P2P 사용자 인증과 OTP 분석

  • 유비쿼터스 서비스 인프라로 부각되고 있는 P2P(Peer-to-Peer) 네트워크는 사용자 제작 콘텐트, 동영상, 파일 등으로 대표되는 지식 콘텐트뿐만 아니라, 컴퓨터 및 네트워크 자원(Resource)을 다양한 환경에서 N 대 N의 형태로 상호 공유 및 분배할 수 있는 구조적 가능성을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 "Open, Dynamic, Anonymous" 등의 특성을 기반으로 하는 P2P 네트워크는 신뢰적 ID(Identity) 생성 및 관리 그리고 이의 적절한 인증에 대한 지원 없이는 현실적으로 잠재적인 보안 위협에 노출되는 제약이 따르게 된다. 한편, 최근 금융보안업계가 주축이 되어 일회용패스워드로 지칭되는 OTP(One Time Password) 인증 메커니즘(Authentication Mechanism)을 제 1 등급 보안방법으로 명시화하고 있고, 온라인 업계에서도 이를 활용하는 기술적 시도 및 개발 사례가 늘어나고 있어, OTP 기술의 보안성 검토 및 활용 범위를 확대하는 방안에 대한 논의의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본고에서는 이러한 기술적 흐름 및 산업계 동향에 발맞춰 P2P 네트워크에서 사용자 인증을 위해 OTP 메커니즘을 활용하기 위한 방안에 대해 검토하고 이의 적용 가능성을 분석한다.

국제 무역박람회의 전시영상콘텐츠 분석 -ISE 2013을 중심으로 (An Analysis of Exhibition Video Contents in International Trade Show-Focused on the ISE 2013)

  • Recently the trade show is a massive marketing effort of a particular industry and introduces new products to potential customers, as well as the ability to elevate the brand's image and corporate identity. It is increasing its importance as a venue of communication. In these changes, the exhibition is required to have the emotional approach to enhance the dynamic and creative image of companies. Therefore, the product itself as well as the importance of various visual contents of the exhibition is increasing positive effect of the image and marketing on their products. In this sense, this study analyzes video contents of the exhibition that was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Europe's largest display show 'ISE (Integrated Systems Europe)' in 2013, focusing on the domestic company, Samsung, LG Electronics and other four foreign companies. The analysis is based on the Herbert Zettl's applied media aesthetics related to the video contents, through which we can find the way to the development of exhibition video contents making for Trade show.

Polycomb-Mediated Gene Silencing in Arabidopsis thaliana

  • Polycomb group (PcG) proteins are conserved chromatin regulators involved in the control of key developmental programs in eukaryotes. They collectively provide the transcriptional memory unique to each cell identity by maintaining transcriptional states of developmental genes. PcG proteins form multi-protein complexes, known as Polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1) and Polycomb repressive complex 2 (PRC2). PRC1 and PRC2 contribute to the stable gene silencing in part through catalyzing covalent histone modifications. Components of PRC1 and PRC2 are well conserved from plants to animals. PcG-mediated gene silencing has been extensively investigated in efforts to understand molecular mechanisms underlying developmental programs in eukaryotes. Here, we describe our current knowledge on PcG-mediated gene repression which dictates developmental programs by dynamic layers of regulatory activities, with an emphasis given to the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.

Training Method and Speaker Verification Measures for Recurrent Neural Network based Speaker Verification System

  • This paper presents a training method for neural networks and the employment of MSE (mean scare error) values as the basis of a decision regarding the identity claim of a speaker in a recurrent neural networks based speaker verification system. Recurrent neural networks (RNNs) are employed to capture temporally dynamic characteristics of speech signal. In the process of supervised learning for RNNs, target outputs are automatically generated and the generated target outputs are made to represent the temporal variation of input speech sounds. To increase the capability of discriminating between the true speaker and an impostor, a discriminative training method for RNNs is presented. This paper shows the use and the effectiveness of the MSE value, which is obtained from the Euclidean distance between the target outputs and the outputs of networks for test speech sounds of a speaker, as the basis of speaker verification. In terms of equal error rates, results of experiments, which have been performed using the Korean speech database, show that the proposed speaker verification system exhibits better performance than a conventional hidden Markov model based speaker verification system.

