변압기 유중 가스 진단 오차 원인에 대한 연구 (A study on Cause of Errors of Dissolved Gases Analysis in Transformer)

  • Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is widely used to detect incipient faults in oil-filled electrical equipment. KEPCO make a rule of DGA in 1985. They have been diagnosing power transformer using their DGA criteria. In this paper, we analysis the result of DGA data about transformer in the substation. We try to find out what is cause of an error in DGA diagnosis considering accuracy in extracting gases from mineral oil in transformer. The carbon-monoxide was primary reason of warning in DGA data. We specially consider that aging is a cause of generating of carbon-monoxide in power transformer.

  • We obtained amorphous calcium carbonate through the carbonation reaction of $Ca(OH)_2$, and through this reaction, observed changes in particle shape and phase by electric conductivity, XRD and TEM analysis. According to the result of the analysis, in the first declining stage of electric conductivity, amorphous calcium carbonate that has formed is coated on the surface of $Ca(OH)_2$ and obstructs its dissolution, and in the first recovery stage of electric conductivity, amorphous calcium carbonate is dissolved and re-precipitated and forms chains of fine calcite particles linearly joined. In the second decline of conductivity, viscosity increases due to the growth of chains of calcite particles, and finally the calcite particles are dissolved and separated into colloidal crystalline calcite, thereby increasing electric conductivity again.

  • 본 논문에서는 주상변압기 절연유의 가속열화반응을 수행하였다. 유중가스를 air bubbling 법으로 추출하여 가스크로마토크라프로 성분을 분석하였으며 가스농도는 각 가스의 추출율을 감안하여 보정하였다. 절연재료의 열화는 열분해반응과산화반응에의하여 진행되었으며 두 종류의 반응은 모두 0차반응의 특성을 보였고 탄화수소류, CO+{{{{ { CO}_{2 } }}}} 및 수소가스의 생성속도식을 얻었다. 유중가스 분석과 UV-Visible 분광광도법에 의하여 변압기내의 철심과 동코일이 열화과정에서 촉매역활을 함을 확인하였다.

  • Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is one of the most widely used diagnostic tools for detecting and evaluating faults in electrical equipment. However, interpretation of DGA results is often complex and should always be done with care, involving experienced insulation maintenance personnel. KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Cooperation) has been using DGA technique since KEPCO established the criteria of DGA in 1985. In this paper, we introduce the DGA criteria of KEPCO and analyze the result of DGA. Also we sort pattern in result of DGA. Then, relation between pattern and inner inspection was studied. 67 DGA data was used for analyzing pattern. Some patterns have something to do with cause of incipient fault.

질화처리된 저탄소강 레이저 용접부의 기공 감소 (Porosity Reduction in Laser Welding of Nitrided Carbon Steel)

  • Gas nitriding is a surface hardening process where nitrogen is introduced into the surface of a ferrous alloy. During fusion welding of nitrided carbon steel, the nitride inside weld metal is dissolved and generates nitrogen gas, which causes porosities - blow holes and pits. In this study, several laser welding processes such as weaving welding, two-pass welding, dual beam welding and laser-arc hybrid welding were investigated to elongate the weld pool to enhance nitrogen gas evacuation. The surface pits were successfully eliminated with elongated weld pool. However blowholes inside the weld metal were effective reduced but not fully disappeared.

인공 분기공 가스를 이용한 Giggenbach bottle 법의 평가 (Evaluation of the Giggenbach Bottle Method with Artificial Fumarolic Gases)

