The purpose of this case report and review of the literature is to provide documentation on periprosthetic hip joint infection with Flavonifractor plautii (formerly known as Eubacterium plautii), a strictly anaerobic bacterium, and to report on a successful pathway for management including staged surgical revisions and extended antibiotic therapy. A systematic review of the literature was conducted, which identified this case as only the fifth documented case of human infection with this organism; as a result, conduct of further research is warranted, based on the paucity of reports in the literature addressing anaerobic periprosthetic joint infection.

This study investigated the use of e-journals by health researchers in the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR). A descriptive survey method was adopted for the study and a questionnaire was used for data collection. The study population was comprised of fifty-four (54) respondents who are health researchers in the institute. The data collected were presented and analyzed using tables, frequency distribution, simple percentages, and charts. The result of the study revealed that all the respondents are aware of the availability of e-journals and attest to making use of them. The study revealed that electronic journals were mostly used for the purpose of conducting research work and the PDF format was preferred for downloading e-journals. However, it was observed that low Internet connectivity and intermittent electricity supply constitute a major obstacle to the use of e-journals. The study, therefore, recommended that the institute's management invest more resources on network connectivity, particularly its bandwidth, and ensure reliable power supply.

Based on my attendance at the CIPA International Symposium(CIPA2023) organized by the International Scientific Committee on Heritage Documentation(ICOMOS), this paper explored research cases applying digital technologies, including BIM, to architectural heritage. The researches presented at this symposium were categorized into specific areas: data acquisition, data management, data sharing&experience. Through this classification, an analysis of research cases in architectural heritage utilizing digital technology was conducted. By categorizing the 43 academic papers from the CIPA2023 based on research themes, trends in the digital architecture field were analyzed, providing insights into future research directions for the digital acquisition, management, sharing, and experiential aspects of Korean architectural heritage. In conclusion, it is deemed necessary to reference and supplement the methodologies, including algorithms, workflows, and approaches developed in each study, to effectively apply methodologies suitable for the characteristics of Korean architectural heritage and its data.

This study analyzed an operational concept for the D Information Resource Management Information System (DIRMIS) to manage any IT resources effectively in defense area. We first deduced the concept of the information resource management (IRM) for defense area from the literature review, and we suggested a guideline, which has used in defense area, of the documentation for the operational concept description (OCD). Moreover, we developed the operational concept for the DIRMIS following the guideline. Especially, this study is a practical approach for suggesting of a case, and the share of accumulated cases will contribute to advance in System Integration (SI) industry as well as academic research.

도시의 기록화는 행정영역의 기록만으로 완전할 수 없으며 다양한 방식으로 도시에서 살아가는 시민들의 기록이 함께 수집되어야 한다. 이 연구는 서울기록원의 서울시 기록화 사업 사례를 토대로, 생산되지 않았거나 훼손되어 수집되기 어려운 시민의 기억을 남기기 위한 방법을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 기록학 실천주의의 입장 아래 기록으로는 남아있지 않아도 기억에는 존재하고 일상에 스며있는 서울에 대한 다양한 경험들을 남기기 위해 다큐멘터리를 도구로 제안하였다. 다큐멘터리는 서사성의 특징을 갖는다. 이는 매우 자의적 성격을 갖지만 구술이 아닌 다큐멘터리를 새로운 방법으로 제안하는 것은 이 서사성이라는 특징 때문이다. 구술기록이 갖는 자기역사성과 그로 인해 제공되는 필요 이상의 기억들을 배제하고 수집주제에 부합하는 내용을 기록화할 수 있는 방법이다. 본문에서는 서울기록원에서 서울기록 수집으로 제안한 서사 기반의 기록 수집 방법, 그리고 그 안에서 다큐멘터리 아카이빙의 역할과 의미를 살펴보았다. 그리고 서사기반 수집 안에서 다큐멘터리 아카이빙의 방법이 필요한 조건을 제시하였다. 또한, 다큐멘터리 아카이빙을 실행하기 위한 기획·절차와 함께 2019년 서울 기록 수집 사업의 일환으로 제작된 3편의 다큐멘터리 중 한 편을 사례로 소개하였다.

