비행 운동 시뮬레이션을 위한 좌표계 변환 (The Coordinate Conversion for Flight Dynamics Simulation)

  • 비행 시뮬레이터는 엔진 모듈, 항법장치 모듈, 계기 모듈로 구성된다. 여기에는 두 가지의 문제점을 가지고 있다. 첫째는, 각 모듈별로 사용하는 좌표계가 서로 다르다는 점이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 각기 독자적인 좌표계를 일치시키기 위한 방법을 고안하였다. 둘째는, 지구 형태가 완전한 구 모양을 따르고 있다고 가정하고 구 삼각공식을 이용하여 거리와 방위각을 계산하게 되면 많은 연산량이 요구된다. 본 논문애서는 근거리 비행시 구 삼각공식 대신 평면 근사화 방식을 사용함으로써 우수한 결과를 얻음을 확인하였다. 연산 속도는 구 삼각공식 사용시 $4.95{\times}10^{-4}$초에서 평면 근사화 방식을 사용시 $1.648{\times}10^{-4}$초로 향상됨을 확인하였다.

Failure pattern of twin strip footings on geo-reinforced sand: Experimental and numerical study

  • In practice, the interference influence caused by adjacent footings of structures on geo-reinforced loose soil has a considerable impact on their behavior. Thus, the goal of this study is to evaluate the behavior of two strip footings in close proximity on both geocell and geogrid reinforced soil with different reinforcement layers. Geocell was made from geogrid material used to compare the performance of cellular and planar reinforcement on the bearing pressure of twin footings. Extensive experimental tests have been performed to attain the optimum embedment depth and vertical distance between reinforcement layers. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) analysis has been conducted to monitor the deformation, tilting and movement of soil particles beneath and between twin footings. Results of tests and PIV technique were verified using finite element modeling (FEM) and the results of both PIV and FEM were used to utilize failure mechanisms and influenced shear strain around the loading region. The results show that the performance of twin footings on geocell-reinforced sand at allowable and ultimate settlement ranges are almost 4% and 25% greater than the same twin footings on the same geogrid-reinforced sand, respectively. By increasing the distance between twin footings, soil particle displacements become smaller than the settlement of the foundations.

무극 함금석영맥광상 주변모암에서의 모암변질과 원소들의 일차분산 (Wallrock Alteration and Primary Dispersion of Elements in the Vicinity of the Mugeug Gold-bearing Quartz Veins)

  • Mineralogical and geochemical studies on gold-bearing quartz veins and wallrock from the Mugeug mine were carried out in order to investigate the variation of mineralogical composition and the geochemical behavior of elements with distance from the gold-bearing quartz veins. Gold-bearing quartz veins occur in early Cretaceous medium- to coarse-grained biotite granite. The unaltered wallrock is composed mainly of quartz, plagioclase, orthoclase, microcline, biotite and hornblende with accessory minerals of sphene and apatite. Mineralogical changes in altered wallrock around the gold-bearing quartz veins were observed as follows; 1) biotite and hornblende altered into chlorite, and next to sericite, 2) plagioclase, orthoclase and microcline altered into sericite, and 3) calcite and quartz introduced into wallrock. Contents of $K_2O$, Rb, Cs, Au, As and Sb in altered wallrock increase, whereas those of $Na_2O$, CaO, Ba, and Sr decrease with proximity to the gold-bearing quartz veins. The loss on ignition also increases with the increase of alteration mineral. The width of primary dispersion increases in order $Au=SiO_2<As=Cs=Rb<K_2O=Sb$ and $MnO<Na_2O=CaO=Ba<Sr$. The sericitization index, $K_2O/(K_2O+Na_2O)$, is an important indicator to interpret the degree of alteration at the Mugeug mine, which is more than 0.8 in strongly and moderately altered granite, 0.5~0.8 in wea altered granite, and less than 0.5 in unaltered granite. Alteration indices for major and trace elements, and the ratio of Rb/Sr are also useful to discriminate alteration zones.

