함정 근무 장병의 신체활동 관련 요인: 생태학적 접근 (Correlates of Physical Activity among Korean Navy Personnel: An Ecological Approach)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to measure the relationships between ecological factors and Navy personnel's physical activity (PA) based on McLeroy's Ecological model. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted with a convenience sample of 184 Navy personnel working in 10 Navyships. A self-reporting questionnaire consisted of measures of intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational and community factors related to Navy personnel` s PA. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, t-test, analysis of variance, and hierarchical multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 17.0 programs. Results: Their mean PA level was $2,848.1{\pm}3,344.5$ MET-min/week, and mostly moderate level (50.5%). Hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that religion, working department, working type, perceived health status and community environment were significant PA correlates. Conclusion: Community environmental factors as well as intrapersonal factors were significantly associated with Navy personnel's PA, indicating that community health nurses should expand an approach for individual-level behavioral change to incorporate Navy personnel specific community environmental barriers into PA interventions.

  • 본 논문은 한국중소기업학회 40년의 역사적 흐름 속에서 창업생태계 연구 동향을 조명하고, 생산적 창업생태계 조성에 필요한 생태투입·산출요인에 관한 측정지표 개발 방향을 고찰하기 위해 수행되었다. '중소기업연구'의 창업생태계 연구 동향을 살펴본 결과, 선행연구는 생산적 창업생태계 조성과 다양한 생태투입요인에 대한 관리적 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 생태투입요인과 기업가정신으로 대변되는 생태산출요인 간 인과성을 검증하려는 실증연구에 필요한 측정모형 및 변수개발을 다루는 탐색적 연구는 실무·정책적 요구를 충족하지 못하고 있었다. 경험적 사실에 근거하여 창업생태계 성공요건을 규명하는 사례연구의 불균형적 발전은 연구 결과의 일반화와 효과적 실무·정책적 대안을 제안하는 데 한계가 있다. 국가·지역 경제성장을 견인하는 혁신동력으로써 생산적 창업생태계의 조성과 효율적 운영이 중요한 오늘날, 향후 실증연구에서 활용 가능한 생태요인 측정모형의 개발이 절실하다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 [투입→산출→결과→성과] 프로세스를 적용하여, 생태투입·산출요인을 중심으로 창업생태계 측정 모형을 개념화하였다. 우선, 선행연구를 기반으로 생태투입요인(재정적·지식·제도적·사회적 자본)을 체계화하고, 생태산출요인은 설립, 혁신 및 성과기준 기업가정신으로 개념화하여 측정 가능한 변수로 도출하였다. 또한, 향후 실증연구에서 생태투입·산출요인 측정 시 활용 가능한 데이터베이스를 제안하고, 각 데이터의 특성을 검토하였다. 본 연구가 제안한 창업생태계 측정지표는 생태요인 간 인과성을 검증하려는 후속 연구에서 활용 가치가 높을 것으로 기대된다.

사회생태모형에 기초한 보건소 건강증진 프로그램 이용 분석 (Analysis of the utilization of health promotion program in health care centers based on a socio ecological model)

  • Purpose: The research was performed to distinguish the group of users of the health promotion programs in health care center, to identify the characteristics of this group, and to investigate the factors that have influence on the use of the health programs. The specific research purposes are: First, to compare the group which uses the health promotion program of health care center and that which does not. Second, to analyze the factors that have influence on the use of the health promotion program. Method: This study was done from November 15th 2006 and March 30th 2007. The study subjects were Seoul and Provinces. Seoul was divided into 4 areas of eastern western, northern, and southern area. Provinces were Gimchon, Gumi and Sosan. From each area, one health care center was chosen from the ones that wanted to participate. Total number of observations was 994. The survey questionnaire consisted of individual, interpersonal, organizational, community, policy factors based on socio-ecological model. The analysis method was logistic regression. Results: Odds ratios of individual factors is sex(1.39), age(1.05), marriage status(1.71) severity(1.20). Odds ratios of interpersonal factors is use and support of family(1.96), use and support of resource persons like friends and neighbor(4.58). Odds ratios of organizational factors is the comfortness of space(0.74), the satisfaction of health care center facility(1.40), kindness of employ(1.97). Odds ratios of community factors is health care center program recognition(1.70). Odds ratios of policy factors is advertisement(4.69) and expense(1.42). Conclusion: Socio-ecological model of health promotion in health care center is obtained based on five factors and health planners should consider these determinants of health promotion program in health care center and develop intervention methods.

