There should be no problem in the measurement system for scientific quality management. In this paper, we want to correctly identify the factors that can affect the measurement results during the measurement process and identify what causes them when the measurement results cause problems in terms of location and variation. Variations in the measurement system are largely described in terms of location and dispersion. Location-related attributes are accuracy, stability, and linearity while dispersion-related attributes are reproducibility and repeatability. Analyzing the factors associated with dispersion is an R&R analysis, in which the size of repeatability and reproducibility is represented by a range of differences between multiple measurements and a range of differences between measurements, and 99% of dispersion is determined. Experimental design can also be used for measurement system analysis. Proper analysis is performed only when the factors causing the fluctuation, the worker and the product, are correctly identified as random or fixed factors.

The composite electroplating is accomplished by adding inert materials during the electroplating. Permalloy is the term for Ni-Fe alloy and it is used for industrial applications due to its high magnetic permeability, surface wear resistance, corrosion protection. Microhardness for microdevices is enhanced after composite coating and it increases the life cycle. However, the hydroxyl group on the silica makes their surface susceptible to moisture and it causes the silica nanoparticles to be agglomerated in the aqueous solution. The agglomeration problem causes poor dispersion which eventually interrupts uniform deposition of silica nanoparticles. In this study, the dispersion of silica nanoparticles in the permalloy electroplated layer is reported with variation of additives and current densities. The optimum current density was 20 $mA/cm^2$ and the silica content was 9 at% at $50^{\circ}C$. The amount of silica nanopowder codeposition and surface morphologies were influenced with variation of additives. In the bath, smooth surface morphology and relatively high contents of silica nanopowder codeposition were obtained with addition of sodium lauryl sulfate.

This paper reports a dispersion compensation technique to implement tje distortionless transmission line by satisfying the heaviside conditon. Because of the skin depth for aconductor, compensation condition is dependent on the freuqncy variation. For this reason, first, the resistance have been chaacterized in awide range of frequencies, and then found the effective conductivity of the substrate which satisfied the heaviside condition. The phase velocity and the characteristics impedance are prresented nearly constant over a wideband frequency range.
Liquid crystalline polymer BB-3(1-methyl) takes two kinds of glass phases which are liquid crystalline glass and liquid glass below the glass temperature. This study is aimed to analyze the phase transitions of those samples with variation of temperature. For the analyzing temperature dispersion of dielectric constants was measured and the results were analyzed.

We frequently encounter outcomes of count that have extra variation. This paper considers several alternative models for overdispersed count responses such as a quasi-Poisson model, zero-inflated Poisson model and a negative binomial model with a special focus on a generalized linear mixed model. We also explain various goodness-of-fit criteria by discussing their appropriateness of applicability and cautions on misuses according to the patterns of response categories. The overdispersion models for counts data have been explained through two examples with different response patterns.

When we observe binary responses in a cluster (such as rat lab-subjects), they are usually correlated to each other. In clustered binomial counts, the independence assumption is violated and we encounter an extra-variation. In the presence of extra-variation, the ordinary statistical analyses of binomial data are inappropriate to apply. In testing the homogeneity of proportions between several treatment groups, the classical Pearson chi-squared test has a severe flaw in the control of Type I error rates. We focus on modifying the chi-squared statistic by incorporating variance inflation factors. We suggest a method to adjust data in terms of dispersion estimate based on a quasi-likelihood model. We explain the testing procedure via an illustrative example as well as compare the performance of a modified chi-squared test with competitive statistics through a Monte Carlo study.

This paper in concerned with the electrochemical properties for supercapacitor of composition with variation of super P/MWCNTs(multi-walled carbon nanotubes) contents. Electrochemical properties of the super P/MWCNTs were measured by cyclic voltammetry at the scan rates of 0.5 mV/s is $TEABF_4$(tetra-ethyl-ammonium-tetra-fluoro-borate) as electrolytes. As a result, the composition for 6 wt% content of MWCNTs led to an increase of capacitance, but DC resistance were decreased. It was found that the content and dispersion appearance of MWCNTs was attributed to the increase in capacitance and lower DC resistance.
In high-pressure diesel engine, the injected fuel spray impinges on the piston cavity surface due to the short distance between the injection nozzle and the cavity wall. The behavior of the impinging spray has the great influence on the dispersion of fuel, the evaporation, and the mixture formation process. In this study, the numerical simulation using the GTT code was performed to study the gas flows, the spray behaviors, and the fuel vapor distributions in the combustion of a D.I engine for variation of spray angle and swirl ratio.
For the purpose of predicting air pollutants concentration in Pusan coastal urban, we used an Eulerian model of flow and dispersion/chemistry/deposition process considering SST effects which estimate through POM. The results of air quality model including emission from various sources show that the seasonal variation pattern of respective pollutants was affected by the seasonal SST fields and local circulation. Horizontal deviation of diurnal SST was 2.5~4K, especially large gradients in coastal region. Through numerical simulation of wind fields we predicted that local circulation prevailed during daytime in summer and nighttime in winter. So high concentration distribution showed toward inland in spring and summer seasons, while high concentration distribution showed at inland near coast in autumn and winter.
We have observed 85 UBV standard stars(V<6) with SNU photoelectric photometer system and 24" Cassegrain reflector at Sobaeksan Observing Station during the period between January and May, 1980 in order to examine the photometer system and to determine atmospheric extinction coefficients. From five night observations, the following results were obtained: (1) The set of filters(V=2mm GG 495, B=2mm GG 385+1mm BG 12, U=2mm UG 2) is better than the other filter set used in our tests on the basis of linear instrumental calibrations for V and B filters. (2) The SNU detecting system is very stable within ${\sigma}=0.002$ in magnitude in a night but the variation in its stability from night to night is not negligible. (3) The extinction coefficients were derived from two different methods and we have found no systematic seasonal variation in the extinction coefficients although the mean dispersion is considerable.
