  • Recently, the intelligent transportation system (ITS) that provides driver convenience and reduces the number of road casualties is in the spotlight. ITS must quickly deal with the emergency situation and provide information which drivers need. In ITS, a different channel will be assigned for each service to provide the service efficiently. However, if the channel is used at an emergency situation, the service cannot be provided immediately. For overcome this problem, we introduce the cognitive radio technology into ITS and propose a new spectrum sensing method in this paper.

  • The long line fishing machine is combined with motor and two disc rollers has used on the small size fishing-boat under 1 ton located in near Jeollanam-do seaside. The long line fishing motor is controlled only one direction because the fishing line is loaded heavily at pulling up. On this paper we made the long line fishing 400W power motor controller which it was usually applied under 1 ton fishing boat, and designed the controller using PWM chip, Half bridge driver and MOSFET for one direction motor control. Furthermore some user convenience devices were added like battery indicator and safety protection circuit for battery overdischarge and battery source wire mismatch connection. So we protected the battery from overdicharging when the battery voltage was below 11.5V and fishermen didn't need to worry about source lines misconnection anymore. We confirmed the test version of controller was the good working condition at land and sea.

A Design of Group Signature Based Vehicle Payment Protocol to Ensure Vehicle Anonymity (차량 익명성을 보장하는 그룹 서명기반 차량용 결제 프로토콜 설계)

  • CV(Connected Vehicle) technology provides safety-related services and user convenience-related services to vehicle. Safety-related services can cause privacy problem by continuously transmitting vehicle information to nearby vehicles or base stations. Therefore, safety-related services should provide vehicle anonymity for privacy protection. However, if convenience-related services such as payment services fail to provide vehicle anonymity, driver information related to safety-related services may also be leaked. In this paper, we design a payment protocol based on ECQV(Elliptic Curve Qu-Vanstone) impicit certificate and group signature that provides BU-anonymity and traceability. The proposed payment protocol makes it impossible to track vehicles from payment transactions history by separating roles of payment system components. Moreover, we define the security requirements that the vehicle payment protocol must satisfy and show that the protocol satisfies the requirements.

The Effect of Customer Value on Online Shopping Mall: The Moderating Role of Trust (온라인 쇼핑몰환경에서 고객가치가 로열티에 미치는 영향: 신뢰의 매개영향을 중심으로)

  • Companies consider customers as an equity, which is expected to increase customer loyalty. However, customer loyalty does not linearly increase in real world by the customer equity always. This research investigates a mediating variable which influence the relationship between customer equity drivers and customer loyalty. We focus on customer value as a customer equity driver which is the most basic factor among customer equity drivers. We examine that online trust as a mediator between the customer value and customer loyalty in on online shopping mall context. Customer value consists of perceived convenience, quality, and price. Findings indicate that online trust mediates the relationship between customer value and customer loyalty. Especially, online trust perfectly mediates the perceived convenience and the perceived quality. The perceived convenience influences online trust most significantly and perceived quality and perceived price are following in the order of strength. Our results implicate that online trust is an important mediator of the relationship between customer equity and customer loyalty in online shopping mall context and need to be managed as a customer relationship management index to increase customer loyalty. In addition, perceived convenience is the most important factor to increase online trust in matured online market.

  • The parking management system can increase driver's convenience with detailed parking information service in the parking lot. At the same time, parking management system consumes non-negligible electrical energy with large amount of sensors, displays and control modules. With the increase in the demand for green and sustainable building design all over the world, it becomes a meaningful issue for parking management system to reduce operating power. This paper presents the preliminary design and estimated results of a parking management system which is optimized to reduce the power consumption mainly on detectors and displays. The system design is based on pre-developed wireless parking detectors, Park Tile and Park Disk. The system has a number of parking space detectors, vehicle count detectors, information displays, guidance terminals and other control units. We have performed system architecture design, communication network design, parking information service scenario planning, battery life regulation and at last operating power estimation. The estimated operating power was 0.93KW per parking-slot, which is 20% of traditional systems. The estimated annual maintenance cost was 18% of traditional systems.

