The aim of this study is to determine the Toxocara seropositive rate among healthy people with eosinophilia. A total of 97 people residing in Seoul who were healthy and whose blood eosinophilia was over 10%, as shown by regular health check-ups in 2004, were subjected to this study. Their sera were tested by immunoblotting and ELISA with the antigen of larval Toxocara canis excretory-secretory (ES) protein. Sixty-five sera were band-positive (67.0%). The seropositve control sera were positive to band sizes of 66 kDa, 56 kDa, 32 kDa, and 13 kDa. In ELISA, 63 sera (65.0%) were positive to T. canis ES protein. There was no significant correlation between the IgG ELISA titer and the level of eosinophilia (r = 0.156, P = 0.156). As there were insufficient data to determine whether there were cross-reactions with other helminthic infections, or whether atopy occurred, further studies are required to verify the cause of the seropositive reactions against T. canis ES antigen. Toxocariasis seropositivity is suggested to be the major cause of eosinophilia, since the Toxocara seroprevalence among Korean rural adults was shown to be approximately 5%.

Molecular chaperones prevent the misfolding of newly synthesized polypeptides in the cell. The coexpression of molecular chaperones could be expected to improve the production of soluble and active recombinant proteins. In this study, the effect of coexpression of E. coli GroEL/ES chaperone on the active production of Bacillus macerans cyclodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase) in E. coli was investigated. Two plasmids, pTCGT1 and pGro7 in which the cgt and the groEL/ES genes are under the control of 77 promoter and araB promoter, respectively, were co-transformed into E. coli. With a series of cultures of recombinant E. coli cells, the optimal concentrations of IPTG and L-arabinose were found be 1 mM and 0.3 mg/$m\ell$, respectively. When IPTG and L-arabinose were added at 0.8~1.0 $OD_{600}$ and 0.4~0.5 $OD_{600}$, active CGTase production was increased significantly. This coexpression condition resulted in 1.5-fold increased level of soluble CGTase (0.7~0.73 unit/$m\ell$), compared to the level of CGTase in the single expression (0.36~0.56 unit/$m\ell$). An SDS-PACE analysis revealed that about 33.6% of CGTase in the total CGTase protein was found in the soluble fraction by coexpression of GroEL/ES chaperone.

In this paper, the Augmented graph Es(τ) of the inverse graph Gs(τ) of a cyclic group (τ,◦) was studied. The Augmented inverse graph was constructed by applying the method of Mycielski's construction. The dimension of Augmented inverse graph and different properties of the graph were investigated. Later the chromatic number of Augmented inverse graph was discussed and the relation between the maximum degree of the graph and the chromatic number was established. In the Mycielski's construction, the properties of the key node 'u' in Es (τ) were established based on cardinality of the cyclic group (τ,◦) and also proved that the Augmented inverse graph Es(τ) was a triangle free graph.

