The rotated bending fatigue test was conducted in air md in 3.5% NaCl salt solution to investigate the fatigue fracture behaviour of raw material and F.E.M dual phase steel made from raw material(SS41) by a suitable heat treatment. This study has compared the initial microcrack creation of material by tensile test with that by fatigue test. And the rotated bending test of cantilever type under the condition of 3.5% NaCl salt solution and air has investigated the corrosion fatigue fracture behaviour with the variation of stress concentration factor determined by each of notch shapes. The initial microcrack have been developed in fragile grainboundary with general corrosion occurring in raw material : in the pits built up by corrosion in F.E.M. dual phase steel because pits bring out stress concentration. It is small that the degree of decrease in corrosion fatigue life for F.E.M. dual phase steel compared with raw material because the notch sensitivity of F.E.M. dual phase steel is lower than raw material in reason of characteristics with two-phase construction.

To analyze the characteristics of bacteriophages in Enterococcus faecium, D-19 and F6 phages were induced from five E. faecium isolated from sprouts by the treatment with mitomycin C. The bacteriophages of D-19 and F-6 had long, non-contractile tails and icosahedral heads, and were members of Siphoviridae family. As the host spectrum, D-19 phage lysed five out of 55 strains of E. faecium, whereas F6 phage lysed only three strains. Both D-19 and F6 phages displayed similar and high stabilities against ethanol and pH capable of resisting the exposure to 100% ethanol and pH 4.

We report the photoemission (PES) studies for the Co/Pd multilayter. The Co 3d PES spectrum of Co/Pd exhibits two interesting features, one near the Fermi energy, $E_{F}$, and another at ~2.5 eV below $E_{F}$. The Co 3d peak near $E_{F}$ of Co/Pd is much narrower than that of the bulk Co, consistent with the enhanced Co magnetic moment in Co/Pd compared to that in the bulk Co. The Co 3d feature at ~-2.5 eV resembles the Pd valence band structures, which suggests a substantial hybridization between the Co and Pd sublayers. The Co 3d PES spectrum of Co/Pd is compared with the existing band structures, obtained using the local spin density functional calculations. A reasonable agreement is found concerning the bandwidth of the occupied part of the Co 3d band, whereas a narrow Co 3d peak near $E_{F}$ seems not to be described by the band structure calculations.

School food services using environment-friendly agricultural products (E.F.A.E) have been promoted by school food service center (S.F.S.C) of each county in Chungnam. Since Dangjin S.F.S.C was established for the first time in 2011, 13 S.F.S.Cs have been established in 13 counties of Chungnam. 9 S.F.S.Cs of them have been managed directly by each county and 4 S.F.S.Cs of them managed by contracted cooperatives. Price deviation of 8 foodstuffs (rice, radish, spinach, cabbage, scallion, onion, garlic and potato) which are consumed much relatively was showed differently by counties. And in the average price of 8 foodstuffs, that of foodstuffs produced within the county was lower than that of produced in Chungnam and domestic. Also, the coefficient of variation of school foodstuffs was lower than that of retail market because S.F.S.C has procured school foodstuffs by contract cultivation between each S.F.S.C and producers. Contract cultivation effected on E.F.A.E price stability and producers' farm income.

MCM proteins are essential for eukaryotic DNA replication, playing roles in the initiation and elongation of DNA replication. MCM proteins expression is much higher in malignant tissues than normal tissues. Several reports have indicated the usefulness of MCM proteins as markers of cancer cells in histopathological diagnosis. However, the cause of enhanced expression of MCM proteins in cancer cells remain to be clarified. The purpose of this study is to examine the relative transcriptional activities of human mcm gene promoters in cancer and normal cells. The minimal promoter region required for transcription of a luciferase reporter gene was contained an E-box and one E2F site. In addition, luciferase activities from mcm7 and mcm2 promoter/luciferase gene reporter constructs were significantly increased in cancer cells at 8 times compared with normal cells. E-box and E2F binding site in the promoter of mcm genes are responsible for different mechanism of transcription regulation on the cellular environment.

By simply splitting the hypergeometric Saran function $F_E$ into eight parts, we show how some useful and generalized relations between $F_E$ and Srivas- tava's hypergeometric function $F^{(3)}$ can be obtained. These main results are shown to be specialized to yield certain relations between functions $_0F_1$, $_1F_1$, $_0F_3$, ${\Psi}_2$, and their products including different combinations with different values of parameters and signs of variables.

In this paper, we study the transcendental meromorphic solutions for the nonlinear differential equations: fⁿ + P(f) = R(z)e^α(z) and fⁿ + P_*(f) = p₁(z)e^α₁(z) + p₂(z)e^α₂(z) in the complex plane, where P(f) and P_*(f) are differential polynomials in f of degree n - 1 with coefficients being small functions and rational functions respectively, R is a non-vanishing small function of f, α is a nonconstant entire function, p₁, p₂ are non-vanishing rational functions, and α₁, α₂ are nonconstant polynomials. Particularly, we consider the solutions of the second equation when p₁, p₂ are nonzero constants, and deg α₁ = deg α₂ = 1. Our results are improvements and complements of Liao ([9]), and Rong-Xu ([11]), etc., which partially answer a question proposed by Li ([7]).

Eight strains of Lactobacilli(a, b, b', c, d, e, f and g) were isolated from seven Korean liquid-yogurts(A, B, C, D, E, F and G), and identification and tolerance-test to digestive fluids were carried out. Isolate a from yogurt A and isolate a from yogurt E were identified as L. casei, isolate b from yogurt B as L. acidophilus, isolate d from yogurt D as L. bulgaricus, isolate f from yogurt F as L. helveticus, and isolate b' from yogurt B, isolate c from yogurt C and isolate g from yogurt G as L. jugurti, respectively. Isolate f(L. helveticus) and c(L. jugurti) showed high tolerance to artificial gastric juice but didn't to bile acid. Isolate b(L. acidophilus), a(L. casei), and e(L. casei) showed high tolerance to both artificial gastric juice and bile acid, but isolate d(L. bulgaricus), b'(L. jurgurti) and g(L. jugurti) did not.

Spinel phase LiF $e_{y}$M $n_{2-y}$ $O_4$samples are synthesized by calcining a LiOH.$H_2O$, Mn $O_2$and F $e_2$ $O_3$mixture at 80$0^{\circ}C$ for 36h in air. Preparing LiF $e_{y}$M $n_{2-y}$ $O_4$showed spinel phase with cubic phase. The ununiform distortion of the crystallite of the spinel LiF $e_{y}$M $n_{2-y}$ $O_4$was more stable than that of the pure. The discharge capacity of the cathode for the Li/LiF $e_{0.1}$M $n_{1.9}$ $O_4$cell at the first than that of the pure. The discharge capacity of the cathode for the Li/LiF $e_{0.1}$M $n_{1.9}$ $O_4$cell at the first cycle and at the 70th cycle was about 113 and 90mAh/g, respectively. This cell capacity was retained about 82% of the first cycle after 70th cycle. Impedance profile of this cell was more stable than that pure. The resistance, the capacitance and chemical diffusion coefficients of lithium ion showed approximately 80$\Omega$, 36133.87$\mu$F ; 1.4$\times$10$^{-8}$ c $m^2$ $s^{-1}$ , respectively. , respectively.ely.
