The purpose of this study is to analyze two mechanisms appeared in Educational crisis by Korea mass media, which are discoursive constitution of meaning and the mechanism for discoursive constitution of subject. The analysis will classify ideological characteristics and conflict opposition of conservative and progressive media. As background for chosen case study, language structure and combination methods in Theory of Discourse of M. $P\hat{e}cheux$ will be discussed. Specifically, choices and combination methods of the chosen language structure-the preconstructed, articulation, mechanism, and structuring method of ideology will be main topics. Following case study will be Chosun and Hankyoreh newspaper, each representing conservative and progressive side. Discussion regarding educational crisis news, such as "Collapse of Classroom", "Collapse of School" is selected, and analyzed in terms of insight story, cause and responsibility, and taken measures.

First proposed by Paul Crutzen and Eugene Stoermer in 2000, the concept of the Anthropocene has had staggering repercussions in a variety of disciplines. In response to the Anthropocene narrative as a problematization of the eco-ontological emergency that humanity is confronted with in the 21st-century, I will deal with the following theoretical themes in this article. Firstly, I will analyze the central agendas underlying the Anthropocene discourse: the expansion of human agency into the planetary level and the possibility of unprecedented catastrophes in the near future. Secondly, I will propose to address the Anthropocene discourse as problem-assemblage. Thirdly, I will examine Clive Himilton and Dipesh Chakrabarty's theses in order to understand the shock that was brought to bear on the humanities and social sciences by the Anthropocene narrative. Fourthly, I will reinterpret the allegory of the angel appearing in Benjamin's Theses on the Philosophy of History to explore new possibilities of transformative becoming of the subjectivity, focusing on the concept of patiency. Finally, I will present the concept of reflexive catastrophism.

In our society, recently, the concept of social economy stands out as an alternative to the mainstream economy in the market. It is noteworthy that although the social economy has the nature of practical field of civil society, the government has a willingness to actively support the social economy as a means of getting visible result of job creation. The social economy in Korea is being fostered by the government and understood within the framework of a very limited policy goal of providing jobs for the vulnerable. The problem is that the social value and community implications of the social economy are disappearing while the social economic organizations have higher policy status and become more and more dependent on the government's financial support. This paper suggests that the discourse on the social economy should be reconstructed while holding the problem of this situation.

This study aims to logically investigate the changing interpretation and implementation of the principle of provenance by using an argument model for discourse analysis. First, it divides the history of discourses on the principle from the Dutch Manual publication of 1989 up to the present into four areas, which includes establishing, diffusing, transforming, and expanding or deconstructing, and articulates the core discourses of each. Second, it designs the argument model for analyzing the discourses on the principle by applying Toulmin's argument model and Dunn's policy argument model. Third, it selects the articles and books that cover the core discourses of the principle, and analyzes their contents in consideration of the argument model. Fourth and finally, it presents four argument models corresponding to each area of the discourses.

Since long ago, "The Discourse of Confucius" has been considered as one of the must-read classical literatures in the world of art. The term Huì-shì-$h{\grave{o}}u-s{\grave{u}}$ (繪事後素) in this literature is not only known by the painter but is also known to anyone who discuss about pictures. However, there is a great diversity of interpretation between its meaning of "drawing a picture is done when its basis is ready" or "drawing a picture is done later when completed with white color". The method of drawing does not change much with time. Scholars usually consider professional paintings conventional and don't understand well the white characteristics of the painting technique. In any case, it is basic to deal with the basis before drawing but completing the picture, finishing with white is not so common. Paintings from ancient times are not so different from today's silk pictures. Because Huì-shì-$h{\grave{o}}u-s{\grave{u}}$(繪事後素) fostered the attainments being the basis of life and the artistic sense, it remains as the aesthetics to many artists. The interpretation of Huì-shì-$h{\grave{o}}u-s{\grave{u}}$(繪事後素) is related to the change with time in 'The theory of courtesy(禮論)' but this study focused purely from the artistic point of view.

