크랭크 각 기준의 엔진 제어시스템 설계.제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Development of an Engine Control System Based on Crank Angle)

  • A crank angle-based engine control system has been developed for use as an engine research tool to provide precise control of the fuel injection(timing and duration) and ignition(timing and dwell) in real-time. The engine event information is provided by the engine shaft encoder, and the engine control system uses this information to generate spark and injector control signals for relevant cylinders. Eight different engine types and four different rotary encoder resolutions can be accommodated by this system. Also this system allows a user to individually control the ignition and fuel injection for each cylinder in a simple manner such as through a keyboard or in a real-time operation from a closed-loop control program.

잉크젯 헤드를 이용한 액적 토출 현상의 실험적 분석 (Experimental Analysis of Droplet Formation Process for Inkjet Printhead)

  • Jetting stability is the most important factors in inkjet printing because printing quality is totally determined by shape of the droplets on the substrate. In order to acquire stable jet, viscosity and dynamic behavior of the ink must be considered. In addition, waveform to drive the inkjet printhead is also to be controlled. In this study, the driving waveform composed of rising time, dwell time and falling time is optimized to obtain a stable jetting using drop watcher system. Also, effect of ink viscosity on jetting is experimentally investigated by changing the temperature of ink cartridge. As a result, jetted drop having uniform velocity is acquired.

  • This paper presented an experiment which examined eye and hand movement characteristics of novice and experienced workers in the press operation. Continuous recordings of eye and hand movements were made on five novice operators and five experienced operators in press operation. Significant difference between the novice and the experienced operators was observed in eye fixation time, eye movement patterns, hand dwell time, and eye-hand coordination. Also, differences were observed in spatial distribution of eye fixations during the die-closing portion of a stroke. There were no significant differences between the novice and the experiencedoperators in the eye and the hand movement time. The results could be used to establish a guide determining the method and training period to train the novice operators.

$Al_2O_3$ 세라믹의 미세구멍 가공에 관한 연구 (A study on the micro hole machining of Al2O3 ceramics)

  • This paper describes result of experiment of parameters affecting the micro hole drilling time, kind of assisting gas and it's pressure. The result reveals that parameter value of 0.08J, 20Hz, dwell time of 300 microseconds can be a good machining condition to make micro hole diameter range of 50-70${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, Assistant gas such air, O2, Ar, N2 was adapted. Assistant gas of air makes heat affected zone enlarge due to burning of material, also it makes hole irregular and damage because of refusion stick to caused by chemical reaction with Al2O3 ceramic material. O2(99.9%) has good characteristic to get good drilling and smooth surface on pressure of 0.2kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, but it is expensive. Ar, N2 makes material burn and crack severely and proved to be an appropriate but, Ar was better than N2.

  • In an attempt to optimize friction spot joining process of Al alloys for automobiles, Friction spot joining was used make lap feint on strips of AA5052-H32 and AA6022-T4 aluminium alloy. The effects of joining parameters such as tool rotating speed, plunging depth, joining time and kind of upper plate on the joints properties were investigated. An optimal tensile shear strength parameter of a tool rotating speed of 1000rpm, dwell time 2.5sec with upper plate 6022 can be found to make a good joint.

  • In this study, we address the formation control problem of coupled unicycle-type mobile robots, each of which can interact with its neighboring robots by communicating their position outputs. Each communication link between two mobile robots is assumed to be established according to the given time-varying interconnection topology that switches within a finite set of connected fixed undirected networks and has a non-vanishing dwell time. Under this setup, we propose a distributed formation control algorithm by using the dynamics extension and feedback linearization methods, and by employing a consensus algorithm for linear multi-agent systems which provides arbitrary fast convergence rate to the agreement of the multi-agent system. Finally, the proposed result is demonstrated through a computer simulation.

  • Recently, the application of electronics in vehicle is increasing, in order to assess the reliability of the electronics, highly accelerated life test is used, highly accelerated life test can assess the reliability of the electronics in the short time. In this study, optimized HALT technique can be applied to the electronics is proposed. The main results are as follows; i) HALT is proceed to the 8-step process. ii) The test mode of HALT is composed of the cold step stress, hot step stress, vibration step stress and combined environments stress. iii) The time dwell is set to at least 20 minutes.

  • In mobile ad-hoc networks(MANETs), nodes are mobile and network topology changes very frequently. The mobility of nodes does affect the system performance. There has been considerable attention on the mobility models, however, most work is confined to the simulation or test-bed. In this paper, we propose an analytical method to evaluate the performances of MANETs such as the average radio range dwell time of mobile nodes, link holding time, and transmission failure probability considering the node's mobility. In the proposed model, MANETs consist of the multi-hop and multicasting routing paths. A simulation is done to validate our proposed analytical model.

인간공학적 조종실 설계를 위한 계기 탐색 형태에 관한 연구 (Investigation of the visual search patterns of the cockpit displays for the ergonomic cockpit design)

  • There are many display panels in the flight cockpit and pilots get various flight information from those displays. The ergonomic layout of the displays must be determined based upon frequency of use and sequence of use. This study investigated the visual search patterns of the six display groups(one head-up-display: HUD, two multi function displays: MFDs, one engine group: EG, one flight display group: FD and others) in a fighting aircraft. Four expert pilots conducted Imaginary flight in the physical mock-up and the eye movements were collected using eye tracking system. Data of dwell time, frequency of use, and eye movement path were collected. Pilots spent most of time on HUD(55.2%), and others (21.6%), FD(14.2%), right MFD(4.7%), EG(3.2%), and left MFD(1.1%) in descending order. Similarly HUD(42.8%) and others(30.0%) were the most frequently visited displays. These data can be used in the layout of cockpit displays and the determination of optimal visual search pattern.

EP 레이더의 D&S PRI와 Stagger PRI 신호식별 알고리즘 (A Novel Algorithm for Deinterleaving of D&S PRI and Stagger PRI Signals from the EP Radar)

  • 본 논문에서는 전자전시스템을 사용하여 전자보호(EP) 레이더에서 송신되는 D&S PRI(pulse repetition interval) 신호와 스태거(stagger) PRI 신호를 신속하게 분석하는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 기존의 PRI 신호분석 방법은 레이더 펄스신호들의 도착시간(TOA)의 1차 차분을 이용하여 통계적인 방법으로 PRI 패턴을 분석하였으나 본 논문에서는 펄스신호들의 TOA 1차 차분과 2차 차분을 이용하여 다양한 PRI 패턴을 빠른 시간에 분석할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 다양한 EP 레이더 PRI 신호들을 모의해서 송신한 후에 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘으로 신호식별을 수행한 결과 고정 PRI, 지터 PRI, D&S PRI, 스태거 PRI 등 다양한 PRI 신호들에 대한 식별능력이 우수하여 EP 레이더의 신호식별에 매우 유용하게 사용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
