온돌에 대한 역사적 고찰 (A Historical Study of Ondol)

  • In Korean housing designs reflect uniqueness as a result of the influence of regional and atmospheric factors. In this regard, the early use of the hot floor (ondol) system is of special significance. This system is still in use today, not only for house-heating purposes in the homes of commoners, but also for cooking in the kitchen. The present study represents an investigation of the ondol structure since its earliest known usage. Methodology involves a documentary examination of the system. In point of time, this begins with the system's earliest usage and proceeds chronnologically down to the end of the Yi Dynasty. Research indicates that something very much like the ondol system appeared in the early tribal society of Mahan and its usage continued in the state of Koguryo (during the Three Kingdoms Period) in the homes of the poor. This unique system which had its origin in cold northern areas was utilized on a much broader basis during the Koryo Dynasty. Coming down to the Yi Dynasty it found acceptance and application in all parts of the peninsula. Variations in major component parts of the structure, such as the fuel hole, the flue, the draft , and the chimney, normally reflect regional dissimilarities. It is perhaps most significant that here-in contrast to other devices we have a system that serves concurrently for both heating and cooking purposes.

  • A study was conducted to develope a system for optimum design, safe appraisal and repair works on agricultural structures. Locations of structures were identified using GPS and imbedded into GIS data base with related information. A graphical program assisting ensile field investigation of typical agricultural structural problems such as fractures and cracks of members was developed. Typical rehabilitation methods were coded for data base development. Optimum design programs for several structures were developed and CAD program which automatically draw draft was also developed.

  • Korean Fusion Reactor(KSTAR) system consists of a vacuum vessel, in-vessel components, cryostat, thermal shield, super-conducting magnets and magnet supporting structures. These systems are in the final stage of engineering design with the involvement of industrial manufacturers. The overall configuration and the detailed dimensions of the KSTAR structure have been determined and the first stage of manufacturing is progressing now. In this study, the fabrication and assembly sequence were evaluated in viewpoint of high strengthening joints and very high accuracy. Especially for this purpose, the special cleaning process and welding process were proposed for high strengthening austenitic stainless steel which shall be used at cryogenic temperature. The draft procedure qualification data for welding process are presented with precise welding data including special narrow groove design. For the cooling line attachment on the surface of inside wall of magnet structure case, Induction brazing technology is introduced with some special jigging system and some consumables.

  • The structure of the variable liquid column oscillator(VLCO) is analogous to that of the tuned liquide column damper used to suppress oscillatory motion in large structures like tall buildings and cargo ships. VLCO is the technology to absorb high potential energy made by process of accelerated motions to occur the effect of an air spring by installation of inner air chamber. So, the application of VLCO can obtain to improve efficiency of energy than wave energy converters made in Pelamis Company. In this research, the experiments were carried out for the motion characteristics of simple floating body by varying the amount of internal fluid. The experimental results were compared with the calculated results.

  • This paper describes a sweeping path planning algorithm for an autonomous smearing robot on commercial autoCAD system. An automatic planner generates a sweeping path pattern by proposed five basic procedures, (1) interfacing architectural CAD system, (2) off-line obstacle map building, (3) scanning the whole workspace for subgoals of sweeping line, (4) tracking sequence of the subgoals, and (5) obstacle avoiding. A sweeping path is planned by sequentially connecting the tracking points in such a way that (1) the connected line segments should be crossed, (2) the total tracking points should be as short as possible, (3) the tracking line should not pass through the obstacle. Feasibility of the developed techniques has been demonstrated on real architectural CAD draft.

  • 본 연구는 데이터베이스 기술분류의 표준시안을 제시하기 위하여 1차년도(1994년) 연구 결과에 대한 관점을 체계화하고 구체화시켜 수정, 보완하는 형식으로 이루어졌다. 분류관점을 정보와 이를 지원하는 시스템 측면으로 크게 나누어, 데이터베이스 일반, 정보유통, 정보검색, 데이터베이스 시스템, 주변 관련주제를 분류기준으로 하는 표준 시안의 모형이 제시되었다.

  • Currently outer space become more and more congested and contested, according to the increase of satellites, nations and government consortia that operate satellites, and commercial and academic satellite operators. Therefore, international community, including the United Nations has been making a greater effort to adopt non-legally binding international documents capable of regulating space activities for the purpose of the security, safety and long-term sustainability of space activities. These are a draft International Code of Conduct for Outer Space Activities(ICoC) and UN Group of Governmental Experts on Transparency and Confidence-Building Measures in Outer Space Activities(UNGGE).

  • This paper suggests the system for searching and application is to be in combination between existing hair art area and Image/Video processing area. This proposed system usually saves various hair types into a database, then, users send images of their face over the internet by using WebCam. Finally, they can find the hair types for users. Hair cutting is technology that form draft to make hair style. Man cut must decide how in image of sinciput, image of side bean curd, after lower image must operate. Silhouette is produced as is different by change of this three places. Customer increases in the beauty salon and beauty salon chain being changed, research about beauty art is necessary point of time. In this treatise, our country of when swim and operate haircut about problem that happen sample survey and analysis.

SIP 기반의 VoIP 보안 시스템 구현 (Implementation of a Secure VoIP System based on SIP)

  • 본 논문에서는 IETF에서 제안한 SIP 프로토콜의 보안에 대해서 연구하고 이를 기반으로 VoIP 보안 시스템을 설계하여 RFC 3261 의 보안 요구 사항 및 방향에 대해서 분석하였다 . SIP 보안 메커니즘으로 HTTP Digest 사용자 인증, TLS를 적용한 흡간 보안, S/MIME 을 적용한 단말간 보안을 적용하고 미디어 보안으로는 현재 드래프트 인 SRTP를 사용하여 구현하였다. SIP 표준 문서에서 제안하고 있는 사용자 인증, 흡간 보안, 단말간 보안을 SIP VoIP 단말 시스템에 적용하고 미디어 보안을 구현함으로써 VoIP 단말 및 프록시 서버 보안 가능을 구현하였다 또한 SIP 표준에서 제시된 보안 메커니즘의 안전성을 분석하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to restructure the 10th grade mathematics curriculum for teaching the function area under the computer environment using ‘Mathview’, which is a computer algebra system designed for exploring algebra dynamically. The instructional sequence of the function area was redesigned to highlight the functions and properties of the computer software. And, based on the newly designed sequence, this study develops the sample ‘teaching unit’ using Mathview. The basic principle of the materials is to encourage students to investigate mathematics by manipulate various experimental tasks by themselves or through group study. And, the draft of the sequence and teaching unit was reviewed by some mathematics teachers and revised through the feedback.
