본 연구는 교사들의 웹기반 종합교육정보시스템인 에듀넷 사용에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 탐색함으로서 교사서비스로서 에듀넷의 발전 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 정보기술수용모형과 관련연구들을 바탕으로 에듀넷 사용에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 변인들을 추출하였다. 연구 대상은 에듀넷 교사채널의 핵심 사용자인 현장지원단 168명 중 온라인 설문 응답자인 100명을 분석하였고, 응답결과는 요인분석과 회귀분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 (a) 에듀넷 사용과 (b) 미래사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 유용성과 신뢰였다. (c) 에듀넷 유용성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 수업적합성과 용이성이었으며, (d) 에듀넷 용이성에 영향을 미치는 것은 에듀넷 활용 효능감, 에듀넷 컨텐츠 품질, 에듀넷 시스템 성능으로 나타났다.

현재 580만 명의 회원을 가진 에듀넷은 대표적인 국가교육정보서비스임에도 불구하고 초등학교 현장에서의 에듀넷 사용빈도와 활용성은 높지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 부산 경남 지역 초등학교 교사들을 대상으로 설문을 통해 에듀넷 서비스 활용실태와 문제점을 파악하여 개선 방향과 활성화 방안을 모색코자 하였다. 연구결과 교사들은 ICT 활용교육에 에듀넷 서비스는 5.3%, 사설교육정보서비스는 93.1%를 사용하고 있는 것으로 나타나 에듀넷 서비스보다는 사설교육정보서비스를 더 많이 이용하고 있었다. 에듀넷 서비스를 자주 이용하지 않는 주요 이유로 자료 검색의 어려움(29.4%)과 양질의 컨텐츠 부족(25%)을 지적하였다. 에듀넷 이용 활성화를 위해서는 이용의 불편사항을 보완하고 교사가 요구하는 서비스를 강화해야 하며, 우수한 교육 자료를 효율적으로 제공하여 교사가 이를 적극적으로 교육에 활용할 수 있도록 해야 한다.

This research attempts to establish a strategy through which to secure the introduction of the KEM 2.0 system. Another aim of this research is to eventually establish a service system which can be used to automatically generate and provide the metadata information contained in the Cylearn system. in order to facilitate Korean vocational high school students access to teaching-learning materials. The main research tasks associated with this research were: 1) To establish the components of the file server system while taking into consideration the environment in which each educational organization operates; 2) To utilize the KEM 2.0 in order to optimize the configuration of the Cylearn system and the related software. To do so, the KEM 2.0. should be applied in close coordination with Edunet: The results of this research can be summarized as follows: First, a strategy to introduce the KEM 2.0 was established. To achieve this, the researcher analyzed the characteristics of the sequencing and presentation methods and suggested teaching-learning materials based on the KEM 2.0.s sequencing system. Second, the file server was constructed using the KEM 2.0. The established file server took into account the environmental conditions in which the Edunet system operates so as to facilitate the creation of a network system with Edunet. Third, the Cylearn service system was linked to Edunet. The researcher developed a module using the KEM 2.0. that could be used to transmit the metadata related to teaching-learning materials to Edunet. To achieve this, an input device and a databank which could be used to transfer the generated metadata to Edunet were developed. The input device and databank developed using the KEM 2.0. were used to transfer the metadata to Edunet by linking the Cylearn system to the Edunet system.

In the so-called “information society,”the information service function of public libraries is gaining an increasing importance. In order to meet the growing demand for educational information, the Korean government established the Center for Educational Multimedia Research and Development and opened in 1996 the EDUNET as a comprchensive educational information network. In this context, public libraries as social education institutions are expected to provide educational information services by utilizing the EDUNET information resources. The availability of EDUNET will even increase when the librarians assist users with systematic information search services, and digitalize printed materials in the library. For this purpose, it is necessary for them to accommodate new information technologies and, thereby, to raise the level of information services up to that of their users’needs by enhancing the librarians’expertise in helping users search information effectively. In this end, we suggest a financial decision be made to build an oversea educational information exchange system.