생태학습장 이용객의 지각된 성과에 의한 만족도 연구 (A Study on User Satisfaction by Perceived Performance of Ecological Learning Center)

  • An ecological learning center is defined as a place which can establish the correct relationship between human and environment. Human can learn ecosystem and importance of environment throughout observation of nature and participation in program of ecological learning center. The most important aspects of ecological learning center planning are to reflect on user's demand and preservation of ecosystem. The prime goals of this study is to analyze user's characteristics in the Young Wheol Mulmurigol Ecological Learning Center. The second goal of this study is to find out the satisfaction model based on user's perceived performance of each program and facility in the center. For this study, questionnaire survey with 204 individuals was completed. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed statistical method by SPSS. There are several significant results from the study as following First, this ecological learning center as a newly operating facility is used not for educational purpose but for resting and relaxation purpose. It is due to that the most of users in this center are package tourists with historic scenes. Second, user's perceived performance evaluated by 23 attributions of programs and facilities, and these attributions could be classified by 5 factors such as environment friendly design, educational function, preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top and provision of resting area. Third, the user satisfaction model indicates that user satisfaction is depended on various factors such as preservation of environment, provision of various bio-top, provision of resting area. Among these factor affecting the satisfaction, provision of various bio-top is the most influence on user satisfaction.

경관생태지표를 활용한 생태마을계획 원리 (Principles of Eco-Village Planning Applying Landscape Ecological Indices)

  • The purpose of this study is the practical application of landscape ecological indices to establishment of eco-village planning methodology. Planning an eco-village has to be carried out in the boundary of a small watershed that is defined by homogeneous ecological character. Because the small watershed is a landscape unit it can have unique ecological character. On this viewpoint, the spatial structure is analyzed by the ecological attributes of form, distribution arrangement and composition of the sub-landscape units. Among all of the sub-landscape units, a green tract of land is the main subject of the analyzing entity. Woodland or forest as a green tract of land is a source of biological species and materials. Therefore the ecological attributes of green patches are especially analyzed by landscape ecological indices. The selected landscape ecological indices are elongation, lobes, interior area ratio, convolution of perimeter and proximity of the green patches. These indices represent the state of ecological conditions and they will be the evaluation factors of the landscape ecological planning. These frameworks for landscape ecological planning apply to Obok and Ganggeum villages in Wanju-gun, Korea. A proposed planning was evaluated by the selected landscape ecological indices. Among the selected landscape ecological indices of green patches, perimeter convolution and proximity were increased. It means that the ecological condition of peen paches will be mon sound and green areas of the village will be expanded naturally. In addition to this connectivities among green patches will also be improved.

시가화지역 생태적 유형구분을 위한 관련지표 특성 연구 - 서울시 강동구를 사례로 - (A Study on the Criteria for Demarcating Ecological Types of Urban Areas by the Affection of Ecosystems - Case Study in Gangdong-Gu, Seoul -)

  • 도시의 생태적 유형화에 대한 연구가 다양하게 진행되고 있음에도 불구하고 시가화지역에서 행해지는 생태적 측면의 공간구분은 지금까지 인위적 토지이용 특성에 의존하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 시가화지역을 대상으로 도시생태계 특성을 대표하는 요인들을 조사하여 이들 요인간 상관관계 분석을 통해 도시생태계 특성을 설명할 수 있는 요인을 찾는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 도시를 토지이용유형에 의해 구분한 후 공간별 생태적 속성을 조사하였다. 생태적 속성으로는 에너지 이용측면에서 건폐율과 용적율, 지표면온도를, 물순환 측면에서 생태면적율과 불투수포장율을, 생물다양성 측면에서 야생조류 출현현황과 녹지율을 각각 조사하여 이들의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과 도시 지표면온도는 생태면적율에 의해 온도가 높은 지역과 낮은 지역, 중간인 지역으로 구분되었으며, 야생조류 출현개체수는 녹지율을 기준으로 출현개체가 많은 지역과 적은 지역으로 구분되었다. 이에 시가화지역을 대상으로 한 생태적 측면에서의 유형화는 생태면적율과 녹지율의 적용이 적합한 것으로 판단되었다.