문화 자연유산 분야에서 3차원 스캐닝 기술은 아직 기록과 보존, 모니터링의 도구로 활용 폭이 제한되어 있으며, 전문가들에 의해 직접 활용되지 못하고 있다. 스캔 데이터의 정밀한 기하 정보는 효과적인 가시화를 통해 전문가들의 과학적 해석을 가능하게 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 스캔 모델로부터 필요한 기하 특성을 가시화하는 렌더링 기법들을 분석하고, 스캔 데이터의 가시화 파이프라인과 렌더링 기법 및 이의 분류 체계를 제시하였다. 또한 사례연구로서, 공룡발자국 분야의 기존 연구 방법을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이에 따라 스캔 모델을 가시화하여 전문가를 대상으로 테스트를 수행하였으며 이를 통해 효과성을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 3차원 스캔 데이터를 이용하여 문화 및 자연유산을 효과적으로 해석할 수 있는 실용적 방안을 제시하였음에 의의가 있다.

기업에서는 급속한 컴퓨터 환경 변화 및 사용자 요구 증가 등의 요구들에 대응하기 위하여 많은 시간과 비용을 들여 기 개발되어 운영중인 시스템을 유지보수 한다. 하지만 대부분 임시적인 이러한 작업들은 많은 코드의 중복과 최적화 되지 않은 시스템 구조를 산출하여 결국에는 전체적인 성능 저하를 가져오는 등의 문제를 발생시키게 된다. 또한 초기 개발 후 다른 개발자에 의해 작성된 코드는 개발관련 문서의 분실 및 부족, 기존 시스템 개발자의 부재 등의 문제로 코드의 이해와 재사용의 어려움 등의 한계점을 갖게 되었다. 이번 연구는 이러한 코드 재사용의 한계를 극복하기 위하여 객체단위를 재사용 할 수 잇는 객체지향 기반의 Refactoring 프로세스를 제시하고, 이를 D사에서 개발한 윈도우 시스템 개발 도구인 D2D에 적용한다. 또한 이의 과정에서 얻어진 시스템 성능 향상과 개발 및 유지보수 비용의 감소, 구조와 클래스들의 최적화 등의 실제적인 효과 증대 사례를 보인다.

Documentary credit transactions are judged by the principle of strict compliance. The compliance of the tendered documents with the credit's teams ensures the proper completion of the underlying transaction. But if the documents tendered by beneficiary differ, a discrepancy of documents occurs. Such a discrepancy raises difficult problems for the bank to which the documents are tendered. It has to decide whether to reject or accept them or to accept them under a protective mechanism. Therefore, this study is to examine the case study of complying presentation of the description of the goods in documentary credit through the Korean Supreme Court Cases. The objectives of this paper are as follow : 1. To examine two point of views on document compliance such as strict compliance and substantial compliance. 2. To analyze Korean Case Law which challenges the legal conclusions, standard for examination of documents and New ISBP. 3. To draw out the criterion for conformity and discrepancy of description in invoices and WC and to provide the guidelines for determining the nature and extent of an issuing bank's duty of documentary compliance. 4. Finally to suggest some implications through the Korean case law. By using the examination standards for description of goods suggested in Korean Case Law and New ISBP, the traders will be able to prepare documentation more perfectly and document checkers will be able to examine the negotiation documents more easily.

Pancreatic lymphoepithelial cysts (LECs) are rare pancreatic cysts with squamous epithelial lining surrounded by dense lymphoid tissue. A preoperative diagnosis of LECs is difficult due to imaging diversity and inadequate documentation because of their rarity. We present a case of surgically confirmed pancreatic LEC with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings as heterogeneous signal intensity on T2-weighted images with multiple septa-like structures, slightly hypo-signal intensity on T1-weighted images, and thin-wall enhancement on dynamic contrast images. LECs are benign lesions without any malignant potential. Therefore, the inclusion of LEC in the differential diagnosis of cystic pancreatic lesions may reduce unnecessary surgical procedures.

This study attempts to estimate economic benefits in terms of cost sayings and qualitative effects resulting ken implementation of new vehicle maintenance information system. It is widely expected that the effect of new vehicle maintenance information system will be significant in cost savings by information sharing and electronic documentation. To evaluate the economic feasibility of new system implementation, the study conducted seven subsystems case studies on the vehicle maintenance information system of Seoul Metro. Economic benefits are estimated by measuring the time savings, in turn, are calculated into cost savings by multiplying the average wages per hour of employee. The result of case study showed that over the 20 billion Won will be saved owing to new vehicle information system implementation. In conclusion, this study will contribute to the field of practices for the most, in evaluation of the economic benefits resulting from new information system implementation in the railway organization.
