OTT 서비스와 시청 경험에 대한 탐색적 연구 : 티빙(tving)을 중심으로 (Exploring Television Viewing Experience through OTT Service)

  • 본 연구는 가장 일상적인 미디어 행위로 볼 수 있는 텔레비전 시청이 OTT서비스로 인해 어떠한 변화를 맞고 있는지를 탐색하는 것이다. OTT 서비스를 분석하고 이용자들을 관찰하여 기존의 시청행위와 어떤 차이를 갖는지 알아보았다. 연구결과, 즉시적이고 동시적인 소셜시청(social viewing), 정보공유에 의한 채널 잽핑(channel zapping), 멀티시청(multi viewing), 시청 공간의 탈맥락화로 OTT서비스 시청경험 특성을 설명할 수 있었다. 구체적으로 텔레비전 콘텐츠 시청은 가족단위 시청에서 개인화 된 행위로 바뀌었고, 타인과 텍스트와 이미지를 통해 시청과 동시에 이야기를 주고받는 소셜시청(social viewing) 행태가 이른바 '목적형 시청'(lean forward)일 경우 심화됨을 관찰할 수 있었다. 특히 해당 콘텐츠에 대한 내용과 평가를 SNS를 통해 시청자간에 공유하면서 OTT서비스를 실시간으로 이용하는 것이 자연스러운 시청행위가 되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

Exploring Online Learning Profiles of In-service Teachers in a Professional Development Course

  • This study aimed to explore online learning profiles of in-service teachers in South Korea, focusing on video lecture and discussion activities. A total of 269 teachers took an online professional development course for 14 days, using an online learning platform from which web log data were collected. The data showed the frequency of participation and the initial participation time, which was closely related to procrastinating behaviors. A cluster analysis revealed three online learning profiles of in-service teachers: procrastinating (n=42), passive interaction (n=136), and active learning (n=91) clusters. The active learning cluster showed high-level participation in both video lecture and discussion activities from the beginning of the online course, whereas the procrastinating cluster was seldom engaged in learning activities for the first half of the learning period. The passive interaction cluster was actively engaged in watching video lectures from the beginning of the online course but passively participated in discussion activities. As a result, the active learning cluster outperformed the passive interaction cluster in learning achievements. The findings were discussed in regard to how to improve online learning environments through considering online learning profiles of in-service teachers.

Exploring the Influence of Pop-Up Store Experiences on Consumer Word-of-Mouth Intentions: The Mediating Role of Brand Charisma

  • This study explores the evolving landscape of consumer experiences in the context of pop-up stores, considering the shifts from product economy to service economy and now the experience economy. It investigates the factors influencing consumer word-of-mouth intentions by examining the interplay of pop-up store experiences, brand equity, brand charisma, and verbal intent. Using Schmitt's strategic experience modules and the Aaker brand equity model, the study employs quantitative methods and data analysis to uncover the relationships among these variables. Surprisingly, it finds limited associations between the aspects of the pop-up store experience and brand equity. However, it highlights the direct impact of brand equity on brand charisma, which subsequently influences consumers' intentions to share brand-related information. This research contributes to our understanding of word-of-mouth marketing for pop-up stores, filling a knowledge gap and offering valuable insights for academics and businesses navigating the evolving marketing landscape. It also emphasizes the significance of brand charisma in the context of transient in-store experiences and evolving consumer preferences.

서비스직 근로자의 고객응대업무와 프리젠티즘: 상사 지지의 조절효과 (Exploring Interaction between Interactive Services and Presenteeism of Korean Service Workers: The Moderating Effects of Supervisor Support)

  • Purpose: This study delves into the relationship between interactive services and presenteeism among Korean service workers, aiming to discern the moderating effects of supervisor support on the relationship. Methods: Utilizing secondary data from the sixth Korean Working Conditions Survey, involving 7,628 service workers, this study conducted logistic moderated regression analysis to scrutinize the moderating effects of supervisor support on the relationship between interactive services and presenteeism. Results: Approximately 10% of workers experienced presenteeism in the previous 12 months. Females, low-educated, elderly, those working long hours, and low-wage workers were more likely to perceive presenteeism. Notably, a statistically significant U-shaped curvilinear relationship was observed between interactive service duration and presenteeism. The results also underscore the moderating role of supervisory support in shaping the relationship between interactive services and presenteeism. Conclusion: The study highlights the significance of supervisor interest and support in promoting workers' health, thereby not only improving the wellbeing of individual workers but also fostering organizational productivity by reducing presenteeism.

신도시 신규위탁 국공립어린이집의 개원과정 탐색: 세종시를 중심으로 (Exploring the Opening Process of New Entrusted Public Daycare Centers: Focusing on Sejong City)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to suggest institutional improvements and support measures for the opening process of new entrusted public daycare centers by exploring the experiences of the directors of daycare centers. Methods: In-depth interviews were held with nine directors of daycare centers in Sejong City. The recordings of the interviews were databased, and then the data were analyzed by categorizing the content. Results: First, the participants of this study were interested in the national/public daycare service consignment program and were eager to be selected for the program. They also had high expectations for operating daycare centers. Second, while preparing for the opening of the daycare center, the participants encountered problems after being selected for the program in terms of finance, facilities, equipment, and personnel management. Third, after opening the center, the participants went through the "survival period" as they had to overcome many issues while operating the center on their own. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggested financial and administrative improvements and support measures required for the consignment program so that daycare center directors can successfully and sustainably open and operate daycare centers.