Viele medizinische Ma$\ss$snahmen erfordern ein Zusammenwirken verschiedener $\ddot{A}$Arzte. In der arbeitsteiligen Medizin wird deutlich zwischen vertikaler und horizontaler Arbeitsteilung unterschieden. Mit dem Begriff vertikaler Arbeitsteilung geht es darum, ob ein Arzt einem anderen Weisungen erteilen kann oder nicht. Bei der Horizontalen Arbeitsteilung handelt es sich um selbst$\ddot{a}$andig t$\ddot{a}$atige Mediziner, in gleichen oder aneinander sto$\ss$senden Gebieten, bei denen man sich auf die Angaben oder die T$\ddot{a}$atigkeiten des anderen verlassen kann. Die wirkliche arbeitsteilige Medizin wird horizontal geleistet. In der arbeitsteiligen Medizin, insbesondere in der mehr und mehr spezialisierten Medizin, ist ein gewisser Grad des Vertrauens notwendig, schon aus Zeitgr$\ddot{u}$unden. Die Wiederholung aller m$\ddot{o}$oglichen diagnostischen, aber auch pr$\ddot{a}$aoperativen Untersuchungen, w$\ddot{a}$are zeitaufwendig und kostenreich. Es gibt aber auch Verh$\ddot{a}$altnisse, in denen die Kontrolle oder sogar die Wiederholung dieser Tests notwendig ist. Dann ist, insbesondere wenn sie in einer gewissen Zeitfolge t$\ddot{a}$atig werden, die Problematik des Vertrauens und Misstrauens angesprochen. Der Arzt, der von einem anderen Arzt in herk$\ddot{o}$ommlicher Weise Mitteilungen bekommt oder jedenfalls erwarten kann, darf sich grunds$\ddot{a}$atzlich auf den Vertrauensgrundsatz berufen. Das gilt insbesondere, wenn der mitteilende Arzt in einer personell und apparativ $\ddot{u}$uberlegen ausgestatteten Klinik t$\ddot{a}$atig ist. Wenn sich allerdings Zweifel an der Richtigkeit der Mitteilung aufdr$\ddot{a}$angen, etwa zahlreiche Nachl$\ddot{a}$ssigkeiten vorgekommen sind, ist f$\ddot{u}$r Vertauen kein Platz.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to confirm the effect of exercise combined with scapular stabilizing on resting scapular position (RSP) in breast cancer-related lymphedema patients. METHODS: A total of 20 patients with lymphedema after mastectomy participated in the study. All assessments of the patients edema sides (ES) and non-edema sides (NES) were evaluated. The assessment tools used wad RSP. RSP are; 1) scapular index, 2) 8th thoracic spines process (T8S) to inferior angle of scapular (IA) distance, 3) standing pectoralis minor (PM) distance, and 4) PM index (PMI). All patients carried out a scapular stabilizing exercise seven times a week for 8 weeks. The collected data were analyzed with PASW 18.0. The statistical significance (${\alpha}$) was 0.05. RESULTS: According to the results, all the variable between the ES and NES for RSP were statistically significant (p<0.05) in the pre-test. After the exercise, the differences in T8S to IA distance and the PMI between the ES and NES weren't statistically significant. The results of the RSP showed a significant improvement in T8S to IA distance, standing PM distance, and PMI. CONCLUSION: The results of this study showed that, performing the scapular stabilizing exercise had a significant effect on improving RPS in breast cancer-related lymphedema patients.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of an early post-mortem low voltage electrical stimulation (ES) to localized part of carcasses [m. longissimus lumborum (LL) and m. biceps femoris (BF)] and determined the tenderness and flavor compounds of Hanwoo steers (n=16). Carcasses were stimulated within 30 min post-mortem for 60s using 60 volts and muscles aged 2 and 14 d. Degradation of Troponin-T were accelerated by ES and degraded little faster in BF muscle than LL. Level of free amino acid content of stimulated and aged muscles was significantly (p<0.05) greater than control for both muscles. Totally 63 volatile compounds were identified by using SPME-GC. The ES treatment significantly (p<0.05) affected the level of 20 volatile compounds of LL as well 15 volatiles in BF muscle along with total amounts of ketones, sulfur containing, pyrazines and furans. Low voltage ES could be applied to reduce the aging time and improve volatile flavor development by increasing important desirable volatile compounds such as 2-methylpyrazine, 2,5-dimethylpyrazines and 2-acetylthiazole etc. due to released free amino acids from protein degradation.

