유도전동기 드라이브의 고성능 제어를 위한 MRAC 퍼지제어 (MRAC Fuzzy Control for High Performance of Induction Motor Drive)

  • 본 논문은 벡터로 제어되는 유도전동기 드라이브를 위하여 퍼지논리에 기초한 속도 및 자속제어기의 적응제어를 제시한다. 적응 메카니즘에서 제시된 모델기준 적응방법은 전동기의 속도와 기준모델의 출력 사이에서 측정한 오차와 오차의 변화에 의하여 퍼지논리를 수행한다. MIRAC(Model Reference Adaptive Control) 퍼지제어기는 다양한 동작조건을 위하여 시뮬레이션에 의해 평가한다. 제시한 MIRAC 퍼지제어기의 타당성은 유도전동기 드라이브 시스템에 적용하여 성능 결과로 입증한다.

  • A new continuously variable transmission for bicycles(B-CVT) is developed by using a traction drive mechanism having inner and outer spherical rotors. The B-CVT has high power efficiency, large torque capacity, improved drivability and good packageability. The ratio change mechanism for the B-CVT is very simple, in contrast with other traction drive CVTs. After completing a conceptual design, a performance analysis and a detail design, a prototype of the B-CVT has been manufactured. The prototype has rated power of 100 watts, pedal speed of 6 rad/s and an overall speed ratio of 1.0-4.0. A bench test and an actual bicycle test have been performed to verify the practicability of the B-CVT.

신경회로망을 이용한 평행링크 DD로봇의 위치제어 (A Study on the Position Control of the parallelogram link DD Robot Using Neural Network)

  • 본 논문에서는 DD(Direct-drive)의 기구로서 2자유도 평행링크 기구를 사용하였다. 평행링크 기구는 2개의 모터가 각각 기저부에 설치되어 있기 때문에 모터 자체의 질량이 다른 모터에 부하가 되지 않고, 링크의 수는 증가하지만 arm의 질량이 가볍게 되어, 링크 파라미터의 설정에 의하여 원심력 등의 비선형력이 없어지며 동시에 모터사이의 비간섭화를 실현할 수 있다. 그리고 평행링크 DD로븟 매니퓰레이터의 고정도 운전의 실현을 위하여 신경회로망을 이용한 학습제어계를 설계하여 학습속도의 개선과 함께 변화한 작업대상에의 적응력을 개선하기 위하여 신경회로망과 피드백제어기로 학습제어 알고리즘을 구성한다.

  • This paper describes the design, construction, and fundamental testing of a precision rotational device that utilizes piezoelectric elements as a source of driving force and impact drive mechanism as a driving principle. A novel device structure is designed and the numerical simulations about the static displacement, stress distribution, and mode shape of the designed structure are performed. A fabricated rotational device has been rotated successfully by applying saw-shaped voltages to the piezoelectric elements. The one-step rotational angle was $0.44{\times}10^{-3}$ rad at the applied voltages of 80V. The angular velocities of the device were revealed to be increased as the driving frequency and voltage were respectively increased and the preload was decreased. The device has a feature that it can be translated as well as rotated. An experimental result shows that the device was translated by ${\pm}4.56{\mu}m$ maximum when the 120V sinusoidal voltages with a phase difference of $180^{\circ}$ were respectively supplied to two piezoelectric elements.

  • 제어봉구동장치는 원자로의 반응도를 제어하기 위한 전기기기이다. 기존 제어봉구동장치는 원자로 외장형으로 원자로덮개의 노즐에 설치되었다. 그러나 최근에는 제어봉인출 사고를 근본적으로 배제하기 위한 내장형 제어봉구동장치의 필요성이 대두되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 자석잭 방식 외장형 제어봉구동장치를 응용하여 원자로 내장형 제어봉구동장치를 개발하는 개념설계를 소개한다.

  • The second shutdown drive mechanism (SSDM) that is classified into seismic category I as an active mechanical equipment shall maintain the structural integrity and its designed inherent safety functions during and/or after normal operation, anticipated operational occurrences, accidents and seismic occurrences. Therefore, not only a structural integrity assessment through numerical analyses but also a qualification test by using the prototype SSDM shall be conducted to verify the adequacy of the SSDM design. This paper describes a sort of seismic qualification test of the prototype SSDM to demonstrate that the structural integrity and operability (functionality) of SSDM are maintained during and/or after seismic excitations. From the results, this paper shows that the SSDM satisfies all design requirements without any malfunctions during and after the seismic test.

3D-based equivalent model of SMART control rod drive mechanism using dynamic condensation method

  • The SMART (System-integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor) is an integral-type small modular reactor developed by KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). This paper discusses the feasibility and applicability of a 3D-based equivalent model using dynamic condensation method for seismic analysis of a SMART control rod drive mechanism. The equivalent model is utilized for complicated seismic analysis during the design of the SMART. While the 1D-based beam-mass equivalent model is widely used in the nuclear industry for its calculation efficiency, the 3D-based equivalent model is suggested for the seismic analysis of SMART to enhance the analysis accuracy of the 1D-based equivalent model while maintaining its analysis efficiency. To verify the suggested model, acceleration response spectra from seismic analysis based on the 3D-based equivalent model are compared to those from the 1D-based beam-mass equivalent model and experiments. The accuracy and efficiency of the dynamic condensation method are investigated by comparison to analysis results based on the conventional modeling methodology used for seismic analysis.

  • This work focuses on the analysis of dynamic characteristics of an optical disk drive, Dynamic performance of the drive plays an important role in the design of a mechanism where the quality of servo mainly affected by the quality of controlling focus error and tracking error, A finite element model of the optical disk drive is presented to demonstrate its dynamic behaviors. Experimental results for the drive are presented and compared to predictions from the finite element model for verification. Using the finite element model, dynamic responses are predicted under internal and external excitations. Some design parameters of the vibration isolators are presented, satisfying the requirements of DVD drive system.

피에조 이송기구를 이용한 초소형 선반 (A Micro Turning Lathe Using Piezo Feed Driver)

  • Micro-machine tool is essential in the micro/meso cutting for the sake of saving of space, resources, and energy. In this research, a micro-turning lathe was fabricated with piezoelectric feed drive mechanism, and motion of each axis was generated by stepwise mechanism with two piezo actuators. The resolution to drive the axis was $0.05{\mu}m$ and position accuracy less than $2{\mu}m$ was assured. From the positioning experiment, piezo feed mechanism is good enough for the micro machine tools. Many fuming experiments were carried out with diamond-cutting tools to evaluate cutting capability of a machine tool. Continuous flow type chip could be obtained even if the cutting speed was very low due to small diameter of workpiece. However, thorough investigation about machineability in micro/meso cutting is inevitable to assure high quality surface roughness in micro machine tool.