커뮤니티케어 개선을 위한 주요 요인 탐색과 방안 연구 : 경상남도 사례 중심으로 (A Study on Exploring the Main Factors and Methods to Improve Community Care : Focusing on the Case of GyeongSangNam-Do)

  • Objectives: The goals of this study are to exploring critical factors and methods to improve Korean Community Care through the cases of GyeongsangNamdo. Methods: For this study, we performed in-depth interviews with 90 people involved in Community Care services of 6 regions, and the collected data were analyzed. The collected data were analyzed utilizing NVivo12. In the end, we reconfirmed the process through Topic Modeling analysis. Results: We conducted descriptive statistics and qualitative data analysis collected through surveys and in-depth interviews. In the case of qualitative analysis, we extracted principle codes (Need, Lack, Absence), and sorted the contents into sub-categories. The response rate of 'Need to strengthen capabilities' was the highest, 'Need to communicate and share information' was the second, and 'Need for integrated operation and a control tower' was the third. Conclusion: As a result, we find the critical factors to improve Community Care. Based on them, we should conduct follow-up researches to propose concrete methods to apply to diverse regions.

지식활동이 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 지식창출 활동과 지식공유 활동을 중심으로 (The Effect of Knowledge Activity on Organizational Performance: Focused on Knowledge Creation Activity and Knowledge Sharing Activity)

  • This study aims at exploring the relationships between knowledge activity, knowledge activity performance, and organizational performance. By adopting the balanced scorecard perspective, organizational performance was measured by product/service, customer and internal performances. Using data collected from the 36 Korean firms, this study found that knowledge creation activity was positively and significantly related to the organizational performance such as product/service performance, customer performance and internal performance. We also found that knowledge activity performance such as knowledge quality and user knowledge satisfaction mediated the positive relationship between knowledge sharing activity and internal performance.

Exploring the Effect of Overload on the Discontinuous Intention of SNS: The Moderating Effect of Gender

  • With the proliferation of smartphones and 5G networks, mobile social network service (SNS) has become an indispensable part of people's daily lives. However, with the use of SNS, fatigue and withdrawal behavior gradually emerged. Based on The Transactional Theory of Stress and Coping (TTSC), we explored the mechanism of SNS overload on users' discontinuous intention under the framework of "stressor-strain-outcome". And we also investigated the moderating effects of gender in this process. We hope that through our research, we can help SNS users to reduce unnecessary fatigue, and provide better suggestions for platform designers to adjust product design to improve user experience.

실제 수업 및 학습공동체 참여 과정에서 나타난 초등 예비교사의 주목하기 변화 분석 (Analyzing the changes of elementary pre-service teacher's noticing occurred in the process of participating in the actual class and learning community)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실제 수업 및 수업 전후 진행된 학습공동체 회의에 참여하는 과정에서 나타나는 초등 예비교사의 주목하기 특징의 변화를 분석하여, 초등 예비교사 교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 연구 참여자인 초등 예비교사와 연구진들로 구성된 학습공동체를 구성하였다. 분석 자료로 초등 예비교사의 실제 수업과 학습공동체 사전, 사후회의 과정 전체에 대한 녹화 및 녹음 자료와 이들에 대한 전사 자료, 초등 예비교사의 반성일지와 사후 인터뷰, 연구자의 관찰일지, 학생의 학습지 등이 수집되었으며, 분석 방법으로 해석적 사례연구가 수행되었다. 연구 결과, 초등 예비교사의 주목하기의 특징이 주의 기울이기, 해석하기, 반응 결정하기의 각 요소에서 다음과 같이 변화하였으며, 이와 같은 변화에 학습공동체가 기여하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 초등 예비교사의 주의 기울이기 대상이 과제 결과물에서 학생의 통계적 사고로 변화하였다. 둘째, 초등 예비교사의 해석하기가 구체적인 근거가 부족한 상태에서 근거의 다양성과 구체성이 갖추어진 상태로 변화하였다. 셋째, 초등 예비교사의 반응 결정하기가 생산적이지 못한 반응 결정하기에서 생산적인 반응 결정하기로 변화하였다.

FGI분석을 통한 소셜 큐레이션 서비스의 교육적 활용 가능성 탐색 (Exploring the Possibilities of Educational Use of Social Curation Service Using the FGI Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 관심사형이라고 불리우는 3세대 SNS인 소셜 큐레이션 서비스에 대해 교육적 활용 가능성을 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 9명의 대학생을 선정하여 약 50일간 소셜 큐레이션 서비스를 사용하게 한 후 Focus Group Interview(이하 FGI)를 실시하여 그 답변을 분석하였다. 자료 분석을 위해서는 NVivo 10 프로그램이 사용되었다. 분석 결과 소셜 큐레이션 서비스는 다양한 정보 수집, 나만의 카테고리 생성을 통한 분류 및 정리, 관심사에 대한 지속적 업데이트 가능, 기존 SNS에 비해 상대적 박탈감 감소가 장점으로 도출되었다. 보완 및 개선 사항으로는 한국어 콘텐츠 부족, 서비스의 단조로움이 제시되었는데 이를 해결하기 위해선 지속적 홍보가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 교육적 활용 측면에서는 개인, 팀별로 구분하여 개인은 자발적 정보 검색 및 활용, 나만의 자료 구성 가능, 자기주도적 학습 촉진이 가능하며, 팀별로는 공유를 통한 토론 활동, 발표 활동 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
