  • A major problem in the adoption of advanced manufacturing systems such as C.I.M. (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) is the prerequisite economic justification Process because of high investment needed for the acquisition and installation of C.I.M. While some of the benefits expected are readily qualifiable, others are very difficult or even impossible, using conventional method. Thus the investment in C.I.M. should be considered as a strategic decision rather than a tactical decision which concerns with only financial implications. In this Paper we review papers on major justification techniques developed during the last decade and identify the benefits of C.I.M. and describe the considerations in the justification of C.I.M. Also we deal with the current and future research directions in justifying C.I.M.

The Prediction of Field Strength for DTV Receiver in the VHF and UHF Bands (VHF 및 UHF 대역의 DTV 수신기 전계강도 예측)

  • In this paper, we propose the methodology of prediction of field strength for a digital television (DTV) receiver by virtue of Recommendation ITU-R P.1546. The curves shown in this recommendation represent the point-to area field strength for 1.0 kW effective radiated power in the 30 MHz ~ 3000 MHz. Based upon the procedures described in this Recommendation, computation results are presented here from the derived formulation of field strength for DTV receiver. To show the validity of this method, some results are compared with the analysis by Okumura-Hata model and it was shown that the error of field strength is in the range of 6.9 ~ 11.5 %. The presented method provides not only the predicted values of field strength for DTV receiving area to check the quality of transmitted signal, but also an appropriate site selection for obtaining good propagation environment. In addition, it can be directly used for analyzing the protection ratio or separated distance for frequency sharing in the same band.

  • This study is concerned with the introduction and operation of smart factories. In order to accomplish the purpose of research, we made a standard system of smart factory and investigated the recognition system. This study was conducted as a grounded theory methodology among qualitative research methodologies. The results of the study are the necessity of a tool to appropriately evaluate the new manufacturing process management system and related management activities to achieve the successful introduction of smart factories and the management performance of the organization. In order to successfully implement the Smart Factory Certification System, it is necessary to establish a certification organization system, enact relevant laws and amendments, operate government-led pilot projects, train professional workers, and establish incentive policies.

  • Mobile-Office is the IT office that enables people handle their business anywhere and anytime without going to head office. It has propagated rapidly in domestic and foreign companies as the users who use mobile terminal such as smartphone have increased sharply. Mobile-Office is emerging as a new way of conducting business. It requires business environment to be changed to improve business efficiency, as fast-growing mobile-based economies emerges. Small and medium-sized companies's utilization ability for advanced IT technology is insufficient, and limitations exist on capacity of building and investment. They need different development methodologies and utilization methods. The purpose of this study is not only to consider the previous business environment problem on accessibility, mobility, effectiveness, complexity and consolidation, but to search more efficient methods for introducing applications to utilize various smart devices and websites with minimum investment in R&D.

Analysis of Operation System Establishment Cases for Efficient use of Risk Assessment at Construction Sites - H Focusing on Construction Company Cases (건설현장의 위험성평가 효율적 활용을 위한 운영 시스템 구축사례 분석 - H 건설사 사례중심으로)

  • Purpose: Through the establishment of a computerized system of risk assessment, the purpose is to analyze the case of whether the co-workers who are subject to the risk assessment at the construction site can easily fill it out and expect disaster reduction through efficient risk assessment activities. Method: By providing the risk factors and safety measures for the work by selecting the type of work, the risk estimation and the establishment of countermeasures can be made, and a system has been established to enable practical disaster prevention activities by presenting disaster cases for the work. Result: Through the analysis of the change in the scaled disaster rate for the years following the on-site application after the establishment of the risk assessment computer system of H Construction Company, it was confirmed that the scaled disaster rate of the domestic construction industry increased, while the conversion disaster rate of H Construction Company decreased. Conclusion: Through the computational systemization of risk assessments, workers in the field can easily access the risk assessment, evaluate the risk factors of the process and establish risk prevention measures, and it has been analyzed that there is an impact on the reduction of the disaster rate during the operational analysis period.

제조기업 현장 데이터를 이용한 빅데이터 분석시스템 모델

  • 오늘날 BI(Business Intelligence)시스템 다차원 데이터를 다루는 많은 방법들이 제안되어 TB 이상의 데이터를 다룰 수 있다. 하지만 IT 전문가 및 IT에 대한 투자여력이 충분하지 않은 중소 제조 기업들은 발 맞춰가기 힘들다. 또한 생산관리시스템(MES)을 미 도입한 기업이 대다수이고, 존재하는 현장데이터의 대부분도 수기데이터 또는 Excel 데이터로 보관 되어 있어, 수작업에 의한 데이터 분석과 의사결정을 수행한다. 이로 인해, 불량 요인 파악이나 이상 현상 파악이 불분명하기 때문에 데이터 분석에 어려움을 겪는다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소제조기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 제조 기업현장에서 사용되는 데이터를 자동으로 수집하여 정제 및 처리하여 저장이 가능하도록 하는 빅 데이터 분석 시스템 모델을 개발하였다. 이 분석 시스템 모델은 ERP, MIS 등에 존재하는 데이터들이 각 시스템의 DB 기능을 활용하여 데이터를 추출하고 정제하여 수집하는 ETL(Extract Transform Loading)과정을 통한다. 현장에서 비정형으로 기록되고 있는 정보들(ex. Excel)은 ODE(Office Data Excavation)모듈을 통해 문서의 패턴을 자동으로 인식하고 정형화된 정보로서 추출, 정제되어 수집된다. 저장된 데이터는 오픈소스 데이터 시각화 라이브러리인 D3.js를 이용하여 다양한 chart들을 통한 강력한 시각효과를 제공함으로써, 정보간의 연관 관계 및 다차원 분석의 기반을 마련하여 의사결정체계를 효과적으로 지원한다. 또한, 높은 가격에 형성되어 있는 빅데이터 솔루션을 대신해 오픈소스 Spago BI를 이용하여 경제적인 빅 데이터 솔루션을 제공한다. 본 연구의 기대효과로는 첫째, 현장 데이터 중심의 효과적인 의사결정 기반을 마련할 수 있다. 둘째, 통합 데이터 기반의 연관/다차원 분석으로 경영 효율성이 향상된다. 마지막으로, 중소 제조기업 환경에 적합한 분석 시스템을 구축함으로써 경쟁력과 생산력을 강화한다.