  • The information and communication technology that is being developed recently has been greatly influencing the automobile market. In recent years, devices equipped with IT technology have been installed for the safety and convenience of the driver. It is necessary to develop a system that can link the Smartphone with the vehicle in accordance with these changes. In this paper, first of all we analyze the car connectivity services that served by the other competitors. In addition, we proposed and implemented the improved system that can support and control most of smart device application in vehicle by user's NEEDS. We also implemented the application that can restrict the applications which unsatisfied the drive regulations and designed and proposed the scenario that can apply our company's car connectivity system in future.

  • Around-View, the image processing device which increases the comfort of drivers is sold in the market. This system prevents accidents in advance while driving or parking. The accidents are caused with their inexperienced driving or bad visibility. It is developed for driving convenience. However, it dosen't spread to the driver widely due to the problem of the high installation costs and complex installation process. First, expensive equipment second, difficult development environment and third, inconvenient installation procedure. So the drivers don't have many opportunities to use this system and dare to develop this system. I think if one of the problems can be solved, users might be able to access this system at low cost. In this paper, the AVM(Around-View Monitoring) minimizes two of them. Expensive equipment, inconvenient installation. The costly problems were solved by using low-cost USB device and rear cameras. In view of inconvenient installation process, the new system was designed to make it easy for people to install it. Through this, it can ease the burden of consumers.

  • The decisive factor for the popularization of telematics services in the future isn the ability to produce advanced service that match the needs of drivers and passengers. The Dedicated Short Range Communication(DSRC)-type of wireless communication system, which is being developed for the Intelligent Transport System(ITS), is one of the broadband wireless systems contributing to the improvement of driver and passenger needs, such as convenience, entertainment, comfort and safety. In this paper, the possibility of applying this system to the traffic information collection service will be explored. Further, a description of the service design for the traffic information collection system using electronic toll collection service will be provided, in the knowledge that the existence of information communication equipment mounted vehicles will remain.

  • Recently many cars are equipping a navigation system. The main purpose of the early system guides a user through the route. A navigation system includes various abilities by development of various technologies and it has given more convenience to user. It can play various records on the tape and announces which are useful information about each road. Also it can use various multi-media contents by DMB device during driving. However, guide function of basic and important road in the navigation system has not grown greatly yet. In this paper, we proposed recommendation method of human-friendly road considering user's condition through various information of outside environment, user's velocity intention, a driver's emotion and a preference of the road. Modules consists of hierarchical structure that can easily correct and add each algorithm and those use fuzzy logic algorithm.

Technology Acceptance Modeling based on User Experience for Autonomous Vehicles

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to precede the acceptance study based on automation steps and user experience that was lacked in the past study on the core technology of autonomous vehicle, ADAS. The first objective was to construct the acceptance model of ADAS technology that is the core technology, and draw factors that affect behavioral intention through user experience-based evaluation by applying driving simulator. The second one was to see the change of factors on automation step of autonomous vehicle through the UX/UA score. Background: The number of vehicles with the introduction of ADAS is increasing, and it caused change of interaction between vehicle and driver as automation is being developed on the particular drive factor. For this reason, it is becoming important to study the technology acceptance on how driver can actively accept giving up some parts of automated drive operation and handing over the authority to vehicle. Method: We organized the study model and items through literature investigation and the scenario according to the 4 stages of automation of autonomous vehicle, and preceded acceptance assessment using driving simulator. Total 68 men and woman were participated in this experiment. Results: We drew results of Performance Expectancy (PE), Social Influence (SI), Perceived Safety (PS), Anxiety (AX), Trust (T) and Affective Satisfaction (AS) as the factors that affect Behavioral Intention (BI). Also the drawn factors shows that UX/UA score has a significant difference statistically according to the automation steps of autonomous vehicle, and UX/UA tends to move up until the stage 2 of automation, and at stage 3 it goes down to the lowest level, and it increases a little or stays steady at stage 4. Conclusion and Application: First, we presented the acceptance model of ADAS that is the core technology of autonomous vehicle, and it could be the basis of the future acceptance study of the ADAS technology as it verifies through user experience-based assessment using driving simulator. Second, it could be helpful to the appropriate ADAS development in the future as drawing the change of factors and predicting the acceptance level according to the automation stages of autonomous vehicle through UX/UA score, and it could also grasp and avoid the problem that affect the acceptance level. It is possible to use these study results as tools to test validity of function before ADAS offering company launches the products. Also it will help to prevent the problems that could be caused when applying the autonomous vehicle technology, and to establish technology that is easily acceptable for drivers, so it will improve safety and convenience of drivers.