소나무 공간분포의 지형학적 분석 (Topographical Analysis for Spatial Distribution of Pinus densiflora)

  • 본 연구에서는 설악산과 치악산 국립공원에서 소나무 공간분포와 경사, 방위, 고도 등의 지형학적 인자간의 연관성을 분석 하였다. 다양한 격자크기에서 방위에 따른 소나무의 공간분포 분석결과, 100 m 격자크기가 소나무의 공간분포 특성을 설명하기에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 100 m 격자크기에서 지형인자에 따른 소나무 출현빈도는 고도 400~800 m, 경사 $15^{\circ}{\sim}30^{\circ}$, TWI 0~2에서 각각 가장 높게 분석되었으며, 방위에 따른 차이는 크지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 고도의 계급별로 지형인자에 따른 소나무 출현빈도 차이는 고도가 400 m 이하 일 때 지형인자에 따른 소나무 분포특성이 뚜렷하게 나타났다.

An Analysis of Trainers' Perspectives within an Ecological Framework: Factors that Influence Mine Safety Training Processes

  • Background: Satisfactory completion of mine safety training is a prerequisite for being hired and for continued employment in the coal industry. Although training includes content to develop skills in a variety of mineworker competencies, research and recommendations continue to specify that specific limitations in the self-escape portion of training still exist and that mineworkers need to be better prepared to respond to emergencies that could occur in their mine. Ecological models are often used to inform the development of health promotion programs but have not been widely applied to occupational health and safety training programs. Methods: Nine mine safety trainers participated in in-depth semi-structured interviews. A theoretical analysis of the interviews was completed via an ecological lens. Each level of the social ecological model was used to examine factors that could be addressed both during and after mine safety training. Results: The analysis suggests that problems surrounding communication and collaboration, leadership development, and responsibility and accountability at different levels within the mining industry contribute to deficiencies in mineworkers' mastery and maintenance of skills. Conclusion: This study offers a new technique to identify limitations in safety training systems and processes. The analysis suggests that training should be developed and disseminated with consideration of various levels-individual, interpersonal, organizational, and community-to promote skills. If factors identified within and between levels are addressed, it may be easier to sustain mineworker competencies that are established during safety training.

  • Ordination and classification techiques were used to analyze the forest communities and to examine the integration problem of community-to-ecological species group in mt. moak provincial park of korea. phytosociological classiication based on floristic composition produced seven commuities of zelkova serrata, carpinus densiflora. These seven communities were well discriminated in the two-dimensional analyses of soil moisture, soil organic matter content and temperature(elevation), eciprocally, and in three-dimensional space of the three environmental factors also. They corresponded to seven ecological groups derived from the distribution pattern analysis of species populations in this mountain.

  • In general, long-term changes of ecological factors take a pulse form in which they interact with other factors and go through a repeated increasing and decreasing cycle. The coupling of the two approaches the grid model and the box model in ecological modeling can lead to an in-depth understanding of the environment. The study analyzes temporal variations of major storages with an energy system model that formulizes effectively the relationships among nutrients, phytoplankton, and zooplankton in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea. An increase of light intensity and standing stock of nutrient increase the magnitude and frequency of pulsing. Also, an immense reduction of nutrient concentration can cause extinction of the pulsing and bring about a steady state. It is concluded that the nutrient loads in freshwater discharge from the Yangtze affect the cycles of major ecological components as well as water quality variables and play an important role in the marine ecosystem.