제3세대 고속열차(HEMU-400X) 디자인 프로세스의 기본개념에 대한 고찰 (A Perspective of Basic Concept in Design Process for The 3rd Generation KTX(HEMU-400X))

  • Now, the goal of the third generation KTX project is to create a new species of high speed train in order to open a new era of high speed railway system in history by authentic Korean technology and innovative design. Now the third generation KTX, must go beyond the original stagnant paradigm and be positioned as an emotional resource which is creating a shift in the public's perspective of transportation and expanding the idea that transportation intersects the two distinct realms of culture and environment as well. In addition, the overall design should reflect the Korean culture and characteristics, simple yet resonant, both the interior space and the exterior fuselage should portray the dynamic heritage of Korea such as the powerful yet subdued energy of Jung Joong Dong. In short, through the symbolic key words in Korean, Dong(Dynamics), Mek(Pulse), Ryu(Flow), Gam(Sensibility), the third generation KTX design project aims to create an new identity of Korean high speed railway which can stand globally.

중력식댐의 지진시 안전검토에 대한 뉴 패러다임 (New Paradigm on the Safety Check of Concrete Gravity Dams at Earthquake)

  • In the safety check of gravity dams at earthquake, there have been two types of analysis conducted simultaneously; one is stability analysis and the other stress analysis. But those are essentially the same calculation other than the former considers the dams rigid, while the latter considers the dams' dynamic characteristics which results in the amplification of response acceleration on the upper part of dam body. In this paper, the identity of those two methods is verified by example calculation in terms of stability check of gravity dam. It can be concluded that if stress analysis were performed, stability check of gravity dam could be accomplished with the results from stress analysis, removing unnecessary present dual calculation practice.

  • 2010년 Sood 등은 Wang 등의 인증 스킴이 여러 가지 보안 취약점을 가지고 있는 것을 지적하며 안전한 동적 ID 기반 인증 스킴을 제안하였다. 그러나 Sood 등이 제안한 동적 ID 기반 인증 스킴은 공격자가 통신하고 있는 두 당사자 사이에 끼어들어 당사자들이 교환하는 공개정보를 바꿈으로써 정당치 않은 세션 키가 생성되기 때문에 중간자 공격에 대한 취약성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Sood 등이 제안한 동적 ID 기반 인증 스킴을 분석하고, Sood 등의 인증 스킴이 중간자 공격에 안전하지 못함을 증명한다.

Research of Guochao Style in Chinese Virtual Idol Design

  • In recent years, the Guochao style of virtual idols has proliferated, and the virtual idol market in China has witnessed gradual growth. As Guochao combines traditional Chinese culture with modern aesthetics, it shapes a distinctive visual identity for Chinese virtual idols. We address the current research gap by exploring the characteristics of Guochao style in virtual idol design through literature analysis, semiotics, and comparative studies. We examine how Guochao virtual idols represent the convergence of Chinese culture and modern technology, reflecting cultural characteristics of the era. Through our analysis of virtual idol design, we identify key design features of Guochao virtual idols, bridging a theoretical void in this area. We propose recommendations to foster a more dynamic and culturally enriched virtual idol industry in China. Our research provides new insights into integrating Guochao elements into virtual idol design as an approach to differentiate amid competition while promoting traditional Chinese culture through digital media. We demonstrate how this design approach enhances the uniqueness and cultural value of Chinese virtual idols, contributing to the field's theoretical foundation and practical applications.

도시주변 면단위 행정구역의 지역 변화 -전라북도 조촌면을 사례로- (Regional Transformation in 'Myeon' Administrative District adjacent to Urban Area)

  • 행정구역으로서 '면(面)'은 자연적인 마을 단위와 가장 가까이에 접하고 있는 인위적인 행정구역이다. 시와 군단위의 행정구역명이 역사성이나 인식 측면에서 훨씬 광범위하지만, 면단위는 그 지역에 사는 사람에 한정되는 인식규모가 매우 적은 지리적 단위(범위)이며, 존속여부나 행정구역명의 변화가 가장 심한 행정구역 단위이다. 면단위에서의 지역 중심지가 확립된 것은 1917년 면사무소의 설치와 직접적으로 관련된다. 본 연구에서는 전라북도 전주시 조촌면(동)지역을 사례로 면단위 지역에서의 지리적 범위 변화와 지명(면명)의 변화 유형 및 의미하는 지역과 관계된 정체성, 면단위 지역규모에서 나타나는 지역 중심지의 형성과 그 요인을 살펴봤다. 조촌면의 지역 변화는 첫째, 전주시와 근접한 관계로 전주시의 팽창에 따른 편입 및 통합이 지리적 범위 변화에 많은 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 조촌면은 지명(면명)을 유지하고는 있지만, 그 지명이 의미하는 지리적 범위는 달라졌다. 셋째, 신작로와 철도역의 개설, 일본인의 농장 개설, 면사무소의 설치, 정기시장 개장의 과정을 통해서 면의 중심지가 형성되었다.
