Objective: An water extract of the Hwang-Ryun-Chung-Sim-Um (HRC) was assessed to determine the mechanisms of its antioxidant activity. In addition, the HRC was examined in vitro for the inhibitory effect on the acetylcholinesterse (AChE). Methods: The HRC exhibited a concentration-treatment; scavenging ${\alpha},{\alpha}-diphenyl-{\beta}-picrylhydrazyl$ (DPPH) radical, linoleic acid oxidation in a thiocyanate assay system, hydroxyl radical-induced DNA nicking. We investigated mRNA levels such as catalase activity, superoxide-dismutase and glutathione peroxidase. The water extract of HRC showed inhibitory effect on AChE activity. Result: The HRC extract showed dose-dependent free radical scavenging activity, including DPPH radicals and hydroxyl radicals, using different system. The HRC was also found to be effective in protecting plasmid DNA against the strand breakage induced by Hydroxyl radicals in Fenton's reaction mixture. Futhermore, catalase mRNA expression levels increased, but SOD1 and MnSOD was not expressed. HRC in a various concentration-dependent decreased AChE mRNA levels and inhibitory effect showed AChE. Conclusion: According to the above results, it is supposed that HRC is applicable to the Dementia-type of Alzheimer clinically.

The optical properties of (1210) GaN epitaxy films grown on the (1012) $\alpha-A1_2O_3$ substrates have been studied. The hetero-epitaxy films were grown by the halide vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE) method using $Ga/HC1/NH_3/He$ system at $990^{\circ}C$. XRD, RHEED and SEM are used for the identification of the hetero-epitaxy films structure and surface morphology. The confirmed (1210) GaN epitaxy films were characterized by PL and Raman. By the Raman scattering, the active phonon modes of single-phase GaN films are varied with the arrangement of both polarization and propagation directions of laser beam with reference to the axis in single-phase crystal films. The Y(Z, Y & Z) X geometry allows scattering pat-terns of $A_1(TO)=533\;cm^{-1},\;E_1(TO)=559\;cm^{-1}\;and\;E_2=568 cm^{-1}$ modes, whereas in the Z(Y, Y & Z) X geometry the only $E_2$ mode are observed.

It is so sensitive that the wetland ecosystem very weak in artificial interference and environment change. wetlands are a transitional zone between aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. This natural property is important to people and life. It is necessary to preservation and protection of the wetland with a countermeasure. we really need to Environment-GIS (E-GIS) and digital map which is included correct position, attribute data and range of the wetland. In this study, we take priority of making a database of wetland management. Moreover, we standardize a digital map production of wetland in our research and we improve accuracy of control survey using GPS surveying. The main purpose of this study is to suggest a pre-estimated wetland that have not yet been discovered. by analysing terrain, geological feature, a geographical distribution of plants and animals using GIS.

The iron doped GaAs single crystals were grown by liquid phase epitaxial method and its some physical properties were evaluated with a view to investigate the crystal quality and emission property. The isomer shift of 0.303mm/sec is calculated from low-temperature M ssbauer spectroscopy and we know that charge state of iron ion is 3+ in GaAs crystal. In low temperature photoluminescence, the deep emission bands with wide-line width have been observed at 0.99eV and 1.15eV in addition to sharp excitonic peaks. We attributed that these deep emissions are originated from substitutional Fe-acceptor which has charge state of 3+ and 2+, respectively.

This study analyzed how not only socio-economic variables but also lifestyle variables affect the expenditure and the patterns of households. The result of multiple regression analysis resealed that economic variables(e.g, income, saving, property) and lifestyle variable(e.g, enjoyment and convenience seeking type) affected the consumption expenditure. Based on the result of cluster analysis, The consumption expenditure patterns of urban households were separated as 1)necessity dominant pattern, 2)transportation $.$ communication dominant patters, 3)other consumption dominant pattern, 4)education$.$culture and recreation dominant pattern. The result of logistic analysis revealed that debt, saying and living location variables were major factors to determine the consumption expenditure patterns of urban households. But did not Influence on the Consumption Expenditure Patterns.

