취약계층을 위한 개인 이동체 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Personal Mobility for the Vulnerable Group)

  • A personal mobility withstanding function for the disabled and vulnerable groups with difficulties in mobility was developed and structural and dynamics analysis was conducted. Personal mobility devices are a very helpful means of transportation for the disabled and vulnerable groups. In addition, the standing function allows individuals to perform a difficult task in while seated and offers a medical advantage to the user. In this study, a personal mobility device was designed and developed to help vulnerable groups and disabled people overcome limited mobility, and communicate with the general people at eye level through standing functions. Through structural and dynamic analysis, the structural safety, optimal speed during rotation, and lateral acceleration of the personal mobility device was analyzed. The analysis results are expected to contribute to the improvement of the users' convenience and stability of personal mobility.

  • 헬스케어 응용 서비스를 위한 센서 네트워크는 사람 또는 이동성을 가진 사물을 주요 센싱 대상으로 한다. 이러한 센싱 대상들의 이동에 따른 노드간 상호작용을 지원하기 위해서는 노드의 동적 기능변경, 동적 자기구성, 에너지 효율성을 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 노드간 에이전트 전이를 통해 동적 기능 변경을 지원하는 Agilla 모델과 노드간 계층적 클러스터의 구성을 통한 동적 자기구성, 에너지 효율성을 보장하는 LEACH 프로토콜에 대해 분석 한다. 이 분석 결과를 기반으로 노드간 동적 기능변경을 지원하는 Mobility Agent Middleware를 설계하고, 기존 LEACH 프로토콜의 취약점인 노드 이동성을 보장하는 LEACH_Mobile 프로토콜을 제안한다. 또한 LRACH_Mobile 프로토콜을 지원하는 라우팅 모듈을 설계하고 Mobility Agent Middleware와의 연동을 위한 인터페이스를 설계하였다. 그리고 LEACH_Mobile 프로토콜의 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 이동 노드에 대한 데이터 전송 성공률의 명확한 성능 향상을 보여준다.

Analytical Study of the Impact of the Mobility Node on the Multi-channel MAC Coordination Scheme of the IEEE 1609.4 Standard

  • The most challenging issues in the multi-channel MAC of the IEEE 1609.4 standard is how to handle the dynamic vehicular traffic condition with a high mobility, dynamic topology, and a trajectory change. Therefore, dynamic channel coordination schemes between CCH and SCH are required to provide the proper bandwidth for CCH/SCH intervals and to improve the quality of service (QoS). In this paper, we use a Markov model to optimize the interval based on the dynamic vehicular traffic condition with high mobility nodes in the multi-channel MAC of the IEEE 1609.4 standard. We evaluate the performance of the three-dimensional Markov chain based on the Poisson distribution for the node distribution and velocity. We also evaluate the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) effect for the multi-channel MAC coordination scheme of the IEEE 1609.4 standard. The result of simulation proves that the performance of the dynamic channel coordination scheme is affected by the high node mobility and the AWGN. In this research, we evaluate the model analytically for the average delay on CCHs and SCHs and also the saturated throughput on SCHs.

The Importance of Financial Literacy: Household's Income Mobility Measurement and Decomposition Approach

  • This study introduced income mobility analysis using pseudo-longitudinal panel data from Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) to consider the dynamic process of individual's well-being through time. Since there is no comprehensive measurement of income mobility because of its dynamic process, various income mobility indices such as Chi-square, Average Jump Index, Atkinson et al. Mobility Ratio, and Shorrocks' Mobility Index were used. These indices revealed that Filipino households' income movements are more mobile than expected, and their income status improved from 2000 to 2015. As income mobility takes place, income inequality is reduced by 91.80 percent (91.80%). Furthermore, the growth effect is the main factor of income mobility. This indicates that households took the economic opportunities from economic growth to earn more. However, income mobility due to transfer effect (transfer of income from one household to another through lottery winning and borrowing) increased when the economy is not good. The higher income mobility due to growth effect compared to transfer effect, whether the economy is good or bad, means that households learned how to use their income in savings, investments, and entrepreneurship. This is the result of a successful financial literacy program of the government wherein households realized financial stability and security.