본 논문은 Grosz et al(1995)의 중심화이론(centering theory)을 바탕으로 목적어의 생략의 동기를 설명할 수 있는가를 검증하였다. 한국의 민담에 나타난 431개의 절과 신문사설 249개의 절을 분석한 결과 공목적어(zero object)의 17%만이 중심유지변이(continue transition)에 사용되었으며, 이는 중심화이론의 기존 세 가지 제약만으로는 공목적어의 분포를 설명할 수 없음을 보여주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 중심화이론 내에서 공목적어의 분포를 설명하기 위하여 Kameyama(1998)의 평행선호조건(Parallelism Preference Condition)을 도입할 것을 제안하였다. 평행선호조건의 도입은 세 가지 측면에서 지지된다. 첫째, 중심변이 개념만으로 설명이 불충분한 공목적어의 분포를 중심화이론 내에서 설명할 수 있다. 둘째, 순조로운 중심이동변이(smooth-shift transition)에 나타나는 공주어의 분포를 설명할 수 있다. 셋째, 평행선호조건은 공명대명사의 해석뿐만 아니라 시제의 생략이나 동사의 생략을 설명하기 위해서 독립적으로 지지되는 조건이다.

수사구조는 텍스트의 각 구성 성분이 맺고 있는 관계를 의미하며, 필자의 의도는 논리적인 구조를 통해서 독자에게 더 잘 전달될 수 있다. 따라서 독자의 인지적 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 수사구조를 고려하여 단락과 문장 구조를 구성하는 것이 필요하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지 수사구조에 기초한 한국어 분류체계를 만들거나 주석 코퍼스를 설계하려는 시도가 없었다. 본 연구에서는 기존 수사구조 이론을 기반으로, 한국어 보도문 형식에 적합한 30개 유형의 분류체계를 정제하고 최소 담화 단위별로 태깅한 코퍼스를 구축하였다. 또한 구축한 코퍼스를 토대로 중심문장을 비롯한 문장 구조의 특징과 분포 비율, 신문기사의 장르적 특성 등을 살펴봄으로써 텍스트에서 응집성의 실현 양상과 구문상의 특징을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 한국어 담화 구문에 적합한 수사구조 분류체계를 설계하고 이를 이용한 주석 코퍼스를 최초로 구축하였다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

“The ultimate aim of the anthropology of art ［fashion］ must be the dissolution of art ［fashion］.” Alfred Gell, Art and Agency (1998) This study aims to rethink fashion by examining issues that have emerged out of recent writings in the anthropology of art. Since their inaugural coinciding, sound discussions have emerged between the anthropology of art and the art world, addressing such subjects as： ‘artworks and artefacts’, ‘Western and non- Western discourse’, and ‘art and agency’ (Gell 1992； 1993； 1996； 1998). This study is comprised of a series of discussions, the subjects of which follow： the relationship between fashion and art； art and the anthropology of art； and in parallel with this, examining the possibility for an anthropology of fashion. This study employs a qualitative approach based on the discussion of relevant literatures dealing with fashion, art and art theory for its methodology, followed by a brief examination of a case of the Vivienne Westwood exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in terms of an empirical account.

By taking a bottom-up "library in the life of the user" perspective rather than a top-down "user in the life of the library" perspective, this paper uses anecdotal evidence from the past and near present to examine the multiple roles the U.S. public library plays and has played as public space in the everyday lives of its patrons. By harnessing "public sphere" theory discussed in Jurgen Habermas's THE STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE PUBLIC SPHERE (1989) and by the examining the rich literatures on civic life and institutions that have evolved from it, the author argues that Library and Information Studies discourse has to expand its scope to include research and analysis of "library as place" from a user's perspective if it hopes to develop a deeper understanding of what the public library does for means to members of the communities in which they reside.

LINE, an instant message App with a powerful capability of transmitting various forms of data, has been overwhelmed in Asia since launched in 2011. Due to its popularity, LINE was first used in the 2016 Taiwanese presidential election. This research utilized a functional approach of campaign communication discourse and political visual images to analyze how candidates managed and presented themselves by textual and visual information on LINE. Regarding the textual information, results revealed their strategy inclined to reverse gender stereotype because the female candidate emphasized policy over character, while the male emphasized character over policy. Both candidates did not fully employ ten image functions because they utilized mostly the emotional and image building functions. The female candidate message achieved the largest total amount of 'like' and 'share'. This study probes into the App campaigning and improve the feasibility and practicability to share knowledge of political communication by new media.
