전기 유압 매니플레이터의 강건 힘 제어 (Robust Force Control of a 6-Link Electro-Hydraulic Manipulator)

  • An electro-hydraulic manipulator using hydraulic actuators has many nonlinear elements, and its parameter fluctuations are greater than those of an electrically driven manipulator. So it is relatively difficult to realize not only stable contact work but also accurate force control for the autonomous assembly tasks using hydraulic manipulators. In this report, we applied a compliance control which is based on the position control by a disturbance observer for our manipulator system. And a reference trajectory modification method is proposed in order to achieve accurate force control even though the stiffness and position of environment change. Experimental results show that highly robust force tracking by a 6-link electro-hydraulic manipulator could be achieved under various environment conditions.

기준 슬립 발생기 및 적응 슬라이딩 모드 기법을 이용한 철도차량 제동력 제어 (Adhesive Force Control of Railway Rolling Stock Using Reference Slip Generator and Adaptive Sliding-mode Technique)

  • In the braking of railway rolling stock, the slip that is the relative velocity between train body and its wheel affects the adhesive force which is connected to the braking force. The coefficient of the adhesive force changes in accordance with the slip and the condition of a rail road. Namely, its value increases upon the maximum on a rail condition, and there it declines conversely while the magnitude of slip keeps rising on. First, this paper introduced a reference slip generator so that can utilize maximum adhesive forces with a disturbance observer for estimating unmeasurable current adhesive forces which is as an input of the generator. And, an adaptive sliding-mode control system has been synthesized for minimizing the error between reference and current slip. Finally the effectiveness of the proposed control system is evaluated by computer simulation.

  • The disturbance observer (DOB) has been widely utilized for high precision/speed motion control applications. However, it still lacks the analysis for the robustness and performance brought by using DOB. This paper proposes the robustness measure of DOB and reveals the relationships between the disturbance rejection performance and the order/time constant of a Q filter in DOB. Additionally, we propose six guidelines for the design of Q filter and show their validity through the experiments for DVD systems.

  • In order to minimize vibration problems of rotating machinery rotors have been assembled through balancing machines. Since perfect balancing is impossible, residual unbalances cause serious vibration while the rotor is in high speed region. To minimize unbalance effects of magnetic bearing systems (AMB) during rotation on-line balancing methodology was studied. Unbalances were considered as disturbances of the system. The disturbance observer was used to estimate unbalance force from measurable state and input variables. Balancing inputs computed according to LQR and outputs of the observer were applied to eliminate unbalances during high speed rotation of the AMB. the effectiveness of the on-line balancing was verified through numerical simulations.

능동 현가 장치의 외란 적응 슬라이딩 모드 제어 (Active Suspension using Disturbance Accommodating Sliding Mode Control)

  • This paper presents a disturbance accommodating sliding mode control for a quarter-car active suspension using an electro-hydraulic actuator. The electro-hydraulic actuator model is nonlinear and uncertain. The hardware constrains on the actuator prevent high gain in a sliding mode control, which deteriorates the force tracking performance. DAC(Disturbance Accommodating Control) is combined with the sliding mode control to improve the tracking performance. DAC observer estimates the pressure due to the actuator uncertainty. The additional control is designed to compensate the estimated pressure. Simulation results show the improved tracking performance with the Proposed control methods.

  • Among many servo control systems in steel making plant, AGC system in hot rolling mill is very important to get a accurate strip thickness for good quality. AGC (Auto Gauge Control) system controls the roll gap to maintain the required thickness by using the variation of roll force and the measure of output thickness. In this paper, a simulator of AGC system which unifies both hydraulic servo control system and AGC algorithm is suggested. After proving the concurrence of algorithms between the simulator and real system, main actuator system is added. Instead of usual PI system used in present system, DOB control scheme is applied and shows the effect of disturbance attenuation well.

