The Study was carried out for the purpose of investigating the degree of perception in nursing activities. This study reports perceptions of nurses on the choices they make among competing activities, contrasts this perception with their opinion of what tasks they would like to spend time on. A sample of 231 clinical nurses was selected to participate in this study at two genernal hospitals in Seoul. The data was collected from July 10th to 25th, 1990. Subjects were instructed to rate one of five points likert type scale on the 43 items of nursing activities. Analysis of data was done by means of the SPSS-X Program using frequency, t-test and ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The characteristics of the subjects were as follows: The age group of 25-29 yeares was 45.9%. For religion, Christians had the highest score, 68.4 % and singles in subjects were 81.4%. For academic background, 64.5% were graduated from nursing junior colleges. In the subjects, staff nurses were 86.6%. 22.5% of them had worked for less than 1 year and 20.8% had 37 months to 5 years experience at the time of the survey. 62.8% were satisfied with the job. 2. The perception level of nursing activities: 1) The mean score for perception of professional nursing functions was 4.157 point, with a maximum score set. at 5 points. The mean score for perception of priorities was 3.781. Perception of spending time was 3.932. 2) In perception of professional nursing functions, more important items were Aseptic technique (4.866), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients(4.654), Observing patients (4.799). Less important items were Transporting patients(3.411), Changing linens(3.442), Giving a bed shampoo (3.506). In priorities, more important ones. were Aseptic technique(4, 706), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients (4.524.), Observing patients(4.390), Taking vital signs (4.355). And less important ones were Changing linens (3.100), Giving bed baths(3.113), Giving back rubs(3.121). In spending time, more important ones were Aseptic technique(1.706), Observing patients (4.532), Shift and exchange of information concerning patients(4.532). And less important ones were Changing lines(3.368), Transporting patients(3.394), Giving bed baths(3.450). 3) In the role perception level, the mean distribution of perception was 3.511- 4.335; the role was perceived to be in order of frequency as a facilitator, coordinator, change agent and advocator role. The most important scale of factors by nursing activities was indirect nursing activities.
This study was conducted to construct a empirical yield table for Pinus densiflora in real forest. Since existing normal yield tables have been derived by studying and analyzing communities in ideal environment for tree growth, those tables provide more over-estimated values than ones from real forest. Because of this, there are some difficulties to apply the tables to empirical forest except for normal forest. In this study, therefore, we estimated stand growth for real forest on P. densiflora as the representative species of conifers. We used 1,957 sample plot data of P. densiflora in central Korea from National Forest Inventory (NFI) system, and analyzed through estimation, recovery and prediction in order by using Weibull function as a diameter distribution model. Weilbull and Schumacher models were applied for estimating mean DBH and mean basel area and it was found that the site index for P. densiflora in central Korea ranges from 8 to 14 at reference age 30. According to site 12 in the stand yield table, the Mean Annual Increment (MAI) of P. densiflora was $4.42m^3/ha$ at 30 years of age. Compared to existing volume table constructed before, it is showed that MAI of this study were lower. According to the paired t-test that is conducted with the gap of volume values between normal forest and real forest by site index and age, the P-value was less than 0.001 which is recognized to have a statistically significant difference. Based on the results in this study, it is considered to be helpful for practical management and management policy on P. densiflora in central Korea.
The study was carried out to suggest on opinion of the standardization of size deviation in the existing raw silk testing method. 1. The present grade A of size deviation stipulates 4.61 to 5.80 of standard deviation for 50 to 69 denier of mean value, however, the 5.80 standard deviation with the mean values of 50 and 69 denier belong to different distribution. 2. It is reasonable that the variation coefficients of grade 2A should be lower than that of grade A. However, the present testing method shows larger variation in grade 2A than in grade A. This is illustrated 9.00 for 69 denier in grade 2A and 8.41 for 70 denier in grade A. 3. The size deviation value compares the quality of raw silk with different mean value. Therefore, the standard deviation is recommended to be replaced by the C.V. value in determining the grade of silk. 4. The C.V. have a tendency to increase with lower grades below 6A for the size deviation below 33 denier with some inconsistencies. The figures should be adjusted so that the C.V. inconsistencies size deviation below 33 denier will be corrected. 5. The standard deviation increases with size under the same grade for the size deviations above 33 denier, however, the C.V. does not vary greatly with size deviation. 6. To rectify the above-mentioned inconsistencies the C.V. conversion and curvilinear regresion correction is recommended to improve the present silk testing method 7. The table of size deviation standard are as follows: Suggested standard of size deviation, unit: C.V. Value

Every plant in $990m^2$ onion field was inspected for damages by the onion maggot. Maps were constructed every ten days to show which plants were infested and which were not from April 11 to May 21, 1984. The maps were sectioned into squares one of which contains 80 onion plants and the counts of damaged onions in each square were fitted to poisson and negative binomial distribution and tested by chi-square. We argue that the satisfactory fitness of the expected negative binomial $[P(x^2)>0.05]$ provided a useful description of the spatial distribution patterns of the damaged onions. Edge effect was tested by the differences of damage ratio and variance/mean ratio (${\sigma}^2/m$) between edge and center part. The result showed that the damage ratioes and variances of all the periods, ${\sigma}^2/m$ values after May 1 were greater in edge part than in center part. Again, the maps were sectioned into four blocks and the squares (sample units) were sectioned into quadrants. By application of the variance component technique, it was suggested that $2{\sim}8$ sample units for 5% sampling error and $1{\sim}2$ sample units for 10% error should be sampled randomly to estimate the damage ratio when $2{\sim}3$ quadrants were inspected.