In this paper we study the existence of conditional expectation for closed and convex valued Pettis-integrable random sets without assuming the Radon Nikodym property of the Banach space. New version of multivalued dominated convergence theorem of conditional expectation and multivalued $L{\acute{e}}vy^{\prime}s$ martingale convergence theorem for integrable and Pettis integrable random sets are proved.

In this study, a more practical and simulation approach which can predict the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys is proposed. First, cooling rate, micro-structure, and mechanical properties of casting product were measured through casting experiment. The relation between cooling rate and SDAS decrease exponentially and the linearly decreasing relation exist between SDAS and mechanical properties. Then, the cooling rate was calculated by casting process simulation and the mechanical properties were predicted by using the relations that were derived through experiment. Experimentally measured mechanical properties and predicted values by simulation were in the range of relatively small difference. The mechanical properties of various Al alloys are expected to be predicted by the casting process simulation before actual casting.

The filial piety culture represented by Cao-e was regarded as moral rule mechanism in order to maintain patriarchal system and property relations in ancient China as an agricultural society. Exactly, In the process of Cao-e's story spreading, oral inheritance and literature processing have a relation of learning and penetration each other in order to beautify, deify, systematic stories. This is expression of human being's thought method of pursuing perfection. For instance, The traditional piety culture is increasingly weakened, that is why it is important to recognize the fundamental connotation behind the cultural identity in the modern society, to create the social foundation of Cao-e' filial piety cultural contents root, and to explore the core values of piety culture contains. Looking Cao-e' filial piety Culture and culture archetypes as study object, this article analyzes the spreading of Cao-e's story texts for understand the connection between literature processing and image formation from aspect of Cao-e deification.

This paper presents a rigid-plastic finite element method to handle the frictional contact problem between two deformable bodies experiencing large deformation. The variational formulation combined with incremental quasi-static model is employed for treating the contact boundary condition. The frictional behavior of the model obeys Coulomb's law of friction. The proposed contact algorithms are classified into two categories, one for searching contacting nodes and the other for calculating contact forces at the contact surface. A slave node and master contact segment are defined using the geometric condition of finite elements on the contact interface. The penalty parameter is used to limit the penetration between contacting bodies, and the finite elements are coupled with contact boundary elements.us gates and cavity thicknesses. Through this study we have observed that the jetting is related to the die swell of material. This means that the jotting is strongly affected by the elastic flow property rather than the viscous flow property in viscoelastic characteristics of molten polymer. Different resins have different elastic properties, and elastic flow behavior depends on the shear rate of flow, i.e. injection speed. Large die swell would eliminate jetting however, the retardation of die swell would stimulate jetting. In the point of mole design, reducing the thickness ratio of cavity to gate can reduce or eliminate jetting regardless of amount of elasticity of polymer melt.

The advent of the Internet and the enormous increase in volume of electronically stored information (SGML, Image, Sound, etc.) has led to substantial work on IR(Information Retrieval). To service on the WWW, construction and retrieval technology of SGML, which is the fundamental standard data format for CALS/EC, is needed specially. Due to such a change, it becomes essential to change the existing paradigm of conventional information retrieval systems and to adopt new Internet service system with search engine, SGML browser and advanced Internet technology on WWW. KIPRIS(Korea Industrial Property Rights Information Service), which is the specialized and integrated Internet service systems in the field of industrial property rights information service, is trying to be a guide for our country to establish its technological competitiveness with providing the online service of high quality. The objective of the paper identifies features and technologies of KIPRIS IR(Information Retrieval) system based on WWW as follows. First, it describes the development background and process of KIPRIS. Second, it presents a fundamental technology that consists of IR(Information Retrieval) concept, BRS(Bibliographical Retrieval System) search engine, SGML implementation technologies and the Internet/WWW technologies. Third, it provides information about system configuration, architecture, and the features and characteristics of KIPRIS. Finally, the implemented KIPRIS system is introduced.
