This paper focused on investigating the seam strength by cutting direction depending on the fabrics and weave by comparing the tensile strength and elongation of bias, warp and weft of 4 kinds of find cotton fabrics and combining 6 kinds of seam cutting directions. The cutting directions are selected the warp direction, weft direction and 45-degree bias direction. Then, three kinds of directions, the warp/warp direction, the weft/weft direction and the bias/bias directions, and the three different kinds of directions, the warp/weft direction, the warp/bias direction and the weft/bias directions, were finally selected. The results are as follows: The tensile strength of all fabrics was higher in the order of warp, bias and weft direction and tensile elongation was higher in the order of bias, warp and weft direction in almost all fabrics. 100's and 150's cotton fabrics showed the highest seam strength when they were cut in the bias/bias direction. The seam strength of the fabrics cut in the same direction was the highest in the fabrics cut in the bias/bias direction. Four kinds of fabrics demonstrated the similar seam strength. However, for the seam strength of fabrics cut in the different directions, 100's cotton fabrics had the difference of seam strength by direction and weave, but 150's cotton fabrics didn't have any difference in seam strength by direction and weave. As described above, the seam strength was influenced by the cutting direction of fabrics. Accordingly, the seam strength can be improved by changing the cutting direction of seam when making the clothing.

This paper proposes strategy development to improve the management of Multicultural Family Support Centers by analyzing four Multicultural Family Support Centers (MFSCs) in Chungcheongnam-do. The research was conducted from September 2012 to January 2013. Future directions for the four MFSCs are established based on a SWOT analysis on both the internal and external environments of the centers. Various strategic directions for the four MFSCs were identified based on these analyses. For center A (urban type, college contract type), the strategic directions included the specialization strategy, systemization strategy, empowerment strategy, standardization strategy, and achievement maximization strategy. The strategic directions for center B (urban-rural combined type, social welfare center contract type) included the improvement of multiculture awareness, specialization strategy, human resource development strategy, and networking strategy. For center C (farming and fishing community type, direct management type by local authority), the strategic directions included the specialization strategy, activation strategy, qualification strategy, and networking strategy. For center D (farming and fishing community type, social welfare center contract type), the strategic directions included the specialization strategy, business standardization strategy, human resource development strategy, and network expansion strategy. The suggested management strategy development for the four MFSCs can provide implications for the management of MFSCs in other areas in Korea.

The purpose of the present study is to examine the satisfaction level towards residential environment forecast on directions in geomantic studies, or Feng Shui and Ming Lihak. For the subjects of this study, 100 ordinary people aged from teens to sixties were chosen for research from August through December in 2012. Frequency analysis and Krushkal Wallis test were used for the analysis, and all empirical analyses were performed at 5% significance level. Analysis results show that satisfaction level towards directions in the residential environment is high where individual preferences are adjusted to form harmony with the force and balance of the directions. And, in a residential environment, the highest level of satisfaction was marked with directions of wood pillows, or Duchim, signifying improved efficacy of forecast of residential environment change. Findings of the study suggest that high satisfaction level in the directions of Feng Shui and the Ming Lihak forecasts high quality life in the given residential structure and structural forms. bstract.

The speed and oscillation directions of elastic waves propagating in the [ab0] direction of a silicon single crystal were obtained by solving Christoffel's equation. It was found that the quasi waves propagate in the off-principal axis, and hence, the directions of the phase and group velocities are not the same. The maximum deviation of the two directions was $7.2^{\circ}$. Two modes of the pure transverse waves propagate in the [110] direction with different speeds, and hence, two peaks were observed in the pulse echo signal. The amplitude ratio of the two peaks was dependent on the initial oscillating direction of the incident wave. The pure and quasi-transverse waves propagate in the [210] direction, and the oscillation directions of these waves are perpendicular to each other. The skewing angle of the quasi wave was calculated as $7.14^{\circ}$, and it was measured as $9.76^{\circ}$. The amplitude decomposition in the [210] direction was similar to that in the [110] direction, since the oscillation directions of these waves are perpendicular to each other. These results offer useful information in measuring the crystal orientation of the silicon single crystal.

We establishes the polynomial convergence of a new class of path-following methods for semidefinite linear complementarity problems (SDLCP) whose search directions belong to the class of directions introduced by Monteiro [9]. Namely, we show that the polynomial iteration-complexity bound of the well known algorithms for linear programming, namely the predictor-corrector algorithm of Mizuno and Ye, carry over to the context of SDLCP.

In this paper, a method for measuring image pattern widths is proposed using gaussian interpolation, in order to improve inconsistent results coming from the different directions in image patterns. The performance of our method is evaluated using image patterns with 9 directions, and compared with previous methods. It is confirmed that the proposed method gives accurate and consistent width results regardless of pattern directions.

In this paper, we propose a new fast Hough transform to improve the processing time and line detection of Hough transform that is widely used in various vision systems. First, for the fast processing time, we reduce the number of features by using multi-statistical methods and also reduce the dimension of angle through six separate directions. Next, for improving the line detection, we effectively detect the lines of various directions by designing the line detection method which detects line in proportion to the number of features in six separate directions. The proposed method was evaluated with previous methods and obtained the excellent results. The processing time was improved in about 20% to 50% and line detection was performed better in various directions than conventional methods with experimental images.

Objectives: This paper reviews the integrated health promotion program in health center to analyse the problems and to provide the future directions aiming to health promotion block grants. Methods: The guidebook for the integrated health promotion program published by the Minister of Health and Welfare were reviewed in this study. And also the empirical results and theoretical considerations were used in making future directions. Results and Conclusion: This paper suggested four improvement directions as follows; first, the legal review committee is needed to approve when the central government change the way of health promotion program in health center. Second, the required programs should be replaced by an integrated outcom evaluation indicators. Third, the central government should strengthen the capacity of local government. And finally, visiting training should be conducted each health center.
