조선 초·중기 출토 허리끈의 유형과 구조 - 여산 송씨 출토 허리끈을 중심으로 - (The Type and Structure of Men's Belt in Early-Middle of Chosun Era)

  • This was written based on the type and structure of korean man's waist belt in the early and middle era of the Chosun era. The waist belt was excavated from the Mokdaldong in the Daejeon city. The types of korean man's waist belt in the Chosun era were classified into Wondahae (i.e., round shape belt) and Gwangdahae. The Wondahae consist of two types which are circle shaped and straight types. The circle shaped wondahae contain one fringe in the main body of the belt and its joint part is decorated with a small network such as lacing decoration with the size about 1 cm around. The shape of the Wondahae has been changed from the circle shaped into the straight types and also has a tendency to be wider and longer as time went by. The standard form of the Gwangdahae is straight with about 2-3 cm width and elaborated by lacelike fringe as well. This also has a tendency to be wider starting from the 1600s show. The structure of this belts were divided into braid and ornament parts. The ornament part was constructed with the lacelike netting and fringe parts. The sophisticated craft techniques have a great decorative beauty. Through an analysis of FT-IR, the materials of those three belt are known which are made of the silk and the core thread was filled with cotton. Moreover, it can be confirmed that the glitter material of the ornament part were designed with gold foil and has been analyzed with SEM-EDX.

자율주행시대에 통근시간 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인분석 (Analysis of Factors Affecting Satisfaction with Commuting Time in the Era of Autonomous Driving)

  • 자율주행시대가 우리 삶에 다가오면서 삶의 변화에 많은 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상된다. 자율주행자동차가 등장하면 운전자의 부담을 줄임으로 차내에서 생산적 가치가 확장되는 만큼 이를 평가할 수 있는 지표개발이 필요하다. 이번 연구는 경기도 직장인 중 승용차를 이용하는 통근자를 대상으로 자율주행 자동차가 통근시간 및 통근시간 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다. 통근시간 및 통근시간 만족도는 비선형 관계(V)가 도출되었다. 여기서, 자율주행시대에 영향받을 가능성이 높은 비선형 구간인 통근시간 70분 이상영역을 중심으로 이항로지스틱 모형을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과 자율주행시대의 영향변수로는 건강도, 수면시간, 근무시간, 여가시간 등이 도출되었다. 자율주행자동차의 등장은 이러한 변수를 개선시킬 가능성이 높으므로 장거리 통근자의 통근시간 만족도는 개선될 가능성이 높다.

과학 기술 시대 평생교육 방향 탐색 (Exploring Direction of Lifelong Education in Age of Science and Technology)

  • 과학 기술 시대 평생교육은 국가의 교육정책의 한 방편으로 도입되면서 공적 지원이 어느 때 보다 확대되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 과학 기술 시대에서의 평생교육의 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 과학 기술 시대 평생교육의 방향성을 결정하는데 다양한 요소들을 고려해야 하지만 본 연구에서는 주로 과학 기술 시대에 초점을 맞춘 방향성을 제시하면 첫째, 직업교육으로서 평생교육이 필요하며, 둘째, 디지털 심화 교육으로 평생교육이 필요하며. 셋째, 생태전환 관점에서 평생교육이 필요하다. 과학 기술 시대 평생교육의 방향은 이러한 세 가지 관점을 중요하게 생각하고 어떻게 평생교육이 구체적으로 이바지할 것인가에 대한 후속 논의가 있기를 기대한다.

