초음파에 의한 평판에서의 임계열유속 증진에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on CHF Enhancement of Plate by Ultrasonic)

  • Augmentation of CHF by ultrasonic is experimentally studied under subcooling pool boiling condition. Experiment is carried out for downward-facing plate with and without the ultrasonic. The working fluid is distilled water. Experimental apparatus is composed of a bath, power supply, test section, ultrasonic generator, DAQ system. Experiment is performed with the subcooling temperature of $5^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$, $40^{\circ}C$ and the inclined angle of $0^{\circ}$, $10^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, 90. From the experimental results, it is found that ultrasonic effect enhances CHF of the downward-facing plate. As increasing the degree of subcooling, the rate of CHF increase is enhanced. As increasing the inclined angle, the rate of CHF increase decreases. Also, we can see that the heat transfer mechanism of CHF augmentation is closely connected with the dynamic behavior of bubble generation and departure.

A preliminary study on material effects of critical heat flux for downward-facing flow boiling

  • In this study, experiments of downward-facing flow boiling were conducted to investigate material effects on CHF. Experiments were conducted using aluminum, copper, and carbon steel. It was found that different materials had different CHFs. Aluminum has the biggest CHF while copper has the lowest CHF for each mass flux. After experiment, surface wettability increased and surface became rougher, which was probably due to the oxidation process during nucleate boiling. The CHF difference is likely to be related to the surface wettability, roughness and thermal effusivity, which influences the bubble behavior and in turn affects CHF. Further studies are needed to determine which factor is dominant.

  • 하향 가열 평판에서의 풀비등 임계열유속 실험이 수행되었다. 이는 원자로에서의 노심용융사고 발생시 그 결과를 완화시키는 한 방법으로 고려되고 있는 원자로용기 외부 냉각 (Ex-Vessel Flooding) 개념과 연관된다. 대기압하, 포화상태 물에서 너비가 다른 두 개의 평판 (20mm$\times$200mm및 25mm$\times$200mm)을 이용, -90$^{\circ}$(평형 하향), -88$^{\circ}$, -86$^{\circ}$, -84$^{\circ}$, -60$^{\circ}$와 -40$^{\circ}$의 경사 가도에 대한 임계열유속이 측정되었다. 실험 결과 너비가 큰 평판에서, 그리고 수직 위치로부터의 각도가 클수록 임계열유속이 낮게 나타났다. 이는 가열면에서 발생된 기포들의 이탈이 어려워지기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 경사가도에 따른 전체적 인 임계열유속 경향은 기존 연구들과 대체로 일치하나, 임계열유속 감소율이 변화하는 천이 각도가 -80$^{\circ}$ 근방에서 발견되었다.

  • The heat transfer phenomenon was investigated in this study when a circular water jet with low velocity flows to the downward facing heated circular plate and against the direction of gravity. Data are presented for jet flow rate between 0.23 and 2.3 l/min, jet fluid temperature of 24$^{\circ}C$, heat fluxes between 345 and 687 W/m$^2$, H/D=1, 2 and 3 with a single round jet diameter 2mm. The effects of heat flux, jet velocity and H/D on the local heat transfer are investigated in for the various regions of jet impingement. The local heat transfer distributions are analyzed based on the visualization of jet flow field. Data from experimental results are correlated by expressions of the form Nu=0.01$Re^{0.58}{\cdot}Pr^{0.4}$.

  • The heat transfer phenomenon was investigated in this study when a single round water jet with the low velocity and against the direction of gravity flows to the downward facing Isothermal of definite thickness circular plate. Experimental investigation is performed for a single round jet diameter 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm with the jet velocity 2.4m/s and jet fluid temperature of $24^{\circ}C$, varied the ratio of nozzle clearance/nozzle diameter (H/D)1, 2, 3, 6, and 8, on circular plate isothermal condition with $85^{\circ}C$. The local convection heat transfer coefficient distributions are analyzed based on the visualization of jet flow field. The effects of the diameter of Nozzle, the ratio of H/D and the ratio of nozzle diameter/circular plate diameter on heat transfer phenomenon are investigated. As a results of experiment is obtained correlation equation, $Nu_r=3.18Re_r^{0.55}Pr_r^{0.4}$.

『영추(靈樞)·본신(本神)』의 칠정상오장(七情傷五藏)에 대한 고찰(考察) (The Observation on the Five Vicera's Damaged due to Seven Emotion in the 『Lingshu·Benshen』)

  • In "Lingshu Benshen". five vicera are damaged due to changes in emotion having qi flow opposite to five viscera. As a result, it suggests that mental and physical illness could develop. The content of this piece can be explained in relation to five elements but uniformly through qi's flow. The contents can be summarized as follows. 1. The Heart is fire among the five elements and mainly characterized with dispersing. The flow of its qi is characterized facing upward and outward. On the other hand, being afraid or thinking seriously is characterized by making qi to go downward and stop so that the flow of qi is mainly facing toward inward and downward, damaging the heart. 2. The spleen has the conveyance function and spreads qi. On the other hand, worry and emotion inhibit qi function, blocking qi, damaging the spleen. 3. The liver has dispelling and removing functions and the power of sending up. The qi flow goes toward upward and outward. On the other hand, sadness stagnates qi, preventing the flow of liver's qi, damaging the liver. As a result, work is not done accurately. Madness develops with heat accumulated with qi stagnation. When qi is not sending up, mentality is not clear, leading to forgetfulness. 4. The lung has astringent and sending down functions, lowering qi. On the other hand, happy and joyful emotions bring up qi, showing the opposite flow of qi compared with the lung, damaging the lung. 5. The kidney has closing and storing functions, making qi flow to downward and inward. On the other hand, being angry makes qi to go up. Excessive expression of anger damages the kidney. As a result, the yin function of kidney does not work properly, leading to forgetfulness.
