  • Though polymer cement mortar is widely used to repair or reinforce concrete as it has superior adhesion, dense internal structure, chemical resistance, and workability in comparison to those of general cement mortar, studies on its behaviors in high temperature environment such as fire is urgently required. Accordingly, in this experiment, the degrees of reduction in the compressive strength at different temperatures was grasped applying ISO834 Heating Curve, and the effect of polymer content and type on compressive strength could be determined. As a result of this experiment, it is found that polymer type and content have a big effect on reduction of compressive strength in high temperature range, and not only the dynamic characteristics but also the combustion characteristics in high temperature range are required to be studied considering occurrence of a fire in the future.

  • In order to develop high voltage (HV) insulation materials, epoxy/spherical alumina composites with two different particle sizes (in ${\mu}m$) were prepared and a dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and electrical insulation breakdown strength test were carried out in sphere-sphere electrodes and the data were estimated using Weibull statistical analysis. Alumina content varied from 50 to 70 wt%. The electrical insulation breakdown strength for epoxy/alumina (50 wt%) was 44.0 kV/1 mm and this value decreased with increasing alumina content. The effects of insulation thickness and alumina particle size on the insulation breakdown strength were also studied. The insulation thickness varied from 1 mm to 3 mm, and the particle sizes were 7.3 or $40.3{\mu}m$.

  • The cure behaviors, dielectric characteristics and fracture toughness of diglycidylether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA)/poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) blend system were investigated. The degree of conversion for the DGEBA/PET blend system was measured using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The cure kinetics were investigated by measuring the cure activation energies ($E_a$) with dynamic differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The dielectric characteristic was examined by dielectric analysis (DEA). The mechanical properties were investigated by measuring the critical stress intensity factor ($K_{IC}$), critical strain energy release rate ($G_{IC}$), and impact strength test. As a result, DGEBAIPET was successfully blended. The Ea of the blend system was increased with increasing PET content to a maximum at 10 phr PET. The dielectric constant was decreased with increasing PET content. The mechanical properties of the blend system were also superior to those of the neat DGEBA. These results were attributed to the increased cross-linking density of the blend system, resulting from the interaction between the epoxy group of DGEBA and the carboxyl group of PET.

  • In this paper, we suggest a kernel level multi thread web accelerator (called the SCALA-AX), which significantly improves the performance of the web soerver. In comparison with a conventional proxy web cache that is generally called a caching server and a simple content-copy based system, the primary functions and goals of SCALA-AX are designed to maximize the content services of a front end web server with high performance. Specifically, the SCALA-AX runs on the kernel level of a web sorrel, based on the newest caching techniques. Moreover, the SCALA-AX supports the http 1.1 protocol and allows the dynamic pages as well as static pages to be processed.

  • As the introductory content of televison series, the opening titles are crucial for helping the audience quickly grasp the tone of the narrative. With the continuous integration of the televison production industry and digital computer technology, motion graphics, featuring its unique dynamic graphic design, offers new avenues for title sequence creation. This paper dives into the application of motion graphics in the title sequences of noir genre television series, analyzing aspects such as visual style, content presentation, and narrative expression. By comparing early static text title sequences with motion graphics ones, this paper reveals the advantages of motion graphics in designing opening titles for noir genre television series and examines how it enhances visual impact and improves audience experience. This study not only enriches the creative techniques for title sequence design, but also provides valuable insights for future creations.

  • In the context of exploring how Artificial Intelligence(AI) can revolutionize the entertainment industry, more and more film and television productions have begun to try to intervene AI technology in various aspects of content creation. However, despite the fact that AI can generate a large amount of textual content and dynamic visual effects, it still faces challenges in terms of plot expression and delivery. This thesis explores the strengths and weaknesses, innovations, and future developments of AI technology in plot production by analyzing existing film and television productions and production practices generated using AI technology. The study proves that as AI technology continues to improve, its use in short-form production will become more and more prevalent in the future, helping human creators become more efficient and even able to produce Short Dramas in full flow.

  • Recently, content-based music information retrieval (MIR) systems for mobile devices have attracted great interest. However, music retrieval systems are greatly affected by background noise when music is recorded in noisy environments. Therefore, we evaluated various pre-processing methods using the Philips method to determine the one that performs most robust music retrieval in such environments. We found that dynamic noise reduction (DNR) is the best pre-processing method for a music retrieval system in noisy environments.

  • This study employed the Eshelby's equivalent inclusion method incorporated with mean field theory to investigate the Internal stress of short fiber-reinforced metal matrix composites during static loading and the dynamic finite element analysis by using alternative unit cell model to investigate the impact behaviors during the impact loading. Using the 2124 Al-SiC system as an example, the general effects of parameters such as fiber's aspect ratio, content and modulus were examined.

  • The ultraviolet(UV)-curable materials are widely used in inks and coatings. In this paper is designed to develop materials having flexibility and functionality with UV-curable acrylate monomer and alkyd resin. At first, phase diagram is prepared for miscibility of UV -curable acrylate monomer with alkyd resin. Also the gel fraction and dynamic viscosity are measured to curing speed of mixing system. In results, it has been demonstrated that miscibility and curing speed are greatly influenced by alkyd resin content.