  • 본 연구에서 인공 분기공을 이용해 Giggenbach bottle 법의 적정성을 평가하고, 관련된 전처리 및 분석기술을 확립했다. 인공 분기공은 $CO_2$, CO, $H_2S$, $SO_2$, $H_2$, $CH_4$, HCl, HF, $N_2$의 조합으로 이루어졌고, 각 성분의 유속을 조절해 다양한 조성을 지닌 분기공 가스를 만들었다. 분기공 가스는 NaOH 포집용액이 담긴 병을 사용해 채취했다. CO, $H_2$, $CH_4$의 비용존 가스는 채취병의 빈 공간에 축적되고, $CO_2$, $SO_2$, HCl, HF의 산성가스는 포집용액에 용해된다. $H_2S$ 는 다른 산성가스처럼 포집용액에 용해되나, 카드뮴 아세테이트를 첨가한 경우 $Cd^{2+}$와 반응해 CdS로 침전된다. 비용존 가스는 가스 크로마토그래피를 사용해 분석했다. 한편 포집용액에 생긴 CdS 침전물은 여과장치를 사용해 수용액과 분리시킨 후, $H_2O_2$ 수용액과 반응시켜 CdS 침전물에 결합되어 있는 황화염을 황산염으로 산화시켰다. 또한 침전물이 분리된 포집용액에 $H_2O_2$ 용액을 넣어 아황산염을 황산염으로 산화시켰다. 이런 전처리를 거친 시료는 이온 크로마토그래피를 사용해 분석했다. 포집용액에 용존된 $CO_2$는 전처리 없이 총유기-무기탄소분석기를 사용해 측정했다. 측정된 화산가스의 농도는 인공 분기공에서 설정된 유속과 비례했고, 이는 Giggenbach bottle 법이 화산가스 관측에 유용하게 적용될 수 있음을 나타낸다. 또한 본 연구에서 제시된 전처리 및 분석법은 화산가스 측정의 정확도 및 재현성을 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.

가스를 포함하는 고분자 재료(PETG)의 유리전이온도 변화 (Change of Glass Transition Temperature of PETG Containing Gas)

  • The industries use polymer materials for many purposes because they have many merits. But these materials' costs take up too much proportion in overall cost of products that use these materials as their major material. So it is very economical for polymer industries to reduce these costs. Microcellular foaming process appeared in 1980's to solve this problem and it proved to be quite successful. This process uses inert gases such as CO2, N2. As these gases are dissolved into polymer matrices. many properties are changed. Glass transition temperature is one of these properties. DSC, DMA are devices that measures this temperature, but these are not sufficient to measure the temperature of polymer containing gas. In this paper, we devised a new tester that uses magnetism. We used this device to acquire data of the change of glass transition temperature and made Cha-Yoon model that can predict the change of glass transition temperature. Using this model, the change of this temperature can be estimated as a function of weight gain of gas. Cha-Yoon model proved that Chow's model is inappropriate to predict the change of glass transition temperature of polymer matrices containing gas.

Study on the Cavitation Damage of Cupronickel(70/30) Tube for Gas Absorption Refrigeration Machine

  • The use of gas absorption refrigeration machine has considerably increased because of the shortage of the electric power in the summer and the regulation of freon refrigerant. Gas absorption refrigeration machine consists of a condenser, a heat exchanger. supplying pipes, a radiator etc, This system is likely to be corroded by acid. dissolved oxygen and gases, Cavitation erosion-corrosion by flow velocity of cooling water may happen in absorption refrigeration machine. In these cases. erosion and corrosion occur simultaneously. Then, it makes a serious damage with synergy effect. Therefore, this paper was studied on the cavitation damage of cupronickel(70/30) tube for gas absorption refrigeration machine, In the $30^{\circ}C$ tap water, linear polarization test and anodic polarization test were carried out for copper(C1220T-OL) and cupronickel(70/30) tube. Also, cavitation erosion-corrosion behavior of cupronickel (70/30) tube was considered, The main results are as following: (1) In the linear test, the corrosion current density of cupronickel(70/30) is higher than that of copper. (2) The erosion-corrosion rate of cupronickel(70/30) displayed later tendency than that of copper by vibratory cavitation in cooling water. (3) In cooling water, the progress mechanism of erosion-corrosion rate of copper and cupronickel(70/30) follows a pattern of incubation, acceleration, attenuation and a steady state period.

  • Electrical resistivity in hydrate-bearing sediments is sensitive to porosity, gas hydrate saturation, gas content, pore fluid composition, and temperature, so electrical measurements such as well logs and electromagnetic surveys have been used to explore gas hydrate-bearing formation. The high pressure tomography cell is designed considering the effect of electrode configuration and electrical shielding on tomography measurements and the safety. The evolution of electrical conductivity during $CO_2$ hydrate formation and dissociation reflects the combined effects of concurrent changes that include ionization of dissolved $CO_2$, temperature-dependent ionic mobility, changes in the degree of saturation, ion exclusion, surface conduction, and porosity changes. Measurements during hydrate formation and dissociation require careful analysis to properly interpret signatures, in particular when out-of plane conductivity anomalies prevail.
