In this paper, we first show the weak convergence of the modified Ishikawa iteration process with errors of two total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings, which generalizes the result due to Khan and Fukhar-ud-din [1]. Next, we show the strong convergence of the modified Ishikawa iteration process with errors of two total asymptotically nonexpansive mappings satisfying Condition ($\mathbf{A}^{\prime}$), which generalizes the result due to Fukhar-ud-din and Khan [2].
Mathematization is cognitive process of empirical phenomena into mathematics. The article shows that mathematization is an fundamental element in the process of westernization and the difference between the East and tile West is due to the existence of mathematics.
In this paper, scheduling problem is dealt for the minimization of due date penalty for the customer order. Multiproduct batch processes have been dealt with for their suitability for high value added low volume products. Their scheduling problems take minimization of process operation for objective function, which is not enough to meet the customer satisfaction and the process efficiency simultaneously because of increasing requirement of fast adaptation for rapid changing market condition. So new target function has been suggested by other researches to meet two goals. Penalty function minimization is one of them. To present more precisely production scheduling, we develop new scheduling model with penalty function of earliness and tardiness We can find many real cases that penalty parameters are divergent by the difference between the completion time of operation and due date. That is to say, the penalty parameter values for the product change by the customer demand condition. If the order charges different value for due date, we can solve it with the due date period. The period means the time scope where penalty parameter value is 0. If we make use of the due date period, the optimal sequence of our model is not always same with that of fixed due date point. And if every product have due date period, due date of them are overlapped which needs optimization for the maximum profit and minimum penalty. Due date period extension can be enlarged to makespan minimization if every product has the same abundant due date period and same penalty parameter. We solve this new scheduling model by simulated annealing method. We also develop the program, which can calculate the optimal sequence and display the Gantt chart showing the unit progress and time allocation only with processing data.
In generally speaking, the purpose of Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) is to give the environment its due place in the decision-making process by clearly ealuating the environmental consequence of a proposed activity before action is taken. The introduction of conventional EIA is to be seen as an end product of a very long evolutionary process, starting with rudimentary but evolving pollution control measures for air, water, noise, land and chemicals, each governed by separate, and separately administered pieces of legislation. In EIA process, the measures of status, scoping, proposed mitigation and communication have not been very quantitative in their significancy. Of course, the determinations have uncertainity in the implications for significant impacts. To improve the determination of significant impacts, some more comprehensive methodologies of EIA has been proposed with the concepts of risk analysis in the proposed projects. The concepts of risk analysis has been introduced to the expression of human health impairment due to environmental pollutants since the early 1980's. The risk analysis being meant by the statistical significance of impact has a process quantitatively considering uncertainities and importances of ecological systems and human health as well. The process of risk analysis shows assessment, doseresponse in toxicity, exposure assessment and risk characterization. With the risk assessment, it could be suggested for the proper measurements against their anticipated risk in the EIA. This paper deals the priciples developing process and application of the risk-based analysis in EIA.
In this research program special triaxial compression tests and dehydration-swelling tests under the condition of freeze-thaw process were conducted to show the effects of freezethaw process on the physical properties of weathered granite soil, and their results as follows; 1.Consolidation settlement of weathered granite soil mass was increased due to freeze-thaw process, and the initial tangent coefficient of dense state was higher than that of loose state. 2.Compression behaviour of soil was increased according to the decrease of freezing temperature, and when the freezing temperature was reached under - 10$^{\circ}$C, the compression rate was not influenced by change of freezing temperature. 3.The experiments showed that the void ratio and permeability of soil were converged into their values of shrinkage limit, and the permeability was higher due to the freeze-thaw process and as the lower the freezing temperature. 4.The decrease of liquid limit was indicated as the lower the freezing temperature, and as more the freeze4haw cycles, the moisture content was shown the lower side. 5.It was shown that the shrinkage was decreased by freeze-thaw process and not influenced by way of freezing temperature, but dehydration rate was higher.
Shrinkage is inevitable in the curing of resins during the nanoimprint process. The degree of shrinkage that occurs as the resin transforms from a viscous liquid to solid differs depending on the type of resin. However, if the cured material is repeatedly cured using the same material, constant shrinkage can be confirmed. In this study, the pattern of change was observed by repeatedly performing the nanoimprint process using a resin with a constant shrinkage rate. The observed pattern for the change of shape was made using a triangular pyramid-shaped aluminum master mold and a flexible replica mold made from the master. Shrinkage that results from the nanoimprint process occurs linearly in the longitudinal direction of the pattern and can be predicted by simple calculations. The change of the pattern due to shrinkage occurred as expected. If the shrinkage rate remains constant, various patterns can be manufactured with high accuracy by correcting these changes before producing a specific shape. This study confirms that the pattern of the desired angle can be obtained by performing the repeated imprint without having to manufacture a master mold.
The development of the equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) process in metals has recently provided a feasible solution to produce ultra-fine or nano-grained bulk materials with tailored material properties. However, ECAP process is difficult to scale up commercially due to requirements of an excessive load. In this paper, a new Hybrid-ECAP process with torsional die is considered to obtain materials of ultra-fine grain structure under low forming load. An upper bound analysis and numerical simulation (DEFORM 3D, a commercial FEM code) are carried out on the torsional die. By the upper bound analysis, analytical expression for the compression force and rotation speed are obtained. By the FEM analysis, the distribution of strain, stress and deformation are obtained. These results show that the Hybrid-ECAP is a useful process because this process can obtain the homogeneous deformations with relatively low forming load. Additionally, due to decreased forming load, die life can be improve.
A curing process in post-printing section of R2R process is required for an electrical property of the printed pattern when devices such as RFID, Solar cell are printed. PEN as well as heat-stabilized PET which is used as a plastic substrate would be deformed at high temperature due to change of its elastic modulus. And crack in the printed pattern, which is on the plastic substrate is occurred due to the deformation of the substrate. The occurrence of crack causes electrical resistance to increase and the quality of the device to deteriorate. In case of RFID antenna, the range of reading distance is shortened as the electrical resistance of the antenna is increased. Therefore, the deformation of the plastic substrate, which causes the occurrence of crack, should be minimized by setting up low operating tension in R2R process. In low tension, slippage between a moving substrate and a roller would be generated when the operating speed is increased. And scratch would be occurred when slippage is generated due to an air entrainment, which is related to the thickness of the air film. The thickness of the air film is increased when operating speed is increased as shown by simulation based on mathematical model. The occurrence of scratch in conductive pattern printed by roll to roll process is a critical damage because it causes degradation or failure of electrical property of it.
This paper discusses the problem of extraordinary delay in the commercial arbitration process, increased arbitration fees, and denial of the benefits of arbitration to other parties due to the abuse of procedural rights by relevant parties in commercial arbitration process. This paper proposes measures to reduce abuse of process in commercial arbitration, such as statutory modification, judicial supervision, amendment of arbitration rules and the intervention of disciplinary bodies.
Ununited Anconeal Process (UAP) is defined as a disease of young dogs due to developmental abnormality in which there is a seperation of the anconeal process from the diaphysis of the ulna, leading to a front leg lameness and secondary osteoarthritis. A six -year-old German Shepherd dog was presented because of intermittent right front leg lameness. Diagnosis was made of ununited anconeal process with moderate osteoarthritis by radiographic examination. Surgical removal of ununited anconeal process and curettage of osteoarthritic growth within the elbow joint relieved significant clinical signs despite of size and age of the dog.