태풍 기상장의 신뢰도 분석: 태풍 매미(0314) (Analysis of Reliability of Weather Fields for Typhoon Maemi (0314))

  • 2003년 남해안에 내습한 태풍 매미에 의해 발생한 폭풍해일과 파랑을 JMA-MSM 예보기상자료, NCEP-CFSR 재분석 기상자료, ECMWF-ERA5 재분석 기상자료, JTWC의 최적경로를 이용한 기상자료를 이용하여 수치모의하고, 계산된 해일고를 전국 해안의 항만에서 관측된 폭풍해일 시계열 자료와 비교하였다. 폭풍해일과 동시에 발생하는 파랑에 대해서는 계산된 유의파고를 관측 자료와 비교하였다. 이 비교를 통해 태풍 매미에 대한 각종 기상장의 신뢰도를 평가하였다. 그 결과 JMA-MSM 기상자료가 가장 신뢰도가 높았고, JTWC의 최적경로를 이용한 기상자료도 상당히 우수하게 나타났다. ECMWF-ERA5 기상자료는 전반적으로 해일고나 파고의 크기가 작게 나타났으며, NCEP-CFSR 기상자료는 태풍 매미의 특정 경우에 대해 신뢰도가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 이 연구를 통하여 폭풍해일과 파랑을 추산하기 위해 신뢰도 높은 기상장이 필수적임을 알 수 있었다.

LOW-LEVEL RADIO EMISSION FROM RADIO GALAXIES AND IMPLICATIONS FOR THE LARGE SCALE STRUCTURE

  • We present an update on our proposal that during the 'quasar era' (1.5 $\le$ z $\le$ 3), powerful radio galaxies could have played a major role in the enhanced global star-formation, and in the widespread magnetization and metal pollution of the universe. A key ingredient of this proposal is our estimate that the true cosmological evolution of the radio galaxy population is likely to be even steeper than what has been inferred from flux-limited samples of radio sources with redshift data, when an allowance is made for the inverse Compton losses on the cosmic microwave background which were much greater at higher redshifts. We thus estimate that a large fraction of the clumps of proto-galactic material within the cosmic web of filaments was probably impacted by the expanding lobes of radio galaxies during the quasar era. Some recently published observational evidence and simulations which provide support for this picture are pointed out. We also show that the inverse Compton x-ray emission from the population of radio galaxies during the quasar era, which we inferred to be largely missing from the derived radio luminosity function, is still only a small fraction of the observed soft x-ray background (XRB) and hence the limit imposed on this scenario by the XRB is not violated.

개항기 일본으로부터 수입된 의복의 종류와 무역 특성 (Types and Trade Characteristics of Clothes Imported from Japan during the Port-Opening Era)

  • This study explores the types of clothing imported from Japan during the port-opening era and investigates the characteristics of import trade related to these clothing products. This is a literature study based on trade statistics data and books on Western clothing published in Japan during the Meiji period. Research findings are as follows: clothing products imported from Japan were divided into 6 types: 1) clothing, 2) undergarments, 3) shirts, 4) waterproof coats, 5) European-style clothing, and 6) nightgowns. "Clothing" is a unified name for any kind of garment, appearing in import records only from 1877 to 1884. Undergarments and shirts were imported from 1884. Waterproof coats were imported only in 1886 and 1898. European-style clothing and nightgowns were imported from 1902. In the total import of clothes, the proportion of clothing was the highest (48.0%), followed by undergarments (41.3%) and shirts (10.6%), while the ratio of nightgowns and raincoats was almost 0%. During the port-opening period, the change in the import value of clothes did not show a continuous increase, but rather showed a large stepwise increase over the course of several years.

대기화학-에어로졸 연동에 따른 기후예측시스템(GloSea6)의 동아시아 봄철 예측 성능 향상 가능성 (Possibilities for Improvement in Long-term Predictions of the Operational Climate Prediction System (GloSea6) for Spring by including Atmospheric Chemistry-Aerosol Interactions over East Asia)