It is for the purpose of investigating the tritium distribution in the leachates, the raw and treated leachates and the condensates of the methane gas, which have occurred from domestic solid waste landfills. Also it aims to measure the tritium distribution level on the colloid size of the leachates, the raw and treated leachates. It was found that the major inorganic contaminants of the leachates were Na, K, Ca, Mg, $NH{_4}^+$-N and $Cl^-$. The mean tritium level of the raw leachates of the investigated 13 landfill sites for 6 months was 17 ~ 1196 TU. It corresponded to a several scores or hundreds of magnitude higher value than that of the normal environmental sample level except for two landfill sites. Also such a high concentration of the tritium was found in the treated leachates and methane gas condensates as well. Nevertheless it is important to emphasize that the tritium level which was found in this research is about 100 times lower than the tritium limit for the drinking water quality. And most of the tritium existed in the dissolved colloid of the leachate of which the colloid size is below $0.45{\mu}m$. Also, according to the tritium analysis results of the leachates after filtration with $0.45{\mu}m$ membrane filter for some landfills, it is likely that some tritium of the leachate would be distributed in a colloid size over $0.45{\mu}m$. In general the relationship between the tritium and other contaminants in the raw leachate was low, but it was relatively high between the tritium and TOC. However, the tritium content in the leachate had no meaningful relationship with the scale, hydrological characteristics and age of the landfill.
We have studied the orientational characteristics of microcrack frequency, it's length and density in Tertiary crystalline tuff from the northeastern part of the Gyeongsang Basin. 134 sets of microcracks on horizontal surfaces of 3 rock samples from Heunghae-eup were distinguished by enlarged photomicrographs of the thin sections. The variability in patterns among microcrack length-frequency histograms for three rock samples from different altitudes were derived. The pattern of histograms changes progressively from negative exponential form to log-normal form in proportion to altitude. The distribution pattern for rock sample no.1 from lower altitude shows the broad length distribution characterized by higher mean and median, and higher standard deviation. Meanwhile, this distribution pattern corresponds with characteristics of joint length distribution in sedimentary rocks of the lower part of the Gyeongsang Supergroup. The occurrence frequency of shorter microcracks increases toward both NW and NE directions from the $N0{\sim}10^{\circ}W$, with the dominant direction of $N80{\sim}90^{\circ}W$ and $N80{\sim}90^{\circ}E$, respectively. This distribution pattern represents the relative differences in formation timing among microcrack sets and the result of the new initiation of shorter microcracks. Meanwhile, the longest microcracks within $N60{\sim}70^{\circ}W$($L_{max}$:1.18 mm) and $N0{\sim}10^{\circ}W$($L_{max}$:0.80 mm) directions are seen, but this kind of microcracks are very limited in number. Whole domain of the directional angle($\theta$)-frequency(N), length(L) and density($\rho$) chart can be divided into five sections in terms of phases of the distribution of related curves. From the distribution chart, density curve shows five distinct peaks in the WNW-ESE($N70{\sim}80^{\circ}W$), NS~NNE-SSW($N0{\sim}10^{\circ}W$, $N10{\sim}20^{\circ}E$), ENE-WSW($N50{\sim}60^{\circ}E$), and nearly EW($N80{\sim}90^{\circ}E$) directions, respectively. Especially, main directions of faults correspond with the directional angle showing high density. Consequently, these distribution patterns of density curve reflect the representative maximum principal stress orientations suggested in previous studies.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to evaluate the distribution of urine cadmium levels of residents in the surrounding areas of an industrial complex. Methods: During the period of three month from August to October 2012, informed consent was obtained from a total of 362 residents in Kwangyang and Yeosu. We collected urine sample from all subjects and their demographic characteristics, including alcohol drinks and smoking habits, using a questionnaire. The urine samples were analyzed using atomic absorption spectrometer. Results: The urinary cadmium geometric mean concentration of total participants was $0.87{\mu}g/g\;cr$. The results of this study showed that higher urine cadmium levels were observed in females and some subjects with a higher level of education level and a lower BMI. Also, those subjects who preferred to take vegetables and took fish 3 days before urine sampling procedure revealed higher urine cadmium concentrations. The urine cadmium concentrations of subjects in the exposed area($0.91{\mu}g/g\;cr$) were significantly higher than those in the control area($0.78{\mu}g/g\;cr$). Conclusions: An additional study is needed to assess health risks of residents in the vicinity of environment-unfriendly areas, coupled with endeavors to examine possible heavy metals contamination factors that may affect the human body.