  • 이 연구는 알고 있는 단일 주기를 갖는 정적 및 주기적 외란의 제거에 대해서 다룬다. 자기력 부상시스템에서 외란력을 능동적으로 제거하기 위해서는 제어 입력이 두 가지 다른 이득 값을 가져야 한다. 하나는 시스템의 안정적 제어를 위한 부분이고 다른 하나는 외부로부터 시스템에 영향을 미치는 외란력의 제거를 위한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 평형 빔을 안정 적으로 제어하기 위해서 간단한 상태 궤환 제어기를 채용하며, 외부로부터 시스템에 영향을 미치는 외란 성분을 추정하기 위해서 선형 관측기를 채용한다. 또한 자속의 궤환에 의해서 구성된 제어 전류는 관측기에 의해서 관측된 외란력과 외란력을 억제하려는 전자석의 힘의 차로 나타나며 이들 관계는 선형성을 유지한다. 이 선형성은 본질적으로 비선형성을 갖고 있는 자기력 부상 시스템에 대한 수치 해석적 용이함을 제공하며 이 논문에서 다루는 정적 및 주기외란의 제거를 위해서 우수한 성능을 발휘한다. 모의시험 결과는 제안된 제어 기법에 의한 정적 및 주기적 외란의 제거를 입증한다.

고성능 자동피킹 시스템을 위한 선형 유도 모터의 고이득 관측기 기반의 강인 추종 제어 (High Gain Observer-based Robust Tracking Control of LIM for High Performance Automatic Picking System)

  • 고정밀도와 고속응성의 물류 이송을 위한 자동피킹 시스템 (Automatic Picking System; APS) 구동용 선형 유도 모터 드라이브의 설계 기법 및 고이득 관측기 기반의 강인 속도 제어 기법이 제안된다. APS에 존재하는 외란추력, 질량 및 마찰계수 등의 기계적 파라미터 불확정성은 시스템의 속도 제어 성능에 직접적인 영향을 주며 이러한 불확정성 하에서도 강인한 속도 응답 성능을 보유하는 속도 제어기가 요구된다. 시스템의 불확정성을 효과적으로 추정할 수 있는 고이득 관측기를 통해 외란이 추정되며 시스템의 불확정성을 제거하기 위해 추정된 외란이 제어입력에 전향제어 방식으로 보상된다. 기존의 외란 관측기가 질량 변화에 기인한 시변 외란을 효과적으로 보상하는 데에 한계가 있는 반면 제안된 속도 제어 시스템은 외란추력 및 질량 변화 하에서도 강인한 속도 추종 성능을 제공한다. 선형 유도 모터의 모델을 위한 Simulink 라이브러리가 상태방정식으로부터 개발되며 이를 활용한 Matlab - Simulink 기반의 비교 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 방식이 강인한 속도 응답 성능을 가지며 고정밀도와 고속응성을 요구하는 APS에 적합함이 입증된다.

But an electro-hydraulic manipulator using hydraulic actuators has many nonlinear elements, and its parameter fluctuations are greater than those of electrically driven manipulator. So it is relatively difficult to realize not only stable contact work but also accurate force control for the autonomous field tasks such as the maintenance task of high voltage active electric line or the automatic excavation task by hydraulic excavator.   • In a hydraulic control system, since a hydraulic cylinder drives a relatively large mass of an object, an external load force acts as a disturbance on the control performance of the system. Additionally, as the hydraulic system is used for a long period, there are disturbances that occur gradually, such as a drop in supply pressure because of abrasion of the pump, oil leakage from a valve, and oil leakage from a cylinder. In this study, a state feedback controller based on a linearization technique is applied. To prevent the performance degradation of the controller from the load disturbance, an Extended Luenberger observer (ELO) is used for the Extended system. The case of using the proportional controller, which is a representative linear controller, and the result of using the controller designed in this study are compared and reviewed through simulation. Also, we propose an experimental gain-setting method for a state feedback controller that can be used at industrial sites, and examine how the stability and control performance of the system changes because of the disturbance inputs through the experimental results.