  • The multiple cooperating robot system plays an important role in the research of modern manufacturing system as the emphasis of production automation is more on the side of flexibility than before. While the kinematic and dynamic analysis of a single robot is performed as an open-loop chain, the dynamic formulation of robot in a multiple cooperating robot system differs from that of a single robot when the multiple cooperating robots form a closed kinematic chain holding an object simultaneously. The object may be any type from a rigid body to a multi-joint linkage. The mobility of the system depends on the kinematic configuration of the closed kinematic chain formed by robots and object, which also decides the number of independent input parameters. Since the mobility is not the same as the number of robot joints, proper constraint condition is sought. The constraints may be such that : the number of active robot joints is kept the same as mobility, all robot joints are active and have interrelations between each joint forces/torques, two robots have master-slave relation, or so on. The dynamic formulation of system is obtained. The formulation is based on recursive dual-number screw-calculus Newton-Eulerian approach which has been used for single robot analysis. This new scheme is recursive and compact symbolically and may facilitate the consideration of the object in real time.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 셀 내부 영역에 기반을 둔 이동성 예측 모델과 모바일 호스트들의 이동성을 토대로 하는 이동성 등급을 동적으로 조정할 수 있는 자원 예약 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 이동성 예측 모델은 셀 내부의 각각 다른 영역을 기반으로 가약 마코프 체인을 이용하여 모델링 하였으며, 새로운 방법으로 핸드오프 확률을 추정한다. 그리고 모바일 호스트들이 셀 내부에 머물 가능성이 있는 셀 내부 존재 시간을 제공하며, 그 셀 내부 존재 시간은 동적인 자원 예약 기법의 새로운 인자로 활용된다. 동적인 자원 예약 기법은 모바일 호스트들의 내부 존재 시간의 마감에 따라서 변화하는 이동성 등급을 이용하여 이웃 셀의 자원을 동적으로 예약한다. 이 기법들은 신규 호 블록킹율과 핸드 오프 호 종료율을 개선시켰다.

  • 최근 통합교통서비스(Mobility-as-a-Service)의 개념을 도입하여 이용자들의 이동성과 접근성을 향상시키고자 하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 카셰어링, 택시 등 에 대해 수요와 공급에 따라 지역을 구분하여 가격을 책정하는 유동적인 가격 책정 전략을 도입하여 단일 요금제가 가지는 서비스 기피 등의 문제를 해결함과 동시에 기업과 운전자들의 수익성에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 승객과 운전자간의 배차거리, 승객의 운행거리, 승객의 목적지에 대한 HDBSCAN 알고리즘을 통해서 정밀하게 인식된 수요 밀집지역, 승객과 운전자가 생각하는 선호가격을 고려하여 승객과 운전자의 입장에서 Matching Matrix를 생성한다. 이를 조합하고 보상에 반영하여, 강화학습이 더욱더 현실적인 유동적인 가격 책정전략을 도출할 수 있는 새로운 방법론을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, dynamic track tension fur high mobility tracked vehicle is investigated by multibody dynamic simulation techniques. This research focuses on a heavy military tracked vehicle which has sophisticated suspension and rubber bushed rack systems. In order to obtain accurate dynamic track tension of track subsystems, each track link is modeled as a body which has six degrees of freedom. A compliant bushing element is used to connect track links. Various virtual proving ground models are developed to observe dynamic changes of the track tension. Numerical studies of the dynamic track tension are validated against the experimental measurements. The effects of pre-tensions, traction forces, fuming resistances, sprocket torques, ground profiles, and vehicle speeds, for dynamic responses of track tensions are explored, respectively.

Adaptive Reversal Tree Protocol with Optimal Path for Dynamic Sensor Networks

  • In sensor networks, it is crucial to reliably and energy-efficiently deliver sensed information from each source to a sink node. Specifically, in mobile sink (user) applications, due to the sink mobility, a stationary dissemination path may no longer be effective. The path will have to be continuously reconfigured according to the current location of the sink. Moreover, the dynamic optimal path from each source to the sink is required in order to reduce end-to-end delay and additional energy wastage. In this paper, an Adaptive Reversal Optimal path Tree (AROT) protocol is proposed. Information delivery from each source to a mobile sink can be easily achieved along the AROT without additional control overhead, because the AROT proactively performs adaptive sink mobility management. In addition, the dynamic path is optimal in terms of hop counts and the AROT can maintain a robust tree structure by quickly recovering the partitioned tree with minimum packet transmission. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate that the AROT is a considerably energy-efficient and robust protocol.

Effect of boundary mobility on nonlinear pulsatile-flow induced dynamic instability of FG pipes

  • In practical engineering such as aerial refueling pipes, the boundary of the fluid-conveying pipe is difficult to be completely immovable. Pipes under movable and immovable boundaries are controlled by different dominant nonlinear factors, where the boundary mobility will affect the nonlinear dynamic characteristics, which should be focused on for adopting different strategies for vibration suppression and control. The nonlinear dynamic instability characteristics of functionally graded fluid-conveying pipes lying on a viscoelastic foundation under movable and immovable boundary conditions are systematically studied for the first time. Nonlinear factors involving nonlinear inertia and nonlinear curvature for pipes with a movable boundary as well as tensile hardening and nonlinear curvature for pipes with an immovable boundary are comprehensively considered during the derivation of the governing equations of the principal parametric resonance. The stability boundary and amplitude-frequency bifurcation diagrams are obtained by employing the two-step perturbation- incremental harmonic balance method (TSP-IHBM). Results show that the movability of the boundary of the pipe has a great influence on the vibration amplitude, bifurcation topology, and the physical meanings of the stability boundary due to different dominant nonlinear factors. This research has guidance significance for nonlinear dynamic design of fluid-conveying pipe with avoiding in the instability regions.
