The usable output of glassware formation production line depends, among other factors, on the weight and shape of a lump of hot molten glass called a gob. In this paper, an automated image processing system for monitoring gob weight and shape on a production line is proposed. Present techniques often rely on manual weighing of gobs on a sample basis by manually controlling the gob feeder. The proposed automated image monitoring system checks the weight and shape of every free-falling gob before it reaches the mould. In this system, the estimated weight of the gob is sufficiently close to its actual weight.

안테나의 특성 중 지향성(Directivity)과 관계있는 방사 패턴을 측정하기 위한 저가의 근역장 측정 시스템을 설계한다. 근역장 측정방법은 평면주사법에 기반을 둔 개선된 원통형 주사법 공식을 이용한다. 고가의 측정 장비인 네트워크 분석기를 대체하기 위한 방법을 제시하고 필요한 장치 규격을 제안한다.

M-Commerce에서 전자 서명은 필수적인 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 PKI를 기반으로 모바일 단말기에서 약정이나 계약을 체결할 수 있는 전자 서명 시스템을 설계 구현한 예를 보인다. 이를 위해 XML 구조의 계약서를 저작할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고, 계약서를 관리하는 서버와 PDA 단말기 상에서 전자 서명하는 모듈 그리고 고객이 계약을 확인할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다.

인터넷의 빠른 발전으로 인터넷은 무선 인터넷이라는 형태로 거듭 발전하고 있다. 그러나 많은 기업의 무선인터넷 보급에도 불구하고 사용자는 극소수에 이른다. 무선 인터넷의 더 빠른 보급을 위해 학생이라면 꼭 사용해야하는 학사정보 시스템을 구축하여 대학에서부터 그 혁명을 이끌어 가고 무선이라는 특수성을 이용하여 시간적 공간적 제약을 없애 학생들의 학사 편의에 그 목적을 가진다.

The high prices and lack of information for satellite images prevent researchers from studying remote sensing and most non-professional people can't have the simple and easy solutions for the manipulation of satellite images. 'Satellite Imagery Information Management Center'(SIMC) project which is promoted by ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) from 2002 to 2005 in Korea have the purpose to provide the satellite images freely to the public domain and the solutions for the above mentioned problems. Our project have the following five systems; Data Acquisition System, Data Preservation System, Integrated Solution System, Technology Development System, Operation Plan System. Data Acquisition System collects the satellite images such as LANDSAT, IKONOS, etc. Data Preservation System consists of database which registers the diverse satellite images. Integrated Solution System gives the user of public domain for the web service which search, order and transfer the satellite images. Technology Development System has the many processing technologies for the satellite images. Finally, the Operation Plan system has the role to plan the future of our SIMC project. In this paper, we will give the result of SIMC Project for each five systems during the fast four years from 2002 to 2005.

본 연구에서는 최근 네트워크 기술의 발전으로 가정 내 정보가전기기의 네트워크가 중요해지는 점에 따라 기존의 네트워크 기반의 홈 오토메이션 시스템의 단점을 극복할 HCAS(implementation of house customize automation system based on smart-phone)를 구현하고자 하였다. 기존의 단점으로는 필요한 기능을 사용자에 따라 쉽게 변경하지 못하는 점과 홈 오토메이션 시스템의 높은 비용 등이 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기위해 Customize 즉, 사용자의 선택에 따라 제어 가능한 가전기기의 추가 및 제거가 가능한 기능을 구현하였고 ZigBee기술을 사용함으로써 저 전력 무선네트워크를 구현하였다. 그리고 최근의 이슈인 스마트폰을 이용함으로써 기존의 월패드형 이나 리모컨형의 불편한 휴대성을 보완하였고 직관적이며 이미지기반의 사용자 인터페이스는 HCAS의 사용자들이 시스템 제어를 조금 더 편리하고 쉽게 할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 실제로 제작한 모델 하우스에 적용시켜보고 추후의 연구 방향을 제시 하였다.

Photonic switching systems with throughput above Tbit/s are reuried to transport vast amounts of information for the coming B-ISDN. In this paper, we proposed a new time-division hybrid WDM photonic swithc architecture, the proposed basic switch module has simple configuratin consisted of frequency routers for wavelength division and cell coders and star couplers for time division. Through the comparison with other sysems in field of switching capacity, hardware complexity and cost effect of implemetnation, we proved that the proposed system is suitable for large-capacity photonic switching system.

Recently many organizations have attempted to build hypermedia systems to expand their working areas to internet-based virtual work places. It is thus important to manage corporate hypermedia documents effectively. Metadata play a critical role for managing these documents. This paper identifies metadata roles and components to build its schema. Furthermore a meta-information system HyDoMiS(Hyperdocument Meta-information System) is proposed by the use of this metadata schema. HyDoMiS performs three functions metadata management search and reporting The metadata management function is concerned with workflow document and database. The system is more likely to help implement and maintsain hypermedia information system effectively.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to suggest a key quality factor affecting user satisfaction based on quality attribute of weather information system and additionally, a managerial implication for activating weather information service market by analyzing causal relevance between weather information system and business performance. Methods: As its method, a causal relevance of quality factor of weather information system affecting satisfaction and business performance was analyzed by using structural equation model. An enterprise utilized in analysis sample performed a survey by targeting 186 distribution/logistics and general manufacturing company. Results: It was revealed that information, service quality of weather information system exerted a significant influence on user satisfaction and it did not take a significant influence on business performance in terms of quality of information, system and service. A significant relevance between user satisfaction and business performance was strong supported. Finally, it was revealed that utilization level of weather information system had a moderating effect on business performance. Conclusion: Domestic weather information system mainly focused on information utilization based weather information system and additional service level utilizing weather information is very low in practical terms. Therefore, in order to expand domestic weather related service market, systematic market expansion strategy of providing corporate customized service and case enlargement would be required.