  • 1개월과 3개월 장기 예보를 지원하기 위해 기상청에서 현업운용 중인 GloSea6 기후예측시스템에는 대기 중 대기화학-에어로졸 물리과정(UKCA)이 연동되어 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 저해상도의 GloSea6와 여기에 대기화학-에어로졸 과정을 연동시킨 GloSea6-UKCA를 CentOS 기반 리눅스 클러스터에 설치하여 2000년 봄철에 대한 예비적인 예측결과를 살펴보았다. 현업 고해상도 GloSea6 모델이 방대한 전산자원을 필요로 한다는 점을 고려할 때, 저해상도 GloSea6와 GloSea6-UKCA 모델은 대기화학-에어로졸 과정의 연동에 따른 효과를 살펴보기에 적합하다. 저해상도 GloSea6와 GloSea6-UKCA는 2000년 3월 1일 00Z부터 75일 간 구동되었으며, 두 모델이 예측한 2000년 4월 지상 기온과 일평균 강수량의 공간 분포를 ERA5 재분석자료와 비교하였다. GloSea6-UKCA가 예측한 기온과 강수 분포는 기존 GloSea6에 비해 ERA5 재분석자료에 보다 더 유사해졌다. 특히 우리나라를 포함한 동아시아 지역에 대해 과대 모의 경향이 있던 봄철 지상 기온과 일평균 강수량의 예측 결과의 개선이 주목할 만하다. 또한 적분 시간에 따른 예측된 기온과 강수량의 시계열에서도 GloSea6-UKCA가 GloSea6보다 재분석자료에 더 가까워진 시간 변화 경향을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이는 대기화학-에어로졸 과정이 GloSea6에 연동되었을 때 동아시아지역 봄철 예측 성능이 개선될 수 있음을 보여준다.

Qualitative Content Analysis: Solutions for Tourism Industry to Overcome the Crisis in a Post-Covid 19 era

  • Purpose: The coronavirus pandemic has affected the tourism industry in a big way. The travel industry suffered intense damage from the pandemic and procedures acquainted to containing its spread because the pandemic outbreak has led to a decline in the number of tourists and a change in their behavior. At this point, this research is to investigate adequate solutions for tourism industry to overcome the crisis in a post-Covid 19 era. Research design, data and methodology: The current author gathered data from each included study to analyze and summarize the evidence when conducting a literature analysis. This stage involves gathering and reviewing intricate texts databases for the meta-analysis. Results: The current author found total five solutions from numerous literature contents, suggesting how to overcome the crisis in a post-Covid era for tourism industry. Solutions as follows, (1) Drawing beginning illustrations, (2) Introducing Government Backing Programs, (3) Increasing Promotion of Tourism Destinations, (4) Enhancing Safety and Security Measures, and (5) Improving Infrastructure and Facilities. Conclusions: This research suggests that although the global economic recession leads to reduced demand and intense competition from other sectors, the tourism industry will be well positioned to weather these challenges if practitioners of tourism organizations follow five solutions of this research.

Tutorial: Design and Optimization of Power Delivery Networks

  • The era of the Internet of Things (IoT) is upon us. In this era, minimizing power consumption becomes a primary concern for system-on-chip designers. While traditional power minimization and dynamic power management (DPM) techniques have been heavily explored to improve the power efficiency of devices inside very large-scale integration (VLSI) platforms, there is one critical factor that is often overlooked, which is the power conversion efficiency of a power delivery network (PDN). This paper is a tutorial that focuses on the power conversion efficiency of the PDN, and introduces novel methods to improve it. Circuit-, architecture-, and system-level approaches are presented to optimize PDN designs, while case studies for three different VSLI platforms validate the efficacy of the introduced approaches.

e-비즈니스 시대의 대학정보시스템 구축 모델에 관한 연구: K 대학교 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on a Model of University Information Systems for e-Business Era)

  • The two main purposes of this paper are to 1) investigate critical components of university information systems for information resources management, 2) develop a comprehensive framework model of university information systems for e-Business Era. Through a literature review and by employing group decision making techniques with managers of K University, critical components for developing university information systems were identified. The critical components of university information systems are 1) academic affaires. 2) general administration. (3) research administration. (4) information services. (5) management support, (6) cyber education. (7) knowledge management, (8) e-library. (9) mobile service. and (10) IT infrastructures. In the second stage. by employing IT experts in K University and other institutes. a comprehensive framework of university information systems for e-Business era was developed. The comprehensive framework shows that major components for university information resources management are (1) information infrastructure. (2) common operating environments. (3) applications/information services. The results of this study expect to help managers. who are in charge of university information systems. plan to develop information systems based on the framework proposed in this paper.
