This paper described the verification of modeling technique of underground distribution from comparison between field test and simulation. It needs more exact transient phenomenon analysis model to establish lightning protection of underground distribution line. Although, there were a lot of transient phenomenon researches, nobody could has verified the confidence of modeling from field tests in interior until now. So, simulation model verified field test is needed to analyse transient phenomenon of underground distribution system. The examination must be accomplished in many different condition before suggesting these verified analysis model. In this paper, the conditions were examined and the various data results on the different line composition was compared with the EMTP simulation, when the lightning impulse test was accomplished at underground distribution line. Also the value between field test and simulation was very closed and the method of modeling has demonstrated confidence, when the method is used to analyse domestic transient phenomenon of underground distribution.
Purpose - The Education Ministry has plans to select top 10 percent academic journals among the domestic registration journals in NRF(National Research Foundation of Korea), and designate them as outstanding academic journals. To reflect this trend, KODISA has set its sights on paper publication rate and citation index with pushing forward globalism. First, this study will arrange the process of globalism and the current state of paper submission, and propose the direction of improvement in academic journals through understanding the characteristics of each major field. Research design, data, and methodology - KODISA has preceeded in examining and publishing research papers related to distribution field through indirectly or stimulating academic advancement. KODISA covers the whole fields in social science as well as in business administration and economics that associated with distribution field not limiting only within the range of distribution field. That is, the new subject that contributes to the progress in distribution field with original research can be a priority criteria in KODISA journal publication. Results - The major fields in papers published in KODISA can be categorized broadly as distribution field with economic and business administration point of view. Therefore, the distribution field with economic point of view includes the issues such as regulations, system, industry, market environment, distribution system, trade, and macroeconomics, etc. The business administration point of view in distribution includes distribution strategy, distribution organization, and distribution channel from the perspectives of the firm, etc. Conclusions - The aim of KODISA in 2020 is to be a global academic journal as SCI level of each journal in KODISA, JDS(Registration journal), IJIDB(Registration candidate), EAJBM(Registration candidate), JAFEB(Cabell's Registration journal). The KODISA journals have already settled as the largest academic society and journals of Korea in 2016 currently from humanities and social sciences area by the most gross in publication circulation, volumes, and types. Hereafter, KODISA will focus on the improvement for the objective indicators such as Impact Factor and Centrality index as qualitative growth as well as quantitative expansion. By doing so, KODISA will be a forum for developmental academic debate with attracting the world's greatest scholars' papers. Furthermore, they will be recognized journals and grow as the first-rate academic journals inside and outside of Korea.
The elliptic random field is an extension to the Gaussian random field. We proved a theorem which characterizes the elliptic random field. We proposed a heuristic approach to derive an approximation to the distribution of the size of one connected component of its excursion set above a high threshold. We used this approximation to approximate the distribution of the largest cluster size. We used simulation to compare the approximation with the exact distribution.

Tumor-treating fields therapy involves placing pads onto the patient's skin to create a low- intensity (1 - 3 V/cm), intermediate frequency (100 - 300 kHz), alternating electric field to treat cancerous tumors. This new treatment modality has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the USA to treat patients with both newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma. To deliver the prescribed electric field intensity to the tumor while minimizing exposure of organs at risk, we developed an optimization method for the electric field distribution in the body and compared the electric field distribution in the body before and after application of this optimization algorithm. To determine the electric field distribution in the body before optimization, we applied the same electric potential to all pairs of electric pads located on opposite sides of models. We subsequently adjusted the intensity of the electric field to each pair of pads to optimize the electric field distribution in the body, resulting in the prescribed electric field intensity to the tumor while minimizing electric fields at organs at risk. A comparison of the electric field distribution within the body before and after optimization showed that application of the optimization algorithm delivered a therapeutically effective electric field to the tumor while minimizing the average and the maximum field strength applied to organs at risk. Use of this optimization algorithm when planning tumor-treating fields therapy should maintain or increase the intensity of the electric field applied to the tumor while minimizing the intensity of the electric field applied to organs at risk. This would enhance the effectiveness of tumor-treating fields therapy while reducing dangerous side effects.
For the measurement of the magnetic field distribution with high spatial resolution and high accuracy, the magnetic field sensing probe must be non-magnetic, but the MFM probe and sub-millimeter-meter size Hall probe use a ferromagnetic tip and block, respectively, to increase the sensitivity. To overcome this drawback, we developed a micro-size search coil magnetometer which consists of a single turn search coil, Terfenol-D actuator, scanning system, and control software. To reduce the noise generated by the stray ac magnetic field of the actuator driving coil, we employed an even function $\lambda$-H magnetostriction curve and lock-in technique. Using the developed magnetometer, we were able to measure the magnetic field distribution with a magnetic field resolution of 1 mT and spatial resolution of $0.1mm{\times}0.2mm$ at a coil vibration frequency of 1.8 kHz.
The temperature distribution on the superconducting thin-film is analyzed as moving constant field is applied above upper critical field. The distribution of magnetic field is derived in the normal spot. Governing equation is obtained with the help of the equation of conservation of energy. The temperature distribution and the heat dissipation are obtained through computer simulation by the method of numerical analysis. Maximum temperature is occured in the most right side inside normal spot. The temperature is increased abruptly inside the normal spot, and decreased more gradually outside normal spot in the direction of moving field as velocity is increased. Increasing the velocity rather than increasing magnitude of the normal spot and the applied field makes maximum temperature larger. Heat dissipation is affected by the velocity rather than the magnitude of normal spot and the applied field.

this paper describes the electric field distribution interpretation along a shield form inner vacuum interrupter(VI). The equipotential line and electric field and field vector in a VI are analysed by a finite element method at various shield form. in result, The equipotential line and electric field distribution was affected to VI shield form. The reason is as it gets distortion of equipotential line done. shield of cup type is how to electric field distribution, finally, this paper recognized whether or not affected, and proposed gap with the most suitable shield length and an external insulation.
A study on distribution automation system suitable to distribution system of KEPCO has started since 1984, and the field trial system for ADS will be operated for testing. This paper will describe project and planning for field trial of KEPCO.

To investigate the magnetic field distribution of power line, we used amorphous wire sensor. And we discuss extremely low frequency magnetic field distribution dependent upon arrangement of power line and shielding pipe made from iron or alumimum materials by both measurement and FEM(Finite Element Method) analysis. Appling current of single phase 60 [Hz] 15 [A] is supplied to copper wire coated enamel resign. As the results, we confirmed that linear characteristics of amorphous wire sensor is very excellent and measurement value agrees with FEM calculation. Magnetic field distribution due to shielding materials is changed by permeability and conductivity.
In this paper, it was investigated the guided field intensity distribution of the channel in the silver & potassium ion-exchange glass-waveguide. The guided field intensity distribution analysis of ion-exchange glass-waveguide was based on the combination of the WKB dispersion relationship method with a Gaussian distribution function of refractive index profile and the Field Shadow method to the modeling of the channel waveguide. As the results of the channel waveguide modeling, it was represented 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional field distribution of ion-exchange glass waveguide.
