telecommunications, finance and manufacturing. Under this circumstance, it is crucial to understand range of big data industry and to which stakeholders are related. The ecological approach is useful to understand comprehensive industry structure. Therefore this study aims at confirming big data structure and finding issues from interaction among objects. Results of this study show main framework of big data ecosystem including relationship among object elements composing of the ecosystem. This study has significance as an initial study on big data ecosystem. The results of the study can be useful guidelines to the government for making systemized big data ecosystem and the entrepreneur who is considering launching big data business.
