The purpose of the study was to investigate the wife and husband role division in household financial management between dual-income household and single-income household. Household financial management included the following five categories: financial planning, consumption/expenditure management, savings/investment management, risk management and credit management. Data for this research was collected through 610 married women living in Seoul, Korea. Using SAS-PC program, Chi-square and t-test Analyses were executed. The results showed that dual- and single-income households tend to have different perspectives on marital role division in household management. Wives of dual-income households had more significant roles in financial management rather than wives of single income households. Especially, wives of dual-income managed more active credit management and saving/investment management. On the other hand, wives of single-income households played a major role in making decision over cheap items than that of wives of dual-income household.

In this work we compared the electrical characteristic of single gate and dual gate in MIC-TFT. We fabricated p-channel TFTs based on MIC structure. In mobility, dual gate ($61.35cm^2/Vsec$) got a higher value than single gate ($55.96cm^2/Vsec$). In $I_{on}/I_{off}$ dual gate ($6.94{\times}10^6$) got a higher value than single gate ($1.72{\times}10^6$) too. In $I_{off}$, dual gate got a lower value than single gate. Therefore, dual gate is good and less power consumption than single gate.

In this work, we consider constacyclic and cyclic self-dual codes over the rings $R_k$. We start with theoretical existence results for constacyclic and cyclic self-dual codes of any length over $R_k$ and then construct cyclic self-dual codes over $R_1={\mathbb{F}}_2+u{\mathbb{F}}_2$ of even lengths from lifts of binary cyclic self-dual codes. We classify all free cyclic self-dual codes over $R_1$ of even lengths for which non-trivial such codes exist. In particular we demonstrate that our constructions provide a counter example to a claim made by Batoul et al. in [1] and we explain why their claim fails.

The electronically controlled diesel engine was converted to dual fuel engine system. Test engine was set up for investigating the power output, thermal efficiency and emissions. ND 13-mode tests were employed for the engine test cycle. The emission result of dual fuel mode meets Euro-4 (K2006) regulation and the engine performance of dual fuel engine was comparable to the performance of diesel engine. To estimate economical efficiency, test vehicles have been operated on a certain driving route repeatedly. Fuel economy, maximum driving distance per refueling and driveability were examined on the road including free ways. Developed vehicle can be operated over 500 km with dual fuel mode and shows 80% of diesel substitution ratio. Driveability of dual fuel mode is similar with that of diesel mode.

In this paper a dual-band circularly polarized stacked microstrip antenna for Global Positioning System (GPS) service and Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) service is designed. By stacking two different corner-truncated square microstrip patches, dual-band, dual polarization characteristic is obtained. Experimental results show impedance bandwidth of 60 MHz (3.8%) and axial ratio bandwidth of 6 MHz (0.4%) in GPS and impedance bandwidth of 126 MHz (4.7%) and axial ratio bandwidth of 30MHz (1.1%) in DMB.

The study on dual arm robot manipulator which consists of two 6-DOF srms and one 2-DOF torso is introduced. This dual arm robot manipulator is designed for automation of assembly process in automotive manufacturing line. Each industrial 6-DOF arm can be used as a stand-alone type of industrial robot manipulator with 6-DOF and as a manipulator part of dual arm robot at the same lime. These structures help the robot maker willing to succeed in emerging market of dual arm robots have the high competitive power for the current industrial robot market and the emerging market of dual arm robot at the same time. The research results of the design concept, workspace analysis and the PC-based controller will be introduced.

Dual arm manipulators have been developed for the entertainment purpose such as humanoid type or the industrial application such as automatic assembly. Nowadays, there are some issues for applying the dual arm robot system into the various fields. Especially, robots can substitute human and perform the dangerous activity such as search and rescue in the battle field or disaster. In the paper, the dual arm manipulator which can be adapted to the rescue robot with the mobile platform was developed. The kinematic design was proposed for the rescue activity and the required specification was determined through the kinematic analysis and the dynamic analysis in the various conditions. The proposed dual arm manipulator was manufactured based on the vibration analysis result and its performance was proved by the experiment.

Terahertz dual-band frequency selective surface filters made by perforating two different rectangular holes in molybdenum have been designed, fabricated and measured. Physical mechanisms of the dual-band resonant responses are clarified by three differently configured filters and the electric field distribution diagrams. The design process is straightforward and simple according to the physical concept and some formulas. Due to the weak coupling between the two neighboring rectangle holes with different sizes in the unit cell, good dual-band frequency selectivity performance can be easily achieved both in the lower and higher bands by tuning dimensions of the two rectangular holes. Three samples are fabricated, and their dual-band characteristics have been demonstrated by a THz time-domain spectroscopy system. Different from most commonly used metal-dielectric structure or metal-dielectric-metal sandwiched filters, the designed dual-band filters have advantages of easy fabrication and low cost, the encouraging results afforded by these filters could find their applications in dual-band sensors, THz communication systems and other emerging THz technologies.

In this paper, we find the values of near-end crosstalk coefficients in dual-offset stripline of a FR-4 multilayer PCB by an analytic method and a HSPICE simulation method, define calculation errors inananlytic method and the application range, simulate near-end crosstalk coefficients of the FCT(Fast CMOS TTL) in complicated dual-offset stripline by HSPICE and analyze near-end crosstalk and far-end crosstalk coefficients in dual-offset stripline. So, we analyze coupling structure of the near-end crosstalk and far-end crosstalk in the complicated dual-offset striplines that are 1[pF] capacitors termainated, and define a coupling formula of near-end crosstalk and far-end crosstalk coefficients dual-offset striplines.

We have developed a dual control algorithm by means of innovations approach and established the stability of dual by introducing the pole-placement method suggested by Berger on the non-dual control. The dual controller realizing this algorithm decreases control loss sharply when compared with that of a non-dual controller, and shows the characteristics of suppressing the output deviation in transient state effectively. The total control energy and the accumulated square misdistance of this dual controller are shown to be 1-10% and 0.1-10% of those of CE control, respectively. Consequently this controller solves the non-minimum phase problem encountered when discretizing the system equation, and can be used to overcome the uncertainty of system effectively by adjusting the learning rate of the controller.