본 연구는 초중고학생들의 웹 교육정보 시스템인 에듀넷의 활용 결정에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 찾아냄으로써 에듀넷 활용 확산을 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 혁신의 확산 이론과 웹 활용 교육에 대한 관련 선행연구들의 조사를 통해 에듀넷 활용에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상되는 변수로써 혁신의 속성(상대적 유용성, 적합성, 복잡성), 혁신성, 자기효능감, 주관적 판단, 지원을 추출하였다. 설문 조사는 서울.경기 지역의 초등학교 5, 6학년 315명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 응답결과는 로지스틱 회귀분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 혁신의 속성, 혁신성, 자기효능감, 주관적 판단, 지원을 포함한 회귀 모형의 적합성이 검정되었으며, 주관적판단, 지원이 에듀넷활용 여부를 결정짓는데 유의미한 영향을 미치는 변수로 확인되었다.

본 연구는 이용자들의 불확실성과 관련된 정보추구행태를 조사하였다. KERIS 에듀넷 시스템을 활용하여 국사 영역의 정보를 탐색하는 이용자집단을 대상으로 자료수집이 이루어졌고, 수집된 자료는 근거이론의 지속적인 비교분석에 의해 분석되었다. 연구결과는 정보요구의 식별, 정보시스템의 선정, 탐색어의 선택, 정보시스템의 이용 및 탐색결과의 평가 등 다섯 단계에 걸친 이용자 불확실성을 제시하였다. 에듀넷 시스템 및 관련 서비스의 제고로 나누어 제시된 본 연구의 제안점은 다음과 같이 요약될 수 있다. 시스템 측면에서는 탐색 및 디스플레이 인터페이스 기능을 포함한 검색 메커니즘의 개선, 그리고 지원하는 자료의 확충으로 정리되었다. 서비스 측면에서는 정보서비스 제공자가 '불확실성의 근원'(origin of uncertainty)을 파악함이 중요하다는 점이 강조되었다. 즉 '근원'이 시스템 기능의 미흡함과 관련되어 있는지, 아니면 특정 이용자의 탐색경험 부족 또는 탐색능력 미비에만 기초한 것인지를 파악할 필요성을 제시하였다. 즉 제반 요인들을 고려한 정보서비스 제공자의 개입이 요구됨을 강조하였다.

본 연구는 초 중등 분야에서 교육용 디지털 콘텐츠의 질 관리 및 효율적인 콘텐츠 관리를 위하여 수명주기 체계에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 에듀넷 사례를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 에듀넷 선도교사를 대상으로 콘텐츠의 활용 주기, 업데이트 주기 등 수명주기에 대한 요구사항을 실시하고 이를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 교육용 콘텐츠의 생성 목적이 교과인지 비교과인지 여부와 주제/교육 방향과 교수 학습 등 교육 환경의 지속적인 변화를 반영하여 기존에 서비스하고 있는 콘텐츠를 재평가할 수 있는 명확한 수명주기 체제를 구축하여 교육용 콘텐츠의 품질관리가 필요함을 보여주었다. 본 연구는 초 중등 분야에서 디지털 콘텐츠를 제공하고 있는 기관에서 사용자 친화적인 서비스 구성을 위해 사용자의 요구사항이 무엇인지를 파악하고 수명주기 기반의 콘텐츠 관리 체계를 마련할 필요성을 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the improvement of the educational web service by using of usability test. For this purpose, a case study was performed with three teachers. They solved three problems, which were linked to the usability of educational web site, with think-aloud. All their actions in the screen and their verbalizations were recorded as computer files. Recoded data were analyzed with the task-performance time analysis, behavior code analysis, and problem behavior graph analysis. From the result of analysis, five improvement strategies were proposed for the development of EDUNET which is an educational information service system and a national teaching & learning center.

1996년부터 국내 초 중등 교육포털 서비스로 운영 중인 에듀넷www.edunet.net은 2007년 말 기준으로 연회원 570만 명, 일일 사용자수 48만 명인 웹서비스 사이트로서, 총 85만건의 교육 콘텐츠를 무료로 서비스하고 있다. 회원 대다수가 교사, 학생, 학부모로 구성되어 있으며, 각 개인마다 필요로 하는 정보와 정보제공 형태에 대한 요구가 다르다. 이러한 고객의 다양한 기대와 요구를 충족하기 위해서는 일방향적으로 제공하는 형태의 기존 정보제공 방식에서 개인이 자유롭게 필요한 정보를 선택하여 개인화된 포털을 구성하고 이를 자유롭게 공유할 수 있는 형태로의 사용자 중심 오픈 서비스 패러다임 변화가 필요하다. 분산화의 대표적인 서비스인 위젯서비스의 국내외 사례분석을 통해 에듀넷 위젯활용 방안 및 서비스전략을 고찰하고자 한다.
