  • Recently, the blockchain platform is changing the art market. Changes are taking place in many areas, including artists, collectors, art investors, and auction. The platform that provides distribution history information on artworks on a blockchain basis can be used when information on the work history is suspected or needs verification, and can be used to manage the distribution history information of stolen and lost artworks and confiscated artworks by the police. Several companies currently operate these platforms, but they operate various blockchain platforms according to their contents. In this paper, we will compare and analyze features of artworks blockchain platform.

  • It is necessary to improve mechanical and optical properties in the optical disk substrates as the information storage density using short wavelength laser are being developed. The birefringence distribution is regarded as one of the most important optical properties for optical disk. In the present study, the birefringence distrubution is calculated using the Leonov model for viscoelastic constitutive equations and Cross/WLF model for viscosity approximation. The effects of processing conditions upon the development of birefringence discosity approximation. The effects of processing conditions upon the development of birefringence distribution in the optical disk were examined theoretically. It was found that the values of the birefringence distributions were very sensitive to the mold wall temperature history which minimizes the birefringence distribution. The analytical results showed the possibility of improving mechanical and optical properties in the optical disk substrates by active control of the mold wall temperature history.

  • The first part of this thesis discusses the Pearson's Curve Family which gives $\beta$distribution, $\Gamma$-distribution, $X^2$-distribution and t-distribution. The second part of this thesis gives some brief process of calculations for normal distribution density and t-distribution density by the 7-th type Curve of Pearson's Curve Family. Finally, a conclusion arrives that Student(Gosset) could not find out his famous 'Student's t-distribution' without his attending of 'Pearson's Differential Equation' class taught by Pearson himself when he was a senior student. However, if he had got a professorship at the Pearson Statistics Laboratory, the University of London, then he could not have found 'Student's t-distribution' for small sampling technique of modern statistics.

  • Purpose - The study investigates the history, production methods, market scale, and distribution of the traditional liquors of three countries: South Korean sokokju, Chinese shaoxing-chiew, and Japanese sake. These have similar production methods, being made from rice or cereal, cores of their respective food industries. Research design, data, and methodology - The study investigated the history of the three liquors, liquor classification in the three countries, and production methods. It examined the scale of the traditional liquor market and these countries' distribution structure. Results - Brand cognition of traditional liquors is affected by a focus on wellbeing and LOHAS (lifestyle of health and sustainability). Promotion and marketing strategies along with a high quality image, shelf life of draft liquor, traditional liquor identification systems, and high taxes on traditional liquor, and the need for continuous R&D and training of professionals all impacted the industry. Conclusions - These countries play important roles in world trade, seeking economic integration. By forming a free trade agreement (FTA), their traditional liquors, with a proud history, can be jointly branded in the world market.

  • Red cell alloantibodies other than naturally occurring anti-A or anti-B are called unexpected red cell antibodies, and can be detected by performing an antibody screening. The frequency and distribution of unexpected antibody identified in Asan Medical Center were analyzed. We investigated a total of 135,238 cases of antibody screening test in AMC for 3 years from 2010 to 2012. Using column agglutination techniques, antibody identification tests were performed for the cases with positive antibody screening. Among 135,238 cases, 854 (0.6%) cases showed positive results of antibody screening test. In the order of frequency, 284 (33.3%) anti-Rh, 89 (10.4%) anti-MNS, 62 (7.3%) anti-Lewis, 34 (4.0%) anti-Kidd, 10 (1.2%) anti-Duffy, and 9 (1.1%) anti-P were identified. Multiple antibodies were detected in 199 (23.3%) cases. Among 381 subjects investigated for transfusion history, 299 (78.5%) had history of transfusion while 82 (21.5%) had unknown history. Thus the incidence of unexpected antibody was higher in the group with history of transfusion than the group without (p<0.001). Also, among 435 subjects investigated for the history of pregnancy, 46 (10.6%) had no history while 389 (89.4%) had history of pregnancy, showing higher incidence of unexpected antibody in the group with history of pregnancy than the group without pregnancy (p<0.001). Evaluated amounts and frequency of antigen exposure due to transfusion and pregnancy is suggested to increase the frequency of identification of unexpected antibody.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution and correlation of stroke risk factor according to age with stroke patients. This study was based on clinical data registered in Daejeon Oriental Medical Hospital from November 2006 to December 2010. Study subjects consisted of 779 patients with stroke within 1 month and they were classified according to age and existence of past history such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, ischemic heart diseaseand stroke family history. Stroke family history was distributed differently according to age unlike past history and in their 50's showed a particularly high rate. There was not statistically significant correlation between stroke family history and past history except for only between stroke family history and diabetes mellitus in the patients in their 80's and more. There was statistically significant correlation between hypertension and diabetes mellitus and especially in the patients in their 60's and 70's. There was statistically significant correlation between hypertension and ischemic heart disease and especially in the patients in their 80's and more. There was statistically significant correlation between diabetes mellitus and ischemic heart disease in the patients in their 60's. There was statistically significant correlation among hypertension, diabetes mellitus and ischemic heart disease, but stroke family history and past history had independence, so management and research for this subject should be required further and further.

  • Accurate peak response estimation of a seismically excited structure with frictional damping system (FDS) is very difficult since the structure with FDS shows nonlinear behavior dependent on the structural period, loading characteristics, and relative magnitude between the frictional force and the excitation load. Previous studies have estimated the peak response of the structure with FDS by replacing a nonlinear system with an equivalent linear one or by employing the response spectrum obtained based on nonlinear time history and statistical analysis. In case that earthquake excitation is defined probabilistically, corresponding response of the structure with FDS becomes to have probabilistic distribution. In this study, nonlinear time history analyses were performed for the structure with FDS subjected to artificial earthquake excitation generated using Kanai-Tajimi filter. An equation for the probability density function (PDF) of the displacement response is proposed by adapting the PDF of the normal distribution. Coefficients of the proposed PDF are obtained by regression of the statistical distribution of the time history responses. Finally, the correlation between the resulting PDFs and statistical response distribution is investigated.

  • This study discusses in terms of historical genesis whether it is reasonable for Bayes to introduce a prior uniform distribution. In this study, we try to analyze the way he dealt with postulates, lemmas, and propositions in Bayes' essay and to understand its characteristics. The results of the study show that Bayes used random variables for two parameters and that the two random variables were converted to each other through cumulative distribution. Furthermore, it is revealed that the introduction of prior uniform distribution can be justified by this way.
