듀얼 서보모터 구동형 프레스 시스템의 동기화 제어기법 연구 (A Study on Synchronization Control Technique of Dual-Servo Press System)

  • In this paper, a synchronization control technique of dual-servo motor driven press system is proposed. An independent cascade PID control technique has been applied to the conventional press system for advancement of control stability. However, it is not easy to reduce synchronous error using the independent cascade PID control technique when some different load disturbances are involved in each motor. The eccentric error of the slide caused by the problem degrade the control performance of the BDC(Bottom Dead Center). In order to achieve reduction of the synchronous error between two servo motors and accurate position control simultaneously, a new control scheme comprised with cascade PID control loop and cross-coupling loop is proposed. In simulation using Matlab SIMULINK, the AC servo system is designed. The control performance of proposed technique is compared with conventional control technique to the model of AC servo system. Also, the sub-scale model of dual-servo motor driven press system which can replicate the slide motion is constructed for experimental verification for the performance of the proposed control technique. The cross-coupling control technique reveals more precise and stable performances in the position and synchronization controls.

대칭구조 철심형 리니어모터 이송계에서의 코깅현상에 관한 연구 (Investigation of Cogging Effect in Bisymmetric Dual Iron Core Linear Motor Stage)

  • This paper presents bisymmetric dual iron core lineal motor stage for heavy-duty high precision applications such as large area micro-grooving machines or high precision roll die machines. In this stage, two iron core linear motors are installed in laterally symmetric way to cancel out the attractive forces. Main focus was given to analyzing the effect of cogging force and moment for two different layouts, which are symmetric and half-pitch shifted ones. Experimental results showed that the symmetric layout is more adequate for high precision applications because of its clear moment cancellation effect. It was also verified that the effect of the residual cogging moment can be suppressed further by increasing the bearing stiffness. One problem of the symmetric layout is added cogging force which hinders smooth motion, but its effect was relatively small compared with that of moment cancellation.

  • Fundamental positioning characteristics of a dual-axis Sawyer linear motor are described. The Sawyer motor is capable of high positional accuracy. An electronic control unit of the motor whose velocity is proportional to the frequency of the electric current was produced in our laboratory. The positioning system was constructed using two Sawyer motors, an air bearings suspension unit and an electronic control unit. The stable motion of the motor was confirmed on the open loop operation. The adjustable operating conditions were the live load of 1 kg, the maximum acceleration of 1.2G and the maximum velocity of 350 mm/s. Absolute positioning accuracy was improved within .+-.5.mu.m, on microstep operating conditions of dividing one pitch of 508.mu.m into 508 steps. The following two conclusions were obtained. An accelerating-cruising-decelerating control is effective for reduction in the travel time required. Also, microstep operation is effective for improving the resolution of position.

  • 고체 추진 로켓 내부 연소실의 비정상 유동을 수치적으로 해석하였다. 완전 보존식을 이용하여 2 차원 축-대칭 연소실 안의 연소 불안정을 해석하기 위한 수치 기법을 구성하였는데 비정상 유동을 해석하기 위한 수정된 $\kappa$-$\varepsilon$ 난류 모델이 사용되었다. 이산화한 지배 방정식은 연관된 경계 조건을 포함하여 dual time-stepping 방법으로 시적분 하였다. 정상 상태의 계산을 기반으로 연소실 내의 천이 압력파의 비정상 상태를 수치적으로 모사하기 위하여 압력 펄스 및 압력 변동을 연소실 상단에 부과하였다. 로켓 모터 연소실 내의 다양한 정상 상태 및 비정상 상태의 특성을 계산 및 해석하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 이종추진제가 적용된 고체추진기관의 추력성능을 예측하기 위한 수치적인 방법을 정립하고 이를 바탕으로 내탄도 해석 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 검증하기 위해 이종추진제가 적용된 시험용 고체추진기관을 제작하여 연소시험을 수행하였다. 고체추진기관의 시험결과와 해석결과를 비교하여 개발된 내탄도 해석 프로그램의 정확성 및 적용가능성을 확인하였다.

  • It is complicate to analysis the systems, dual mode hybrid systems, because they are composed of many planetary gear sets. For the performance test, it needs to define the systems with representative parameters. In this paper, system parameters, $\alpha$, $\beta$, $\zeta$, are introduced to define the systems, and an arbitrary system like E-IVT developed by Renault Motors is converted to the general system having equivalent parameters, such as $\beta'$, $R'_b$. Pontryagin principle and Kuhn-Tucker condition method are applied to solve the constrained problems, by which the methodology for accelerating test is generalized, and the results of the simulation are reported. In addition, the effects of alternative strategies are mentioned. The method of fuel economy test at engine mode is also introduced. The results of test at engine mode is different from the results of optimal trajectory, but the fuel economy of the engine mode is related to the highway driving and optimized operating of the system.

  • 본 연구에서는 $360^{\circ}$의 조향 기능을 갖는 듀얼 구동식의 선박 접이안 시스템 개발에 대해 다룬다. 대형 선박의 경우, 부두에 접이안시 bow thruster, side thruster, pod propulsor 등이 사용되고 있으나 최근 해양레저선박이 대형화(슈퍼요트 등)됨에 따라 마리나 시설을 이용할 경우 접이안시 선박 대 선박, 선박 대 계류시설과의 사고가 증가 추세에 있다. 따라서, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 듀얼 구동식 추진체를 이용하여 접이안이 가능한 시스템에 대해 연구를 수행하였다. 주요 내용은 조이스틱을 이용한 선수, 선미의 듀얼 구동과 마그네틱 기어를 이용한 동력 전달이다. 조이스틱에서 두 구동 모터 및 프로펠러로 이어지는 제어 응답성을 확인하고, 전자기 설계를 통한 마그네틱 기어 제작 및 시험으로 수중 추진기에 회전력을 전달 가능한 토크를 확보하였다. 또한, 실해상 시운전을 통하여 개발 시스템의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • In order to evaluate the effect of permanent softening behavior on springback prediction, 2D-draw bending simulations were compared with experiments for friction stir welded DP590 steel sheets. To account fur the nonlinear hardening behavior, the combined isotropic-kinematic hardening law was utilized with and without considering the permanent softening behavior during reverse loading. Also, the non-quadratic orthotropic yield function, Yld2000-2d, was used to describe the anisotropic initial-yielding behavior of the base sheet while anisotropic properties of the weld zone were ignored for simplicity.

  • 24V DC power system of commercial vehicle includes 28V alternator and 24V battery bank (two 12V battery bank in series). BEQ(Battery Equalizer) provides efficient and reliable 12V DC power to 12V electrical load in 24V DC power system. In addition to providing 12V DC power, BEQ ensures that battery voltages remain equal which extends battery life. It is the most cost effective and efficient solution for dual voltage systems. BEQ made by Hyundai MOBIS is specifically designed to provide reliable 12V DC power for 12V ABS(Anti-lock Brake system).

  • In this study, we present a mobile robot for ultrasonic scanning of weldment. magnetic Caterpillar mechanism is selected in order to travel on the inclined surface and vertical wall. A motion control board and motor driver are developed to control four DC-servo motors. A virtual device driver is also developed for the purpose of communicating between the control board and a host PC with Dual 'port ram. To provide the mobile robot with stable and accurate movement, PID control algorithm is applied to the mobile robot control. And a vision system for detecting the weld-line are developed with laser slit beam as a light source. In the experiments, movement of the mobile robot is tested inclined on a surface and a vertical wall.
