  • Since current HTML used on the internet is to use restricted tag, it is not easy to store information and extract data from information of document. XML defined newly tag and is easy to store information and extract data from information. So XML is easier to transact information rather than HTML. XML is suitable for enterprise's requirement needs data exchange between heterogeneous databases. This paper proposes web agent for data replication between heterogeneous DBMSs(Database Management System). Web agent system maneges database on the web and exchange data in heterogeneous database using XML. Then we designed and implemented for web agent of data replication between heterogeneous DBMSs.

  • XML has become a do facto standard for structured document and data on the Web. An XML data deluge over the network will be more, since XML based standards such as Web Service and Semantic Web gets popular. There are efforts to store and query XML documents in a relational database system and recent efforts focus on how to provide such operations using XPath and XQuery. In this paper, we present study about those research efforts and we propose a new scheme to stoγe and query XML documents in a relational database using XPath query. The scheme uses a 'shred' method to store and translates XPath queries to SQL. We also present our empirical experiments using a RDBMS.

  • The purpose of this treatise is to show merits and method of establishing Lotte department store design division Online Documents Communication System through illustration of examples of intranet in which internet environment convenient to use for its openness is applied for establishing Design Online Documents Communication System for fundamentals of organization. In this connection merits and effect attainable from establishing Design Outline Documents Communication System of the enterprise as found were as follows: Firstly, it brought about reduction in workload of staffs through sharing various existing resources. It reduced redundant works and enables speedy handling of works. Secondly, it was possible to exchange viewpoints and share information by pertinent parties. Thirdly, by expediting information exchange and communication among persons in charge it was possible to improve work efficiency. Fourthly, it was possible to build and operate such system at relatively low cost on the basis of web browser. Without using any other significant instrument or equipment but by linking it to business network and using existing computer system operation was possible. Fifthly, by common sharing of work exclusive to design room through on-line it was possible to improve professionalism and convenience in data preservation. Through this treatise and survey and study on process for establishing intranet it was possible to find that there were sharing work, improving work efficiency, reducing workload, saving cost and expediting communication to a significant degree.

  • XML is a standard format of web data and is currently used as a prevailing language for exchanging data. Most of the commercial data are stored in a relational database. It is quite important to convert these conventionally stored data into those for exchange and use them in data exchange, or to get the query results effectively by utilizing XQL on XML data which are store in a relational database. Thus, it is absolutely required to have a proper query processing mechanism for XML data and to maintain many XML data properly. Up to now, many cases of researches on the storage and retrieval of XML data have been carried out and under study. But, effective retrieval and storage system for path queries like XQL has yet to be contrived. Thus, in this paper, a schema to store XML data is designed, in which DFS-Numbegering method is used to store data effectively. And an effective path query processing method is also designed and implemented, in which a traditional relational database engine is used. That is, XQL is converted into SQL with a XQL processor if a user makes query XQL in a system. A database system executes SQL, and a XML generator uses a generated record and makes a XML document.

  • In a situation where the use and introduction of Large Language Models (LLMs) is expanding due to recent developments in generative AI technology, it is difficult to find actual application cases or implementation methods for the use of internal company data in existing studies. Accordingly, this study presents a method of implementing generative AI services using the LLM application architecture using the most widely used LangChain framework. To this end, we reviewed various ways to overcome the problem of lack of information, focusing on the use of LLM, and presented specific solutions. To this end, we analyze methods of fine-tuning or direct use of document information and look in detail at the main steps of information storage and retrieval methods using the retrieval augmented generation (RAG) model to solve these problems. In particular, similar context recommendation and Question-Answering (QA) systems were utilized as a method to store and search information in a vector store using the RAG model. In addition, the specific operation method, major implementation steps and cases, including implementation source and user interface were presented to enhance understanding of generative AI technology. This has meaning and value in enabling LLM to be actively utilized in implementing services within companies.

  • The aim of the research is to focus on the cognitive principles and to achieve human-level intelligence in referring context based browser history and the Windows history. One of the major problems faced by today's computer users is insufficient and single exclusive context based reference of the browser history and the Windows history. Today we search for the browser history and Windows history in different places even though the context is the same. For e.g., When working on a research paper or preparing a business presentation, a user may require to refer many web sites on the internet and various documents on the local computer. The browser can provide only time based history. The windows document history is also time based and limited to list only few documents. Hence, we propose a tool "Cognitive Based Context Aware Reference History Management Tool" which helps to access the exclusive reference of context and time based history in one place. The tool also proposes to store image history with urls and classifies images of a specific topic accessed in different time, bookmarks management and cross browser history management. These features are very useful as we can access all related documents (doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pdf, txt, and html), web pages, images and bookmarks in one place. The tool uses the cognitive principles like classification and association to achieve the purpose.

  • The widespreading of XML as a standard for semi-structured documents on the Web opens up challenging opportunities for Web query language. And UML is a graphical language to represent the result of object-oriented analysis and design. In this paper, we introduce an UML-based graphical query language for XML documents. The use of a visual formalism for representing the syntax and semantics of queries enables an intuitive expression of queries, even when they are rather complex. And, it is matched a series of processes to store and retrieve XML documents to OODBMS with the use of an uniform visualization for representing both the content of XML documents (and of their DTD) and the syntax and semantics of queries.

  • With the growth of World Wide Web, multimedia electronic documents have been frequently used in a lot of applications. Especially, digital libraries tliat deal with huge and various multimedia electronic documents need to support efficient searcli techniques and systematical management techniques. In this paper, we suggest an extended Dublin Core metadata to store and search the multimedia electronic documents managed at digital libraries. We also design a document database schema based on the extended Dublin Core metadata and implement a svstem, called xD-MMS which manages the multimedia electronic documents.

  • Video data are retrieved and stored in various compressed forms according to their characteristics. In this paper, we present a generic data model that captures the structure of a video document and that provides a means for indexing a video stream. Using this model, we design and implement CVIMS (the MPEG-2 Compressed Video Information Management System) to store and retrieve video documents. CVIMS extracts I-frames from MPEG-2 TS files, selects key-frames from the I-frames, and stores in database the index information such as thumbnails, captions, and picture descriptors of the key-frames. And, CVIMS retrieves MPEG-2 video data using the thumbnails of key-frames and various labels of queries. And also, the system is accessible by a web interface.

  • For effective web-based teaching and learning, it is necessary to estimate. whether activities for it have attained to the learning goal. In HTML and file based item pool systems, it is difficult to manage, to create questions into various forms, and to share with other systems. It is also not easy to provide suitable questions according to the level of learners. On the contrary, XML document can systematically create a structured information. Since XML represents a structure with meaningful information units, it can be effectively used to manage, search, and store documents. Therefore, we designed and implemented a web-based item pool system based on XML, which can support leveled assessment by analyzing the level of learners and providing appropriate questions according to it.
