Centrifugal Fan 송풍기의 진동.소음 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the Characteristics of a Centrifugal Fan Vibration and Noise)

  • 본 연구에서는 Fig.1에 보인 바와 같이 원심휀이 부착된 실내 에어콘을 대상 으로 하여 원심휀의 진동.소음 특성을 연구하였다. Fig.2에서 보인바와 같이 원심휀 은 전기 모터 축에 커플링 되어 있으며 원심휀의 회전으로 발생된 공기유동은 연결된 덕트 시스템(duct system)을 통해 외부로 방출 된다. 이와 같은 송풍시스템에서 발 생하는 진동.소음은 크게 구조물 진동에 의한 구조물진동소음과 공기유동 자체에서 발 생하는 공기유동소음으로 구별된다. 본 연구는 실험적 연구를 통하여 이들 진동. 소 음원의 주파수 특성과 전체 소음에의 기여도 등을 규명하였다.

  • The cross-flow fan which constitutes a fan-duct system with a stabilizer and a scroll casing is widely used in many air-ventilating and air-conditioning devices. Its ooperating points of high efficiency and loading conditions frequently induce a annoying sharp tonal component of discrete frequency on the noise spectrum, which is open called as a BPF(Blade-Passing-Frequency) noise and degrades the sound quality of the devices. this BPF tone has been one of the defects of the cross-flow fan. This study proposes two methods in order to reduce this tonal noise component, which are the random distributions of the fan blades and the skewed shapes of the stabilizer. The proposed methods are verified by a simple analytical model and are applied in manufacturing the cross-flow fan and the stabilizer samples. Some experiments are carried out to verify the reduction capability of BPF tones of above two schemes and the experimental results are analyzed. The comparison between two method is also carried out.

적응 능동소음제어를 위한 오차경로 인식 방법을 통한 filtered-X LMS 알고리듬 (A Filtered-X LMS Algorithm by New Error Path Identification Method for Adaptive Active Noise Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 적응 능동소음제어를 위한 새로운 오차경로 인식 방법을 통한 filtered-X LMS(least mean square) 알고리듬을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리듬에서는 3개의 마이크로폰과 이중루프제어를 이용하여 오차경로의 전달 특성을 온라인으로 정확히 인식하도록 하였다. 덕트를 통한 소음이 정형파인 경우와 실제 공조기의 소음에 대하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 각각 수행한 결과, 제안한 방식은 입력소음에 비하여 각각 평균 29.1dB 및 10.4dB 정도의 소음레벨이 감쇠됨을 확인하였다. 이는 Eriksson의 방법보다 각각 평균 0.5dB 및 2.5dB 정도 개선된 것이다.

  • A method of measuring the transmission loss of silencer using two microphone technique is described. Two microphone methol is used to elliminate the measurement error due to reflected wave spectra in inlet/outlet duct of silencer. Errors associated with the measurement method are studied. Henceforth the methods to effectively supress the influence are presented. Based on these considertions, the appropriate procedure of experimental set-up to measure the transmission loss a silencer is described with experimental verifications.

  • Usually ship is propelled by the conventional propeller. When the conventional propeller is used for ship's propulsion, reduction of propeller noise is big issue in some special vessel. In order to reduce the acoustic noise of the propeller, novel propulsion system named as MHD propulsion system has been studied among researchers. In this paper, thruster characteristic analysis and system analysis of MHD propulsion system have been carried out. Firstly basic experimental apparatus is designed, fabricated and installed and test is carried out. Test results are compared with numerical analysis. It is confirmed that test results agreed with numerical results satisfactorily.

  • In general, 4-pole parameter and three-point method are used for predicting transmission loss which is one of characteristics of Muffler using CAE tools. However, these mehtods show different results from experiment when the flow effects are presented in practical model. In this parer, to overcome these problems, both Fluent and.Sysnoise are used to analyze the performance of extended inlet/outlet muffler including flow effects with varying flow velocity at inlet of duct. Flow fields and quadrupole source is calculated by Fluent. And Sysnoise is used to analyze acoustic performances of muffler with quadrupole source data extracted from Fluent. Finally, the variation of transmission loss is estimated according to various inlet flow velocity.

  • The acoustical properties of multi-layered treatments of materials used in applications, such as automotive liners, generally cannot be directly measured by a one-time test in a standing wave duct. Therefore, we have to consider predicting them by the four-pole transfer matrix method. This method requires performing TCM or TLM for measuring the transfer matrix of each layer and calculating the total transfer matrix of the whole multi-layered material. The final predicted absorption ratios and transmission losses of the multi-layered treatments strongly depend on the measured transfer matrix of each layer. All these functions have been included in a new designed acoustical software.

  • 터보팬엔진등에서 발생하는 음장의 특징은 지배적인 음향모드 구조를 가진다는 점이다. 이러한 구조를 파악 해내는 것은 소음원을 찾아내고 그 소음원의 전파를 규명하여 소음을 저감하는데 중요한 기여를 할 수 있다. 음향모드의 검출을 위해서 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔으며 센서의 이용방식에 따라 원음장에서의 측정법, 회전형 갈퀴 (rotating rake)를 이용한 측정법, 덕트내 벽면에 센서를 분포시키는 측정법으로 나눌 수 있다. 이중 벽면에 센서를 위치시키는 방법은 다른 방법에 비해 빠르게 측정결과를 얻을 수 있으며 측정장치가 간단하다는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 이 방법의 단점으로 여겨져 왔던 많은 수의 센서를 줄이는 새로운 센서 배치에 대해 기술하였으며 측정하고자 하는 주파수에 존재하는 전체 모드의 개수와 비교하여 최소한의 센서 개수를 설명하였다.

공명기 배열을 이용한 중속 디젤엔진 배기 소음기의 저주파수 대역 성능 개선 연구 (A Study on the Performance Improvement of Medium Speed Diesel Engine Exhaust Silencer in the Low-frequency Range Using Array Resonators)

  • Various acoustic tests were carried out to investigate the acoustic performance of diesel engine exhaust silencers. In order to consider flow effects, the test facility was set up composed of fan, duct and silencer. Using the test facility, insertion loss tests were carried out to improve the acoustic performance in the low-frequency ranges. Through a series of tests, it was found out that the array resonators having multi-perforated holes inside the exhaust silencer, might be very effective in the low frequency range. Consequently, the hybrid-type silencer which is the combination of reflective silencer with array resonators and conventional absorptive silencer, was proposed and its high performance in the low-frequency range was also verified.
