  • Moisture transfer property of fabrics has known as one of the most important factors deciding wearer's subjective comfort not only thermally but also of sensorial. As a decisive property of fabric materials in determining human sensorial comfort, moisture vapor management property of heat resistant workwear material was examined in terms of increasing and decreasing rate and maximum value of relative humidity in the microclimate under the sweat pulse situation. An unique moisture regulation index, B$_{d}$, was calculated from the measurements using a novel dynamic sweating hot plate apparatus and was used to assess the buffering capacity of fabrics against a moisture vapor sweat pulse.e.

  • The test on the breakdown strength and the electrical conduction property about the PET flim have been done when the interface exist and do not exist between the PET flim. The PET flim that does not exist the interface uniformly maintained the breakdown strength as the temperature increase. But, the breakdown strength of the PET flim inserted carbon black flim decreased as the temperature increase. The initial current of the PET flim inserted carbon black flim was higher than the PET flim and the uniformly distributed between 2.2E-9 and 2.5E-9 above 5kV/mm.

  • Shear modulus is directly linked to material's stiffness and is one of the most critical engineering parameters. Seismically, shear-wave velocity (Vs) is its best indicator. Although methods like refraction, down-hole, and cross-hole shear-wave surveys can be used, they are generally known to be tougher than any other seismic methods in field operation, data analysis, and overall cost. On the other hand, surface waves, commonly known as ground roll, are always generated in all seismic surveys with the strongest energy, and their propagation velocities are mainly determined by Vs of the medium. Furthermore, sampling depth of a particular frequency component of surface waves is in direct proportion to its wavelength and this property makes the surface wave velocity frequency dependent, i.e., dispersive. The multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) method tries to utilize this dispersion property of surface waves for the purpose of Vs profiling in 1-D (depth) or 2-D (depth and surface location) format. The active MASW method generates surface waves actively by using an impact source like sledgehammer, whereas the passive method utilizes those generated passively by cultural (e.g., traffic) or natural (e.g., thunder and tidal motion) activities. Investigation depth is usually shallower than 30 m with the active method, whereas it can reach a few hundred meters with the passive method. Overall procedures with both methods are briefly described.

  • Let E be a real Banach space with property (U,${\lambda}$,m+1,m);${\lambda}{\ge}$0; m${\in}N$, and let C be a nonempty closed convex and bounded subset of E. Suppose T: $C{\leftrightarro}C$ is a strongly accretive map, It is proved that each of the two well known fixed point iteration methods( the Mann and Ishikawa iteration methods.), under suitable conditions , converges strongly to a solution of the equation Tx=f.

  • This paper proposes a new 3-D display without glasses using $Moir\acute{e}$ system. It is possible to create a new three-dimensional expression that is different from conventional 3-Dimages. In this study we have geometrically analyzed the process by which moire takes on a three-dimensional property and validated the results of this analysis.

  • Large quantity of metal mordant in natural dyeing has been used. For environmental reason, there is a need to reduce the amount of metal mordant and suggest the optimum amount of metal mordant in dyeing process. In this study, the relationship between mordant concentration and dyeing property was investigated. Various metal mordant concentrations of AI, Cu, Fe, Sn, were studied (from 1 to 5%). After treatment of mordant on cotton fabric, the concentration of metal ion in used mordant solution was quantified. There was no significant difference of the tone of color in mordant concentration from 1% to 5%, Therefore, there is no need to increase mordant concentration over 1%. chitosan treated cotton fabric showed a significant increase in dyeing affinity compared to untreated cotton fabric (the value of ${\Delta}E$ was 20). chitosan increased dye affinity significantly in the presence of mordant. It can be suggested that chitosan itself can replace metal mordants in the future.

  • According to the increment of urban buildings, the demand of eco-environment space will be also increased. Therefore, the artificial ground green system on a roof will be supplied gradually. In this study, the concept of simplification, unification and prefabrication was widely applied to supply green system. Consequently, the box unit system with a continuous soil layer was developed, and adhesive property, wind resistance and insulation property of this system were evaluated for site application. As a results of adhesive property and wind resistance test, comparing with design wind pressure and wind velocity, this system was safe at the height of 100m building located in urban. In addition, results of temperature measurement for 120 days showed 17% higher insulation property at daytime and 45% higher insulation property at night than normal box unit system owing to continuous soil layer.

  • The purpose of this study was to replace the highly imported wheat consumption with rice in order to improve the rate of food self-sufficiency. Also, the study focused on the possibility of compounded bread making with rice flour, its taste for the Korean who have westernized eating styles, and the development of rice flour compounded bread as an alternative for wheat allergic people. Therefore, the researcher produced the soaked-rice flour, toasted-rice flour, and Extrusion-Expansion of Rice (E-ER) flour by different processing methods to bake rice wheat bread with the 10~50% mixing proportion. The volume and structure of bread were observed with Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and the sensory quality and the baking property were analyzed with a seven-point Likert type scale of Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA). The sensory quality consisted of seven qualities such as color, size and distribution of air cell, flavor, softness, chewing, and overall quality that were evaluated as higher rating showed the better quality. The results of this study are: 1. The volume of the three types of rice wheat bread was almost same or bigger than wheat bread with the 20% of mixed proportion. 2. The size and distribution of air cell of E-ER wheat bread observed by SEM were more evenly distributed that toasted-rice wheat bread. The E-ER wheat bread had soft structure and was relatively similar to wheat flour bread. However, the structure of soaked-rice wheat bread was significantly different to other types of rice wheat bread. The structure of 10% mixed all three types of rice wheat bread was similar and evenly distributed to wheat bread but was bigger and coarser as higher mixing proportion of rice flour. 3. The dark brown color of rice wheat bread showed low sensory quality. 4. Both soaking-rice flour and E-ER flour were able to be mixed with wheat flour up to the 50%, and the seven sensory quality of these wheat bread were better than those of wheat bread. Among the three types of rice flour, toasted-rice wheat bread showed low bread property and sensory quality compared to soaked-rice or E-ER wheat bread. Consequently, this study showed that rice wheat bread that contains 20~30% of rice flour was better than wheat bread in the appropriate volume, seven sensory qualities and bread property.

  • In this note, we investigate stable minimal hypersurfaces with weighted Poincar$\acute{e}$ inequality. We show that we still get the vanishing property without assuming that the hypersurfaces is non-totally geodesic. This generalizes a result in [2].
