Plan of Human Resource Development is essential to strategically promote poor domestic fire protection industry and as a consequent to grow it to a high value added service industry. To foster fire protection industry, any reform will be needed to for a smooth supplies of work force by training customized high class work force. Consequently, In this study, We will investigate and analyze the status and problems of current domestic fire protection industry so that We can suggest the direction for a way to improve these.

Recently many disadvantageous problems have been found during the process of domestic LRT(Light Rail Transit) projects and that can influence negative effects on the development of domestic railway. Since many projects have been progressed while having few original technologies, it is no exaggeration to say that they are being built unreasonable railway which lacks economic feasibility. The on-going LRT projects which are being carried out by the central or local government have a tendency to favor the systems and rolling stocks that have been approved by other countries through years of experience, therefore it can be said that we are having few chances to develop original technologies. In this study, we would like to promote railway development and jump up to the level of advanced railway standards through developing our unique and independent future LRT technology.

Information and communication technology has brought neck-breaking speed of changes to the global society in 20th century. The more the speed of change accelerated, the more widened the digital divide between the developed countries and the developing countries. In spite of the importance of solving digital divide, the current situation and status of projects for bridging the international digital divide around the world is not fully researched. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the foreign and domestic projects for bridging the international digital divide and to suggest the efficient ways of domestic projects for solving the international digital divide.

Avionics is a compound word of aviation and electronics that began to be used in the late 1930s. In the components or sub-systems installed to the aircraft, avionics is something that works by electronic technology. In the past, the aircraft mate, the flight engineer, and the radar operators performed the work on board the aircraft but the modern aircraft have replaced these tasks with avionics. the aircraft mechanics who maintain and manage such complex aircraft must have expertise and technics with the development of avionics to maintain aircraft airworthiness. This paper is about the introduction of domestic avionics qualification system and the development of avionics maintenance technology. For this, the SWOT analysis is performed by identifying the internal and external environment. And recommend the strategy and direction of domestic avionics qualification and education system.

To get the better efficiency in Korean type wind characteristics, a new wind turbine blade was developed with some structural, vibrational, and aero-elastic analysis for the design of the full-scale blade. A series of full domestic technology from design to manufacturing was created and used in the middle of the development of nelv wind blade. And it was equipped and measured at the wind test side in the Jeju island. After test, it is verified that the blade has the regular capacity of 10kW at the air velocity of 10m/s. And it shows better capacity in the low air-velocity compared to the imported blade. therefore it can be made by only domestic technology, and used for the domestic wind distribution with the better power generation.

This on-board signaling system has been designed with a priority on safety. The system has been devised for both safety, and also the efficiency of train operation. The Importance of signaling system is gradually being recognized with the continuous rise of operating speed and transporting density. Until now, the adaptation of signaling system was totally dependent on foreign signaling companies, as it was difficult to be accessed by domestic technology. But, successful commercial operation of the ATC/ATO system, which is adopted in the development of Kwangju Line No.1, heralds the use of domestic technology, which will be the basis of all future domestic signaling systems.

The CALS/EC is the world-wide accepted concept and its application domain is being expanded continuously throughout the private and public sectors. One of the essential points for realization of CALS/EC is to promote the domestic system integration(SI) industry. This paper describes the present status of the domestic SI companies and the clues to solve their facing problems. In order to evaluate the status of the current SI technology, the MBNQA(Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award) is adopted. The surveyed results show that the average levels of 14 SI companies over 7 evaluation criteria turn out to be 30% through 40% point. The major projects' activities of the SI companies on the information systems over the areas of trade, science and technology, industrial manpower, health and welfare, national security, etc are explained. Also, the competitive power of the SI companies is also discussed. As a target sample, the Korea Telecom(KT) CALS model project is described in terms of its Progresses and Problems. Furthermore, the strategic plans and detailed research items are proposed to resolve on-going issues.

In this paper, the survey results of the interruption on domestic residential customer with primary focus on the cost are presented. General method utilized in quantifying the benefit of reliability on power system is to estimate the Customer Interruption Cost(CIC) associated with the electric service interruption. According to change the circumstance of electricity market by the deregulation and the introduction of new technology, reliable and accurate CIC is required for estimate the applied plan and technology under the circumstance. This paper presents the residential customer interruption cost is estimated by the survey conducted by KEPCO in 2009. To collect the customer interruption data for calculation of CIC, the survey is conducted. The survey targeting residential customer around the branch-offices under twelve regional headquarters of KEPCO was carried out.

가구부재로 사용하기 위해 요구되는 목재 성질들을 변수로 하는 판별분석법을 이용하여 국산 활엽수재들이 현재 국내에서 수입 사용되는 온대산 활엽수재와 열대산 활엽수 집단중 어느 집단과 유사한지를 조사하였다. 조사된 36종의 국산 활엽수종 15종은 온대산 활엽수와 나머지 21 종은 열대산 활엽수와 성질이 비슷한 것으로 나타났다.

This paper explores the difference between domestic new ventures(DNV) and international new ventures (INV). New ventures pursue business opportunities in their target markets armed with experienced founding team, distinctive competitive strategies, and different entry time at foreign market. As a result, INVs were founded by larger number of founding team and more experienced in international business. Also INVs enter earlier global market and pursue business opportunities than DNVs. in In terms of competitive strategy, INVs highlight continuous quality improvement and diverse customers compared to DNVs focused on intellectual property rights. INVs get higher profitabilities in financial performance. Finally, this paper suggests some managerial implications for new venture to explore business opportunities in the global markets.
