자동차 연료튜브 홀더용 이중사출 금형·성형기술 (Development of double injection mold for fuel-tube holder)

  • Double injection molding process is very efficient molding-method for molding the products which is consist of multi-materials. Fuel-tube holder which is necessary for automobil power train and circulation systems is composed of plastic and rubber materials to minimize the vibration and pulsation noises. In existing process, fuel-tube holder was made by the insert molding process or assembly process after molding. If fuel-tube holder is manufactured by double injection molding process, it may be realize to improve the product quality, efficiency of molding-process and retrenchment of manufacturing cost. In this study, for manufacturing fuel-tube holder by double injection molding process, the analysis of joining characteristics between PA6(polyamide 6) and TPE(thermoplastic elastomer) was executed and the double injectin mold for molding fuel-tube holder with core toggle mechanism was fabricated. Finally, fuel-tube holder was molding using fabricated double injection mold.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 3 차원 사출성형 해석을 통하여 컴퓨터 마우스 제작용 이중사출성형 금형의 공정조건을 결정하는 것이다. 적합한 사출성형 공정조건을 선정하기 위하여 사출 시간, 최대 사출압력 및 보압 시간이 사출성형 특성과 제품 품질에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 고찰하였다. 사출성형 해석 결과로부터 제품의 수축과 휨 변형을 최소화 할 수 있는 최적 사출성형 공정조건을 예측하였다. 최종적으로 사출성형 실험을 수행하여 이종재료로 구성된 컴퓨터 마우스 제품을 제작하였다. 이 결과로부터 선정한 사출성형 공정조건을 적용할 경우 적절한 이종 재료로 구성된 컴퓨터 마우스가 제작될 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

이색 사출성형기 개발을 위한 유압시스템의 특성 검토 (Characteristics Analysis of the Fluid Power System for a Double-color Injection Molding Machine Development)

  • Double-color Injection molding machine is the assembly of many kinds of mechanical, fluid power part and electric electronic control system. From in these, fluid power is a part where becomes the first core of this machine. Fluid power systems of double-color injection molding machine are modelled and analyzed using a commercial program AMESim. Partial system models which is divided according to functional operation are made and its analysis results shows how design parameters work on operational characteristics like pressure, flow rates, displacement at each node and so on. Analysis modeling and compared the data which gets from experiment and the analysis result which has a reliability got data. The results made by analysis will be used design of fluid power circuit for developing a double-color injection molding machine.

  • A Study on Effects of the Runner and the Gate of double shot injection molded Parts using CAE Double shot injection molding can inject two different materials or two different colors in the same mold in a injection molding process. Double shot injection molded parts can be characterized that the base part maintains strength and specified part can inject soft-material. It can reduce the production cost by single automatic operations. In this paper, we designed double shot injection mold for automobile emote control To inject secondary part, this part is used as an insert after external appearance of product is injected. CAE analysis was progressed gate location and runner size as variables. The analysis result is reflected in mold design process. As a result, it could solve problems which are generated in the conventional mold. Additionally, cost can be downed by reducing runner weight. As well as it could omit painting process because the surface of finished product is improved through new mold.

이중 사출 키패드 성형 공정 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Double Injection-molding Keypad Process)

  • Recently, the plastic resin such as PC, ABS are widely used in IT market. Especially, in most cases the keypads mounted on the mobile phone are the dual-injection-plated type. Environmental regulation is based on the quality of injection-molded products and the minimum process steps are required to avoid the plating defects. Various parameters to produce the injection-molded plastic products make it difficult to obtain the desired stability. However, the past experience and the use of CAE analysis make it possible to predict the problems occurred in injection molding process. Especially, the problems of the weld lines such as runner balancing, bending, deformation and forming defects can be solved systematically and minimized by CAE analysis. Through this study, the non-uniform volumetric shrinkage and the difference in temperature distribution induce the deformation and the high value of stress causes the problems such as crack.

During an injection molding process of composites, the fiber-matrix separation and fiber orientation are caused by the flow of molten polymer/fiber mixture. As a result, the product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. Hence, it is very important to clarify the relations between separation' orientation and injection molding conditions. So far, there is no research on the measurement of fiber orientation using image processing. In this study, the effects of fiber content ratio and molding condition on the fiber orientation-angle distributions are studied experimentally. Using the image processing method, the fiber orientation distribution of weld-line in injection-molded products is assessed. And the effects of fiber content and injection mold-gate conditions on the fiber orientation are also discussed.

이중사출의 접합성 개선 및 생산성향상을 위한 금형구조 개발기술연구 (A technical study on mold construction development for junction improvement and productivity improvement of Double-Injection molding)

  • Double-injection molding can inject two different materials or two colors in the same mold and process. If this injection process use, product has ability because the base part maintain strength and specified part can inject soft-material. It makes the cost down by single operation automatically for saving wages. In this paper, we designed double-injection mold for automobile remote control to inject secondary using this part as insert after inject external appearance of product. CAE analysis was progressed gate location and runner size as variable and analysis result is reflected in mold design process. As a result, it could solved badness that is generated at the conventional mold. Additionally, cost is downed by reducing loss of runner as well as could omit painting process because surface of finished product is improved through new mold.
