BIM을 위한 도면 표현 사례에 관한 연구 (A Research on Drawing Representation for BIM(Building Information Modeling))

  • Building Information Modeling(BIM) is rooted in the economic and functional advantages of maturing from paper-based 2D drawings. The paper-based design and construction drawings are typical production from BIM and using the drawing under BIM environment is needed because there is not an alternative media instead of paper-based drawings. However using the 2D drawing process based on 2D CAD for BIM environment directly has difficulties because there are significant differences in data structure between CAD and BIM. CAD is based on traditional drawings as a whole while BIM is focused on individual objects and providing various levels of information associated with the objects. It can be an obstacle to move from 2D CAD to BIM that we don't have a standard or guideline for BIM. Futhermore, the complexity of drawing in representation would be the obstacle too, so the solution is discussed in the research based on the case of Samoo Architects and Engineers.

외연적 유한요소법을 이용한 세장비가 큰 타원형 컵 성형공정의 다단계 해석 (Multi-stage Analysis of Elliptic Cup Drawing Processes with the Large Aspect Ratio by an Explicit Elasto-Plastic Finite Element Method)

  • Finite element analysis is carried out for simulation of the multi-stage elliptic cup drawing process with the large aspect ratio. The analysis incorporates with shell elements for an elasto-plastic finite element method with the explicit time integration scheme. For the simulation, LS-DYNA3D is utilized for its wide capability of solving forming problems. The simulation result shows that the non-uniform drawing ratio at the elliptic cross section ad the small shoulder radius cause failure such as tearing and wrinkling. The result suggests the guideline to modify the tool shape for prevention of the failure during the drawing process.

세장비가 큰 직사각컵 다단계 성형공정의 합리적 금형설계 변경 (Rational Design Modification in a Multi-stage Rectangular Cup Drawing Process with the Large Aspect Ratio)

  • Finite element analysis of a multi-stage deep drawing process is carried out for the die design of rectangular cup drawing with the large aspect ratio. Simulation is performed for thorough investigation of unfavorable mechanisms in the initial design. The analysis reveals that the difference of the drawing ratio and the irregular contact condition produces non-uniform metal flow to cause wrinkling and severe extension. In this paper, the modification guideline is proposed in the design of the process and the tool shape. The analysis result confirms that the modified design not only improves the quality of a deep-drawn product but also reduces the possibility of failure.

  • Tool design is introduced in a multi-stage rectangular cup drawing process with the large aspect ratio. Finite element simulation is carried out to investigate deformation mechanisms with the initial tool design. The analysis reveals that the difference of the drawing ratio and the irregular contact condition produces non-uniform metal flow to cause wrinkling and severe extension. For remedy, the modification guideline is proposed in the design of the tool and process. Analysis results confirm that the modified tool design not only improves the quality of a deep-drawn product but also reduces the possibility of failure.

  • Cowl cross bar, a component of automotive cockpit module, has been manufactured by using welding processes of several tube parts with different diameters. However, in order to reduce costs and increase the quality, it is required to develop a new production method to manufacture the cowl cross bar as one-piece In this study, therefore, eliminating the welding process, tube drawing process which is one of metal forming processes was designed by using combined drawing technique. In addition, the selectable range of area reduction ratio was defined as a design guideline and the designed process sequence was verified by finite element analysis.

  • Assuring required dimensional tolerance after spingback becomes the main concern of sheet-forming die designers when formability is secured through previous tryout. As a part to build a guideline to control springback in automobile frame forming, experiments are carried out to show the effects of process parameters, such as holding force, blank size, and lubrication, on corner angles of channels formed by U-bending or by square-cup drawing and trimming. The results are resented in the viewpoint of evaluating parameters.

  • Optimum tool design is carried out fur a multi-stage rectangular cup deep-drawing and ironing process with the large aspect ratio. Finite element simulation is carried out to investigate deformation mechanisms with the initial design made by an expert. The analysis considers the deep drawing process with ironing for the thickness control in the cup wall. The analysis reveals that the difference of the drawing ratio within the cross section and the irregular contact condition produce non-uniform metal flow to cause wrinkling and severe extension. For remedy, the modification guideline is proposed in the design of the tool and the process. Analysis results confirm that the modified tool design not only improves the quality of a deep-drawn product but also reduces the possibility of failure. The numerical result shows fair coincidence with the experimental one. After tryouts of the tool shape, the rectangular cup has been produced in the transfer press.

건설CALS/EC 지원을 위한 수자원 분야 전자도면 표준체계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Standard of CAD Drawing in the Water Resources Parts to Support Construction CALS/EC)

  • 건설산업의 생산성 향상 및 건설사업관리의 효율성 제고를 위해 국가차원에서의 건설 CALS/EC 표준을 개발한바 수자원 분야에서도 국가 전자도면 작성기준에 준한 표준체계의 개발이 필요한 시기이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국가 건설CALS/EC를 지원하기 위한 수자원분야 전자도면정보의 표준체계 개발전략을 수립하였다. 이를 위해, 수자원분야 공공기관의 건설사업관리시스템, 건설유지관리시스템, 도면작성기준서 등 건설관련 분야의 도면정보 표준, 국내 전자도면 작성표준과 ISO, 미국 NCS, 일본표준에서 포함하고 있는 도면표준을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 건설CALS/EC 지원을 위한 수자원분야 도면정보 표준의 기본적인 방향을 제안하였다. 실무적으로 표준체계를 적용하기 위해, 수자원 분야 공공기관의 현행 표준체계와도 연계되면서 국가 건설CALS/EC을 준수하도록 번호부여체계를 수립하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 건설CALS/EC을 지원하기 위한 수자원 분야의 기본적인 표준화 방향 및 번호부여 규칙을 제시하였다.

초고강도 강판 성형용 드로비드 설계 (Design of Drawbeads for Advanced High Strength Steel Sheet Forming)

  • In this study, the guideline for designing the drawbeads used in the stamping dies for advanced high strength steel (AHSS) sheets is investigated. In the drawbead drawing test, the drawbead forces for verifying the equivalent drawbead model(EDM) and the sheet strains for finding marginal strains from $FLC_0$ are measured. In the finite element analysis (FEA), the bending allowance, R/t, is obtained. Based on the forming and bending allowances obtained, the design guideline of the drawbead for determining height and width, which depends on the restraining force and the forming allowance, is prepared by using EDM.

Space Syntax를 이용한 농촌어메니티 강화 및 저해요소의 입지 특성 분석 (An Analysis on Locational Characteristics of Amenity/Disamenity Elements in Rural Villages by the Space Syntax Method)

  • This study tried to establish a renewal guideline for rural villages through the analysis on locational characteristics of amenity/disamenity elements. Space Syntax Method was applied to analyze the locational characteristics of amenity/disamenity elements in qualitative terms. The study was carried out by 5 steps: Selection of amenity/disamenity classification table and case study villages(used same ones as in the previous study) ${\rightarrow}$ Drawing of base-map for spatial analysis ${\rightarrow}$ Preparation of final study-map after field survey ${\rightarrow}$ Spatial analysis using the Space Syntax Method ${\rightarrow}$ Proposing of a rural village renewal guideline. Through the application study to the case study villages, it was ascertained that the renewal guideline proposed in this study would well help reflect spatial characteristics of amenity/disamenity elements in plan-making works of rural villages.
