This study has developed a packaging criterion to minimize the level of discomfort which drivers using their vehicles for daily life purposes may experience due to ill designed vehicle packaging of mid-size sedan based on users' daily-life scenario. To find out optimal range of packaging dimension criterion, discomfort levels the test participants with different physical conditions suffer while performing various activities were analyzed. One hundred two test participants were carefully selected to represent entire Korean mid-size sedan owner-drivers. They were directed to test drive on the course designed to simulate mid-size sedan daily-usage scenario. At pre-designed locations, each of questions was asked to the test participants to be answered in the form of 10 point discomfort level score. By analyzing the test results, the optimal range for packaging dimensions was defined to be used as a packaging criterion.

The purpose of this article is to find out and analyze the diverse factors that are incurring stress to the railway drivers, and to depict the relationship among personality, job stress, job satisfaction, and accidents. To attain this purpose, the authors designed the questionnaire based on in-depth interview, scrutinized the factors of stressors, and statistically tested the study themes on the moderating effects of Personality Factors such as Locus of Control, Self-Efficacy, and Organization-Based Self Esteem on the relationship between Job Stressors and Job Satisfaction/Accidents, for the 212 samples received from KORAIL, Seoul Metro, and Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit. Resultedly, one of the findings indicate that certain aspects of a driver's personalities, as measured by locus of control, self-efficacy, and organization-based self esteem play important roles in predicting the level of job satisfaction, job stress and accidents.

In line with the expansion of electric railway, reducing carbon emission and optimal train operation are required by economical, eco-friendly and efficient management. Most of the energy consumption in electric railway is consumed by train operation. So it is important that minimize the energy consumption in train operation. An analysis of the operation performance of the new model vehicle which in South Korea, Korail introduced shows that the energy consumption is different in line with the skill level of the engine driver. In this study, the know-how of train operation of a skilled engine driver is systematized by using artificial intelligence, and the technique which supports engine drivers with train operation was offered. As a result of applying in South Korea, the Gyeongbu line by using simulation, it confirmed that the maximum 20% can reduce the energy consumption in comparison with unskilled engine drivers in case of applying the Expert System.

Organizational dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) is set off by a number of driving forces, such as enhancing corporate financial performance, concern for the environment, regulatory compliance, and social equity. This article aims to ascertain the uptake of CSR among firms in the Philippines and Thailand leading to the attainment of sustainable development. The results revealed that CSR is carried out by the companies primarily to enhance their competitive advantage and legal compliance, which are deemed essential to the firms' existence. This study seeks to contribute to understanding how companies undertake their operations based on socially responsible practices so that the theoretical conceptualizations of sustainability can be developed. By determining what prods companies to pursue CSR, it will shed light on the mechanism that promotes the existence of sustainable organizations, linking it with CSR and the companies' objectives and strategies.

This paper proposes a novel structure of output buffer circuits for PDP data drivers. The proposed circuit is free from capacitive coupling effect from the output electrode and suppresses the short circuit currents, which improves the current driving capability and reduces the power consumption.

This paper adopts the big data research method, and draws 491 data from the Tianya Forum about the Simultaneous Renting and Purchasing policy of Guangzhou. The qualitative analysis software Nvivo11 is used to cluster the main questions about the Simultaneous Renting and Purchasing policy in the forum. The 36 high-frequency word frequencies are obtained through text clustering. Through rooted theory analysis, the main driving factors for summarizing people's doubts are 9 main categories, 3 core categories, and the model of driving factors for online forums is established. The study finds that resource factors are the most key factor, economic factors are the important drivers, and policy guiding factors are sub-important drivers.

A newly developed flexible active-matrix (AM-) electrophoretic display (EPD) is reported. The AM-EPD features: (1) low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) thin film transistor (TFT) technology, (2) fully integrated scan- and data-drivers, (3) flexibility and light-weight realized by transferring the whole circuits onto a plastic substrate using $SUFTLA^{TM}$ (Surface Free Technology by Laser Annealing/Ablation) process. A large storage capacitor is formed in each pixel so that driving electric field can be kept sufficiently strong during a writing period Two-phase driving scheme, a reset-phase which erases a previous image and a writing-phase for writing a new image, was chosen to cope with EPD's high driving voltage. The flexible AM-EPD has been successfully operated with a driving voltage of 8.5 V.

A new joint source channel coding reduces both input-width and average current consumption to transmit image data to LCD source drivers. As a source coding, it is based on entropy coding of differential pulse code modulation scheme, especially using median edge detector of image predictor. As a channel coding, it is not a simple pulse amplitude modulation, but linked by source entropy to reduce average amplitude. Simulation results show 1/4 width is achievable by 16-valued transmission with keeping conventional current consumption (0.36 to 1.3).

The effect of dietary factors on the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were surveyed by the interviewing method among 119 taxi drivers in Cheonan area. It was shown that 86.5% of them were working over 11 hours a day and 34.4% of them over 16 hours. the level of job satisfaction was very low. Many of them felt fatigue during driving. Some symptoms of fatigue which many taxi drives said to be suffered from were headache physical exhaustion nervousness tired and sore eyes and anorexia. When related variables to the self-reported symptoms of fatigue were analyzed daily sleeping hours and exercise were significantly correlated with physical mental and neuro-motor fatigue, Subjects who had meals irregularly were greater than those who had regularly. In addition they tended to eat faster during working and 28.6% of them seldom had breakfast. Subjects who had meals irregularly consumed significantly less fat iron calcium vitamin A, and riboflavin. A and riboflavin and niacin than those who skipped it.

In this research any abnormal motion of a vehicle is detected by utilizing the difference between the reference and actual yaw velocities as sell as the information on vehicle slip angle and slip angular velocity. This information is then used as a criterion for execution of the yaw moment control. A yaw moment control algorithm based on the brake control is proposed for improving the directional stability of the vehicle. The controller executes brake controls to provide each wheel with adequate brake pressures, which generate the needed yaw moment. It is shown that the proposed yaw moment control logic can provide excellent cornering capabilities even on low friction roads. This active control scheme can prevent a vehicle from behaving abnormally, and can assist normal drivers in coping with dangerous situations as well as experienced drivers.