GPS를 이용한 선간거리계의 정확도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the accuracy of Rangefinder between vessels by use of GPS)

  • The experimented rangefinder consist of sets of V/A-Code GPS and sets of L1 C/A-code & carrier phase receivers connected by two spread spectrum radio modems in order to measure relative range and bearing between two ship antennas by real time, comparing and analyzing accuracy of both GPS receivers at the fix point on the land by means of executing zero baseline test by C/A code and by carrier phase as well as measuring distance range 5m, 10m, 15m between each other receivers. The results from the measurement of relative range and bearing are as follows as ;1. According to the results from zero baseline test, the average error by C/A-code receiver is less than 0.1m, which proves theories from published books but when each GPS receivers track different satellites, the range accuracy error becomes up to 100m by means of S/A. Because of this sudden wide range error, rangefinder is not appropriate at relative range measurement without additional modification of the algorism of the GPS receiver itself.2. According to relative range measurement by Carrier Phase and zero baseline test at static condition, the range error is less than 3.5cm in case that it passes more than 5 minutes after GPS sets can track simultaneously more than 6 satellites. Its main reason is understood that the phase center of antenna is bigger than geodetic antenna.3. When range measurement of two receivers from 5m, to 10m to 15m, the each range error is 0.340m, 0.190m, 0.011m and each standard variation is 0.0973m, 0.0884m, 0.0790m. The range error and standard variation are in inverse proportion to distance between two receivers. 4. L1 Carrier Phase GPS generally needs 5 minutes to fix and during this ambiguity search, the relative range and bearing angle is shown to be various.

Improvement of bearing capacity of footing on soft clay grouted with lime-silica fume mix

  • In this study, lime (L), silica fume (SF), and lime-silica fume (L-SF) mix have been used for stabilizing and considering their effects on the soft clay soil. The improvement technique adopted in this study includes improving the behaviour, of a square footing over soft clay through grouting the clay with a slurry of lime-silica fume before and after installation of the footing. A grey-colored densified silica fume is used. Three percentages are used for lime (2%, 4% and 6%) and three percentages are used for silica fume (2.5%, 5%, 10%) and the optimum percentage of silica fume is mixed with the percentages of lime. Several tests are made to investigate the soil behaviour after adding the limeand silica fume. For grouting the soft clay underneath and around the footing, a 60 ml needle was used as a liquid tank of the lime-silica fume mix. Slurried silica fume typically contains 40 to 60% silica fume by mass. Four categories were studied to stabilize soft clay before and after footing construction and for each category, the effectiveness of grouting was investigated; the effect of injection hole spacing and depth of grout was investigated too. It was found that when the soft clay underneath or around a footing is injected by a slurry of lime-silica fume, an increase in the bearing capacity in the range of (6.58-88)% is obtained. The footing bearing capacity increases with increase of depth of grouting holes around the footing area due to increase in L-SF grout. The grouting near the footing to a distance of 0.5 B is more effective than grouting at a distance of 1.0 B due to shape of shear failure of soft clay around the footing.

독립적인 센서쌍 배열에 기반한 음원 위치추정 기법 (Source Localization Based on Independent Doublet Array)

  • 본 논문에서는 독립적인 센서쌍 배열(Doublet Array)을 이용하여 근거리 단일 음원의 방위와 거리를 추정하는 기법을 제안한다. 일반적인 방위각 추정 기법의 경우 주로 선형 배열 (Uniform Linear Array) 혹은 환영 배열 (Uniform Ciucular Array) 등을 이용하나 배열 구조상 근거리 음원의 거리를 추정하기 위한 개구간(Aperture)을 확보하는데 제약이 있다. 최근 독립적인 센서쌍 배열을 이용하여 넓은 개구간으로 근거리 단일 음원의 방위와 거리를 추정하는 기법이 제안되었으나 센서쌍이 직선상에 위치하는 경우로 제한되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 일반화 하여 다양한 배열 구조에서도 근거리 음원의 위치를 추정하고자 한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 검증하였다.

음향 방출 신호와 히스토그램 모델링을 이용한 유도전동기의 베어링 결함 검출 (Bearing Faults Identification of an Induction Motor using Acoustic Emission Signals and Histogram Modeling)

  • 본 논문에서는 저속으로 회전하는 유도 전동기의 베어링 결함을 검출하기 위해 음향 방출 신호와 히스토그램 모델링을 이용하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 정규화된 결함 신호가 구성하는 히스토그램의 포락선을 모델링하여, 부분 상관 계수와 DET(Distance Evaluation Technique) 기법을 이용하여 결함 유형별 고유한 특징을 추출 및 선택한다. 추출된 특징을 SVR(Support Vector Regression) 분류기의 입력으로 사용하여 베어링의 내륜, 외륜 및 롤러 결함을 분류한다. 최적의 분류 성능을 위해 SVR 커널함수의 매개변수를 0.01에서 1.0까지 변화시키고, 특징 개수는 2에서 150까지 변화시키면서 실험한 결과, 0.64-0.65의 매개변수와 75개의 특징 개수에서 제안한 방법은 약 91%의 분류 성능을 보였고, 또한 기존의 결함 분류 알고리즘보다 높은 분류 성능을 보였다.