Die vorliegende Untersuchung zielt darauf ab, erstens die Entstehung der $Fr{\ddot{u}}hromantik$ in Bezug auf damalige Kantkritik zu betrachten, zweites Jacobis Gedanke, der die Bewegung der $Fr{\ddot{u}}hromantik$ $ansto{\ss}t$, mittels seines Zentralbegriffs "Unbedingtes" und "$Gef{\ddot{u}}hls$" zu rekonstruieren und drittens den Kerngedanke der $Fr{\ddot{u}}hromantik$, der die unendliche $Ann{\ddot{a}}herung$ betont, durch Novalis zu $erl{\ddot{a}}utern$. $F{\ddot{u}}r$ Jacobi wird das Unbedingte als "Glaube" angesehen, weil es nicht nur der $M{\ddot{o}}glichkeitsgrund$ des Wissens ist, sondern die Vermittlung des Wissens ${\ddot{u}}berschreitet$. $W{\ddot{a}}hrend$ es die Bedingung des Wissens ist, ist es das "Sein", das den Bereich des $Bewu{\ss}tseins$ transzendiert. Somit Jacobis "Unbedingte" bzw. "Ur-Sein" ist nicht nur die Grundlage des metaphysischen Monismus, sondern die realistische Substrat, die auf den Bereich des Wissens nie reduziert wird. $F{\ddot{u}}r$ Novalis wird das Unbeclingte dem $Bewu{\ss}tsein$ nicht gegeben, vielmehr ist es der Gegenstand der Sehnsucht und des Strebens. Hier wird die Philosophie als unendliche $Ann{\ddot{a}}herung$ zum Unbedingten bestimmt. Philosophie ist sowohl die $urspr{\ddot{u}}ngliche$ $T{\ddot{a}}tigkeit$ des mit dem Transzendeten $ber{\ddot{u}}hrenden$ $Gef{\ddot{u}}hls$ als der unendliche Trieb, der den Grund zu erkennen versucht.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of stabilization exercise and breathing exercise on the flexion relaxation phenomenon (FRP) and respiratory parameters in patients with chronic low back pain. Methods : We randomly allocated 30 chronic low back pain patients (CLBP) to a stabilization exercise (SE) group (n=15) and a breathing exercise (BE) group (n=15). FRP was measured using surface electromyography (SEMG). Thoracic excursion was measured with a cloth tape measurement technique. The SE group participated in a stabilization exercise program and the BE group participated in a breathing exercise program three times a week for 12 weeks. The data was analyzed using paired t-tests for comparisons of flexion relaxation ratio (FRR) and respiratory variables. Independent t-tests were used for comparison of inter-group FRR and respiratory variables. The significance level was set at .05. Results : FRP variables-ES FRR (Flex/MVF), ES FRR (Ext/MVF), MF FRR (Flex/MVF), and MF FRR (Ext/MVF) values-increased significantly after exercise in both the SE and BE groups (p<.05). The thoracic excursion measurements after exercise increased significantly in both groups (p<.001). VAS values decreased significantly in both groups (p<.001). There were no significant differences between the two groups in FRP variables-ES FRR (Flex/MVF), ES FRR (Ext/MVF), MF FRR (Flex/MVF), and MF FRR (Ext/MVF)-or VAS values after exercise (p>.05). For thoracic excursion after exercise, the BE group was significantly higher than the SE group (p<.001). Conclusion : We found that FRP and respiratory variables increased significantly after SE and BE for 12 weeks in CLBP. Thoracic excursion-a respiratory variable-suggests that treatment was more effective in the BE group than the SE group.

Das Forschungsziel dieser Untersuchung ist es, den linguistischen Begriff der Analogie zu definieren, und die auftretenden analogischen Ausgleichsprozesse vom Mittelhochdeutschen zum Neuhochdeutschen und auch im Neuhochdeutschen selbst insbesondere im System der starken Verben vorzuzeigen und zu $erkl\"{a}ren$. Und diese Forschungsergebnisse sind wie folgt. $Au{\ss}er$ dem Phonemwandel, der immer das Phonemsystem tangiert, gibt es M$Lautver\"{a}nderungen$, die auf assoziativer Ubertragung von Lautungen aus konkurrierenden sprachlichen Formen beruhen, die sog. Analogiebildungen. $N\"{a}mlich$ in der sprachlichen Entwicklung vom Mittelhochdeutschen zum Neuhochdeutschen zeigt sich eine sehr starke innere Tendenz der Sprache, diese durch $gesetzm\"{a}{\ss}igen$ Lautwandel entstandene Formenvielfalt innerhalb eines Paradigmas zu vereinheitlichen. Das $hei{\ss}t$; Analogischer Ausgleich ist als universaller sprachlicher Simplifizierungsprozess zu werten. The relationships between various nitrogen efficiencies among 57 rice cultivars grouped into three developmental categories were investigated by simple correlation with (12kg/10a) and without nitrogen fertilizer under the field condition. The relationship showed similar in a group or among all varieties of three groups. Yield among varieties showed highly significant correlation with Fe (fertilization efficiency: yield increment/nitrogen applied), E (nitrogen efficiency for yield), Ef(efficiency of nitrogen derived from fertilizer) and Eu (fertilizer use efficiency: nitrogen derived from fertilizer divided by total nitrogen applied). The E was correlated significantly and positively with harvest index (HI), percent translocation (T) of nitrogen to ear and negatively with nitrogen uptake amount (N), nitrogen concentration in grain (GN%) and in straw (SN%). The E depends almost on Ef and only inTongil group partly on Es (efficiency of nitrogen derived from soil). The Ef contributes to Fe more than Eu does (Fe = $Ef{\cdot}Eu$). It appears that Ef and Eu increased from the old group to the recommended local varieties, but only EF and Es increased markedly when rice was developed from recommended local group to Tongil line ($indica{\times}japonica$ hybrid selction). The fact that E and Fe depend more on Ef among rice varieties is very good contrast to the result that E and Fe depend more on Es and Eu respectively among soils in the previous investigatigation. The Ef appears as the most important parameter for rice varietal selection under fertilizer application system.