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the socioeconomic inequality in malnutrition in under-5 children in Iran in order to help policymakers reduce such inequality. Methods: Data on 8443 under-5 children were extracted from the Iran Multiple Indicator Demographic and Health Survey. The wealth index was used as proxy for socioeconomic status. Socioeconomic inequality in stunting, underweight, and wasting was calculated using the concentration index. The concentration index was calculated for the whole sample, as well as for subcategories defined in terms of categories such as area of residence (urban and rural) and the sex of children. Results: Stunting was observed to be more prevalent than underweight or wasting. The results of the concentration index at the national level, as well as in rural and urban areas and in terms of children's sex, showed that inequality in stunting and underweight was statistically significant and that children in the lower quintiles were more malnourished. The wasting index was not sensitive to socioeconomic status, and its concentration index value was not statistically significant. Conclusions: This study showed that it can be misleading to assess the mean levels of malnutrition at the national level without knowledge of the distribution of malnutrition among socioeconomic groups. Significant socioeconomic inequalities in stunting and underweight were observed at the national level and in both urban and rural areas. Regarding the influence of nutrition on the health and economic well-being of preschool-aged children, it is necessary for the government to focus on taking targeted measures to reduce malnutrition and to focus on poorer groups within society who bear a greater burden of malnutrition.

The importance of processes in cryogenic environments is increasing in a way to address problems such as critical dimension (CD) narrow and bottlenecks in micro-processing. Accordingly, in this paper, we proceed with the design and analysis of Electrostatic Chuck(ESC) and Coolant in cryogenic environments, and present optimal model conditions to provide the temperature distribution analysis of ESC in these environments and the appropriate optimal design. The wafer temperature uniformity was selected as the reference model that the operating conditions of the refrigerant of the liquid nitrogen in the doubled aluminum path were excellent. Design of simulation (DOS) was carried out based on the wheel settings within the selected reference model and the classification of three mass flow and diameter case, respectively. The comparison between factors with p-value less than 0.05 indicates that the optimal design point is when five turns of coolant have a flow rate of 0.3 kg/s and a diameter of 12 mm. ANOVA determines the interactions between the above factor, indicating that mass flow is the most significant among the parameters of interests. In variable selection procedure, Case 2 was also determined to be superior through the two-Sample T-Test of the mean and variance values by dividing five coolant wheels into two (Case 1 : 2+3, Case 2: 3+2). Finally, heat transfer analysis processes such as final difference method (FDM) and heat transfer were also performed to demonstrate the feasibility and adequacy of the analysis process.
This study aims to understand why the sales volume and the number of visitors are different in each rural tourism village. The study considered that the management and operation of rural tourism villages is one of the major influencing factors. To prove this, the study determined what factors were related to the management and operation of villages and derived detailed items to evaluate them. In the study, the researchers conducted an in-depth interview and a literature review on the management and operation of rural tourism villages in Yangpyeong-gun. They also performed a case study on the Sumi village, one of the successfully managed and operated villages in Yangpyeong-gun, to determine the detailed items. As a result, seven factors were identified. These factors comprise operation entity, governance, shared vision, leadership, efficient role-playing, marketing efforts, and equity in profit distribution. Based on these seven factors, 85 of the evaluation items were developed. The management and operation scores of 85 items were measured and summed for each of the 21 rural tourism villages. First, 21 villages were divided into two groups by the sales figures to derive items to determine the difference in the mean value of the evaluation scores. Second, an independent sample t-test was conducted for each village at YangPyeong-gun. Third, the study divided the 21 villages into four groups using 46 evaluation items. Finally, the study's researchers clarified some challenges to solve and appropriate management and operation plans considering each type of rural tourism village.
