Multi-dimensional Trust Building Process to Explain Customer Satisfaction on e-Commerce

  • Advanced online environment and communication technology have made the e-commerce environments evolved rapidly. In the e-commerce area, one of the most important concepts regarding the relationship between seller and buyer is the "trust." Considering the purpose of purchase and satisfaction of website, the users may face problems such as consumer's transaction security or personal information sharing when they make transactions over web sites. It could be difficult to pursue the goal for the users to purchase product or service over online if the seller or service provider cannot establish trust to the customers. In this paper, through multi-dimensional viewpoints of trust, satisfaction can be accounted for by cue-based trust and experienced trust. The purchase intention mediates the experienced trust when online users purchase products or use online service.

The Influence of E-commerce Logistics Service Quality on Customer Engagement Behavior

  • Purpose: With the rapid development of e-commerce, logistics services, as an important part of e-commerce shopping, have gradually attracted people's attention. Customer engagement behavior is a new topic in marketing, and its connotation is still being explored. The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between logistics service quality and customer engagement behavior. Research design, data and methodology: This study employed the method of online questionnaire survey, with Chinese e-commerce platform users as the survey objects, 248 valid survey sample data were collected, and the method of factor analysis and structural equation model analysis was used to verify the research hypothesis model constructed in this paper. Results: The four dimensions of e-commerce logistics service quality have different influences on customer satisfaction, and the influence of availability on customer satisfaction is not significant. Convenience, assurance, and security have a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction; Customer satisfaction has a significant positive impact on the three dimensions of customer engagement behavior: customer repeat purchase behavior, online word-of-mouth, and customer referrals. Conclusion: The results of this study will provide useful reference for the managers of e-commerce companies to improve customer engagement behavior by improving the logistics service quality.

  • 초고속 통신망을 이용한 인터넷의 대중화와 더불어 인터넷을 기반으로 하는 e-Commerce 가 활발해지고 있다. e-Commerce 에 있어서 민감한 정보의 기밀성과 사용자 인증의 확보가 필수적이며, 이를 위해서는 전자 서명 기술을 포함하고 있는 공개키 기반의 인증서 관리 체계의 확립이 선결되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 인증, 기밀성 및 무결성 문제를 해결하기 위해 PKI 기반 인증서의 생성, 관리 기능과 인증서를 상호 교환하여 매매 협상을 하는 에이전트 중재에 의한 SecuPmart 보안 애플리케이션을 설계하고 이에 대하여 기술한다.

Measurement of Customers Satisfaction in Agricultural E-Commerce (농산물 전자상거래의 고객만족도 측정)

  • The objectives of this investigation were 1) to measure the level of customers satisfaction in agricultural E-Commerce, 2) to identify the variables affecting customer satisfaction, and 3) to suggest ways to improve the level of user satisfaction in agricultural E-Commerce. The major findings of the research can be summarized as follows: 1) The result of ANOVA showed that there is no significant difference in the degree of customer satisfaction among groups of demographic characteristics such as gender. age, marriage, job, the level of education and the level of income. 2) The results of multiple regression analysis showed that four variables had significant effects on the degree of customer satisfaction: internet environment, product information, security, and price. Moreover, the six variables included in this study explained 61.5% of the degree of customer satisfaction.

  • E-commerce has various advantages such as saving the cost and no constraint on time and space, unlike real-world commerce. On the other hand, e-commerce has some important issues to solve since the commerce is conducted on the cyberspace. The issues are a mutual confidence of parties participating in the commerce as well as a method of payments. On early days, electronic cash was designed using blind digital signature to protect the personal information from being exposed and to provide the perfect anonymity for user. In this paper, a new blind signature scheme based on Feige-Fiat-Shamir digital signature is proposed, which is very efficient compared with the other schemes in terms of the computational complexity. Also, a traceable Electronic Cash System which is based on the proposed blind digital signature is designed, which has a nice feature of identifying the spender in case of using the money illegally.

  • The accurate user- authentication technology is being raised as one of the most important in this current society, which is, so called, information society. Most authentication technology is used to identify users by using the special characteristics of users. This paper has established an e-commerce shopping mall based on conventional e-commerce systems. It also suggested and established the user authentication interface that uses the mouse gesture, which is the new authentication of what users have. The user authentication interface using the mouse gesture generates the status of recognition directly on the screen by comparing the stored pattern values with the unique pattern values that users entered. When users purchase products through the shopping mall and enter their another signature information together with payment information, security can be more increased. Experimental results show that our mouse gesture interface may be useful to provide more security to e-commerce server.

  • The legal dispute of electronic commerce and computer crimes are increasing because the electronic services like e-government and e-commerce are now widely used. Computer Forensics becomes the method for recovery, preservation, analysis and report regarding digital evidence essential to resolve the legal dispute and computer crime. In this paper, the developmental process of Computer Forensics is discussed. It is intended to elicit constructive discussion regarding the domestic Computer Forensics. And this discussion will be of help to establish the secure e-business and e-government services in the field of the research, legal system and technical skill of domestic Computer Forensics.

  • China has recently (28 August 2004) adopted a new act legalizing the electronic signature. This new act provides electronic signatures with the same legal status as handwritten signatures, and states that on-line certification providers will have to be created in order to ensure the security of on-line operations made using said signatures. This new act is intended to increase Chinese electronic business, and thus to raise the revenue China can expect from said business. And the law grants electronic signatures the same legal effect as handwritten signatures and seals in business transactions, and sets up the market access system for online certification providers to ensure the security of e-commerce. As Internet trade requires a reliable third party to identify the signers, the credibility of online certifying organizations is significant for the transaction security. So, considering the weakness of China's social credibility system, the law regulates that the online signatures certification providers should be approved and administered by governments.

  • EC(Electronic Commerce) is increasing with high speed based on the expansion of Internet. EC which is done through Internet has strong point like independence from time and space, On the contrary, it also has weak point like security problem because anybody can access easily to the system due to open network attribute of Internet. Therefore, we need the solutions that protect the security problem for safe and useful U activity, One of these solutions is the implementation of strong cipher algorithm. NPC(Non-Polynomial Complete) cipher algorithm proposed in this paper is good for the security and it overcome the limit of current 64bits cipher algorithm using 256bits key for input output and encryption key, Moreover, it is designed for the increase of calculation complexity and probability calculation by adapting more complex design for subkey generation regarded as one of important element effected to encryption.

  • It is growing to use the E-Commerce, recently However, if a cracking tool that detects e keyboard input is set up, users' input values and personal information could be taken away. This paper shows the design and implementation of security system that prevent the keyboard input information leaking. The ideas of thus paper are encrypting the keyboard input values with using the keyboard interrupt hooking, the browser embedding program's decrypting the values in case of need and decrypting all values in the web server. The own input control was developed for direct attacks to the browser, and that the values of password fields which are showed as *(asterisk character) won't be decrypted in the client PC is different from other commercial keyboard input security systems. Consequently, this paper shows the chance of realizing a lot safer customer information protective system than before.