카메라 영상의 기하학적 해석을 통한 YOLO 알고리즘 기반 해상물체탐지시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of YOLO-Based Maritime Object Detection System through Geometric Interpretation of Camera Images)

  • 자율운항선박이 상용화되어 연안을 항해하기 위해서는 해상의 장애물을 탐지할 수 있어야 한다. 연안에서 가장 많이 볼 수 있는 장애물 중의 하나는 양식장의 부표이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 YOLO 알고리즘을 이용하여 해상의 부표를 탐지하고, 카메라 영상의 기하학적 해석을 통해 선박으로부터 떨어진 부표의 거리와 방위를 계산하여 장애물을 시각화하는 해상물체탐지시스템을 개발하였다. 1,224장의 양식장 부표 사진으로 해양물체탐지모델을 훈련시킨 결과, 모델의 Precision은 89.0 %, Recall은 95.0 % 그리고 F1-score는 92.0 %이었다. 얻어진 영상좌표를 이용하여 카메라로부터 떨어진 물체의 거리와 방위를 계산하기 위해 카메라 캘리브레이션을 실시하고 해상물체탐지시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위해 Experiment A, B를 설계하였다. 해상물체탐지시스템의 성능을 검증한 결과 해상물체탐지시스템이 레이더보다 근거리 탐지 능력이 뛰어나서 레이더와 더불어 항행보조장비로 사용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

전자체중계를 이용한 환측 체중부하훈련이 편마비 환자의 제중지지율과 보행에 미치는 효과 (Effects of continuous involved weight bearing training on symmetrical weight supporting rate improvement and gait characteristics of patients with Hemiplegia)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the involved lower limb weight bearing training on symmetrical weight supporting rate improvement and gait characteristics of patients with hemiplegia including their gait velocity, cadence, stride length, step length of the non affected side, step length of the affected side, foot angle of the non affected side, foot angle of the affected side, base of support, and so on. The subject of the study was 28 men and women patients with hemiplegia from 22 to 77 age, among patients who doctor diagnosed as hemiplegia due to stroke or traumatic brain injury, were possible to do independent gait more than 45m without others assistance, the flexion contracture of hip pint was less than $15^{\circ}$, did not have contracture for knee pint and one more than $5^{\circ}$ for ankle joint, did not have contraindication for exercise or gait did not show visual defect due to brain injury. The patients, the subject of the study, were classified into 14 patients of treatment. group applying continuous involved weight bearing with general therapeutic exercise and 14 patients of control group applying general therapeutic exercise, and then analyzed their gait before and after exercise. Temporal distance gait analysis(Boening, 1977) was used to analyze their gait, and ink foot-print was applied as one of measurement methods. However, it was statistically signifiant in the change rate(%) of gait characteristics, and treatment group's patients with hemiplegia had been highly changed in gait characteristics in comparison with control group. From the above-mentioned results, could find that continuous involved weight bearing training for patients with hemiplegia was effective to improve their gait ability and it could increase the ability in comparison with general exercise.

성토재로서 산업폐기물 제지회의 지지력 분석 (Analysis for Bearing Capacity of Paper Ash in Industrial Waste as Filling Material)

  • 본 연구에서는 제지회를 성토재로 활용할 경우 제지회의 지지력 특성을 파악하기 위하여 원심모형실험을 실시하였다. 모형실험은 기초폭과 중력수준을 변화시켜 실시하였으며, 하중재하에 따른 침하와 수직토압을 측정하였다. 모형실험결과는 지지력 이론 및 유한차분 해석프로그램인 FLAC을 이용한 수치해석 결과와 비교 분석하였다. 실험결과, 하중-침하특성은 침하비 s/B가 약 25~30%에서 변곡점을 나타내는 국부전단파괴 양상을 보이며, g-level과 기초폭이 증가할수록 하중강도가 증가하고 있다. 실험에서 측정된 극한지지력은 Terzaghi 이론에 의한 결과와 유사한 것으로 나타났다. 기초 중심에서 이격거리가 증가할수록 수직토압이 크게 감소하였으며, E/B가 7이상에서는 하중재하에 따른 응력증가가 거의 발생하지 않았다. 하중재하에 의한 수직변위는 기초 직하부에서 가장 크며, 깊이 4cm 이상, 이격거리 E/B=5.0 이상에서는 거의 발생하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
