  • 기업의 웹사이트가 비즈니스의 중요한 부분으로 정착되면서 급격히 증가한 웹사이트의 컨텐트를 관리하기 위한 CMS의 필요성이 급증하였다. 그러나 CMS의 출판은 기존의 출판 방식과 비교하여 추가적인 처리과정으로 인한 성능 저하의 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 기반 CMS의 효율적인 동적 웹 컨텐트 출판을 지원하기 위하여 XML 기반의 CMS의 출판에서 필요한 컨텐트 저장소로부터 XML 객체의 추출과 XSLT를 이용한 HTML 변환의 추가적인 처리과정을 전처리하여 컨텐트 컴포넌트를 생성 및 캐싱함으로써 효율적인 출판을 지원하고, 동적 컨텐트 캐싱의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 URL 패턴을 이용한 페이지와 컴포넌트의 그룹화 관리를 지원하는 출판 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 협력적 가상환경에서 이벤트의 내용에 기반한 동적 이벤트 통지 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 이벤트 송신자와 수신자 사이에 투명성을 제공하며, 다른 시스템에 영향을 주지 않고, 이벤트 수신자를 동적으로 추가, 삭제할 수 있는 노티파이어 모델을 구성한다. 시스템은 기본적인 이벤트 형태들을 정의하고, 다른 환경을 구성하고 있는 특정 응용에 독립적으로 동작하도록 하기 위해서 이벤트들을 XML로 표현한다. 본 시스템은 XML을 사용하여 이벤트를 표현하기 때문에 발생된 이벤트를 로그데이터에 저장할 수 있고, 로그 데이터를 사용하여 이벤트들을 검색하고 필터링할 수 있도록 하여 시스템의 효율성을 향상시켰다. 또한 사용자로 하여금 관심있는 이벤트들을 등록할 수 있도록 하여 필터링의 효율을 높였으며 XML 기반 애플리케이션뿐만 아니라 다른 가상환경의 애플리케이션들 사이의 상호 작용을 가능하게 하는 이벤트 통지 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • B2B registries provide spaces to register and retrieve information which is necessary to support B2B transactions among business partners or potential business partners. Business process specifications are one of important contents in B2B registries, and there is high complexity of representation due to complex and dynamic characteristics of business processes. Also, currently there exist several competing specification frameworks such as ebXML BPSS, WSBPEL, BPMN, and so on. This paper proposes a metadata schema to register business process specifications which are represented by different specification frameworks. The proposed schema has extensibility to register business process specifications which are represented by various different specification frameworks. Also, it extends reuse level from whole business specification processes to their components. To show the usefulness of the proposed schema, this paper demonstrates metadata extraction from business process specifications which are represented by two representative XML-based business process specification languages, ebXML BPSS and WSBPEL.

  • SDI(Selective Dissemination of Information) is on demand service to inform to the user applies a service after inputting a search strategy, when new information is obtained. This Paper propose the ways to develope the dynamic RSS channel generator for supporting SDI service. The RSS which is a kind of syndication technology enables a part or the whole of the content which it provides from web site to be able to be used in different service. It is protocol to summarize and share various contents on web site. Also, the users register the channel RSS to the RSS aggregator system and recommend it. It can drive to share of knowledge between researchers.

Case Study of Building Dynamic Homepage Using ActiveX Control Pad (ActiveX 컨트롤 패드를 이용한 동적홈페이지의 설계와 구현 사례)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand what is ActiveX control and how to utilize it in developing dynamic web pages. For this purpose, some literature survey and experimental practices with PC were done to understand the differences among web programming technologies such as visual basic, java, XML web services. In order to scrutinize the functions of ActiveX controls and the comparison of their technology with currently introduced XML web service, a study on the history of Internet programming with a focused view on ActiveX control was also performed. With the knowledge of the fore mentioned, Actual design and building experiments of web pages using ActiveX control pad were implemented. The results show that Microsoft ActiveX controls, formerly known as OLE controls or OCX controls, developed to compete with java applet in internet battle fields, turn out to be useful in software reusability, cost-saving and time-saving etc. However, the use of ActiveX controls has been confined in window platform, Overall, this study was useful for understanding the usage of ActiveX controls in web pages.

  • Because a quantity wireless internet contents is much less than wired internet contents, it exist high necessities that wired internet contents should be converted into wireless internet contents. The conversion server implemented in this paper, automatically recognizes the type of user agents when they request, retrieves source documents on the web site specified by an URL, generates metaXML documents as an intermediate form, and converts them wireless markup documents appropriate for user agents. The conversion server interoperates with the image converter for image conversion and the clipper which is an authoring tool for clipping existing wired internet documents. We performed experiments about capability of the conversion server transcoding static/dynamic web pages specified by an URL. According to performance results on dynamic web pages, the conversion server showed better throughput when a thread pool in the terror maintains 5 threads compared with 1 and 10 threads.

  • Nowadays, according to rapid development of computing environments, information processing and analysis system are very interesting research area. As a viewpoint of data preparation-processing-analysis in knowledge technology, the goal of automated information system is to satisfy high reliability and confidence and to minimize of human-administrator intervention. In addition, we expect the system which can deal with problem and abnormal error effectively as a fault detection and fault tolerance. In this paper, we design a monitoring system as follows. A productive monitoring information from various systems has unstructured forms and characteristics and crawls informative data by conditions and gathering rules. For representing of monitering information which requested by administrator, running-status can be able to check dynamically and systematic like connection/closed status in real-time. Our proposed system can easily correct and processing for monitoring information from various type of server and support to make objective judgement and analysis of administrator under operative target of information system. We implement semi-realtime monitering system using AJAX technology for dynamic browsing of web information and information processing using XML and XPATH. We apply our system to SMS server for checking running status and the system shows that has high utility and reliability.

  • The purpose of this paper is developing a PML server which is capable of saving and managing effectively the information of vehicles using RFID technology in the logistical and distributive environment. The PML server logs and manages the real-time static and dynamic information about the vehicles in EPC code format which is represented by XML schema and transmitted by the RFID reader to the server. It receives information from SAVANT the RFID middleware and transmits the data to the traffic information management application The main system we developed consists of the EPC data registry, query processor, data converter, vehicle product and instance data storage, system management tool and application API parts.

  • In this paper, we propose a 3D visualization system that expresses the simulation results of port container operation monitoring and planning in terms of the movements of the surrounding environment including static and dynamic objects. It also enables us to objectively evaluate the operation model by way of animating the actual port operations. With XML-based design of object states, the port simulator visualization system (PSVS) that we propose has been implemented so as to maximize the interoperability with the existing port operation simulation (CATOS), and express the realtime animation of large-scale objects. The design method of PSVS system is explained, and its validity is experimentally examined.

  • XML 언어로 설계된 SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language)은 멀티미디어 객체들의 순차적 혹은 병렬적 동기화를 효율적으로 할 수 있는 마크업 언어로써, web을 이용한 원격 강의나 홍보 등을 더욱 생성하고 dynamic하게 보여 줄 수 있어, 그 사용이 확대될 전망이다. 본 논문에서는 각종 웹 단말기에 손쉽게 embedding 될 수 있는 SMIL 프로세서에 대한 설계가 제안된다. 웹 응용을 위해, 속도의 개선과 시스템 독립적인 function들로 구성되는 parser와 응용에 적합한 API의 설계에 주안점을 두었으며, 추후 XML parser function들과 API 설계를 위해 가능한 적은 수정을 통하여 재사용이 가능하도록 하는데 또한 주안점을 두고 있다.
