  • Railway signal system is responsible for the safety operation of railway and performs vital functions as safe space control, route control and etc. These functions prevent collision accidents between trains and derailment accidents of trains. However, these accidents are occurred by some causes. It is necessary to analysis hazards, hazard frequency and risk contribution. And railway signal system must make practical application of the analysis results. This paper includes analysis results of railway accident data by FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) and hazards. Railway signal system must consider these hazards. This paper used the railway accident data of RSSB(Railway Safety & Standard Board) of UK. We will use the FTA result to set up a draft of safety criteria of railway signal system.

  • Electronic methods are already used in money transfer and credit cards transactions and electronic money and checks, which can substitute cash and coins, are being discussed. Recently, the Acts of Electronic Draft have been enacted, in order to make the money in the market flow efficiently. Also electronic bill of lading has been adopted for the practical use of international shipments. However, despite of the effort from the academia and practice, investments to stocks, especially in the stock exchange, is not quite perfectly electronic. Japan enacted a relevant act in 2004 which make its stock market totally dematerialized. This writing summarizes some issues in interpretation that arise in the course of operation of the Stock Electronic Registration System at the present time of 6 months after it came into effect and its purpose, by doing so, is to prevent in advance the kind of problems in introducing the similar system to Korea.

  • In the introduction, this paper introduces LS Industrial Systems' medium-voltage drive installed at Hyundai Green Power, an 800MW gas power plant. In the body, it explains the synchronous transfer technology and new speed search technology applied to Forced Draft(FD) Fan and Boiler Feed-water(BF) Pump, which are power generation facilities. Lastly, it shows the annual energy saving amount and operation status which are applied to each facility and proves that it is a successful application case.

건강가정지원센터의 조직과 운영방안 (A Study on the Organizational System and Management Strategies of Healthy Families Center)

  • This study was conducted to develop and propose a model for an organizational system and management strategies for Healthy Families Centers. As baseline research, the organization of comparable institutions such as the Social Welfare Center, Women's Development Center, Elderly Welfare Center, Child Welfare Center, and Childcare Information Center was analyzed. Based on the results of baseline research and the draft version of Healthy Families Act, this study proposed a management model for Healthy Families Centers. This proposed model suggests the city, county, and district level centers to be organized with three divisions: 1. family counseling team, 2. family education team, and 3. family life team. Concrete assignments for the teams are also proposed. Finally, a networking system for more effective management of the healthy families centers was also proposed.

  • The production, processing, sale and service of food materials are not subject to attainment via a single country. In accordance with internationalization of the world, issues related to food safety have emerged as critical international concerns and they are closely associated with the health and interest of domestic consumers, producers, manufacturers, and distributors. As a third party certification standards, ISO 22000 is in progress International Organization for Standardization(ISO) and the Draft International Standard(DIS) has already been presented on December 2004. The purpose of this study is to analyze the international standards, guidelines and legislation in regard of Food Safety Management System(FSMS) including ISO 9001, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP) and Product Liability(PL) so as to present Korean-model Food Safety Management System requirements and system establishment model.

  • Fieldbus provides a real-time data communication among field devices in the process control and manufacturing automation systems. In this paper, a Petri Net model of the 1993 draft of IEC/ISA fieldbus which is proposed as an international standard of fieldbus network is developed. Based on the Petri Net model, discrete-event simulation model of IEC/ISA fieldbus network is developed. This paper evaluates the network induced delay in the data link layer of IEC/ISA fieldbus using the simulation model. In addition, an integrated discrete-event/continuous-time simulation model of fieldbus system and distributed control system is developed. This paper investigates the real-time data processing capability of IEC/ISA fieldbus and the effect of network-induced delay to the performance of control system.

  • U-healthcare 시스템은 예방, 진단, 의료관리 등 현재 다양한 의료서비스시스템에 활용되고 있다. 그러므로 병원, 의료센터 등에서 이러한 의료정보의 활용은 필수적이다. 그러나 의료정보 표준인 HL7은 현재 표준화된 의료정보 명세로 지원되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 HL7을 의료정보표준화와 효율적인 의료정보활용을 위해 연구, 분석하였으며 그 효과성을 확인하였다.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the possibilities and considerations for the application of the radiant floor cooling system by analyzing the problems of a conventional cooling system through field tests and thermal performance simulations of the radiant floor cooling in an apartment building. The results are as follows. (1) Problems of he conventional cooling system with PAC()packaged air conditioner)'s include draft, local discomfort, and excessive electrical peak demand. (2) According to the measurement during the cooling and intermediate seasons, the floor surface temperatures which are experienced at the time of cooling with PAC\`s and during intermediate season are similar to the temperatures for radiant floor cooling. (3) The radiant floor cooling system is applicable to apartment buildings during the cooling season, especially on hot and clear days.
