남녀 대학생들의 수직착지 시 성에 따른 무릎 외반각도의 차이 (Gender Differences of Knee Valgus Angle during Vertical Drop Landing in College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether gender differences existed in knee valgus kinematics in college students when performing a vertical drop landing. The hypothesis of this study was that females would demonstrate greater knee valgus motion. These differences in knee valgus motion may be indicative of decreased dynamic knee joint control in females. This study compared the initial knee valgus angle and maximum knee valgus angle at the instant of impact on vertical drop landings between healthy men and women. In this study, 60 participants (30 males, 30 females) dropped from a height of 43 cm. A digital camera and two-dimensional video motion analysis software were used to analyze the kinematic data. There was significant difference in the mean knee valgus angle at initial contact landing between the two groups (Mean=$7.88^{\circ}$, SD=$4.24^{\circ}$ in males, Mean=$12.93^{\circ}$, SD=$2.89^{\circ}$ in females). The range of knee valgus angle on landing (Mean=$3.25^{\circ}$, SD=$5.72^{\circ}$ in males, Mean=$11.44^{\circ}$, SD=$6.39^{\circ}$ in females) was differed significantly (p<.05). The maximal angle of knee valgus on landing (Mean=$10.91^{\circ}$, SD=$6.89^{\circ}$ in males, Mean=$24.25^{\circ}$, SD=$6.38^{\circ}$ in females) was also differed significantly (p<.05). The females landed with a larger range of knee valgus motion than the males and this might have increased the likelihood of a knee injury. The absence of dynamic knee joint stability may be responsible for increased rates of knee injury in females. No method for accurate and practical screening and identification of athletes at increased risk of ACL injury is currently available to target those individuals that would benefit from neuromuscular training before sports participation.

  • 움직임 추정과 움직임 보상기법은 연속한 비디오 프레임간의 시간적 중복성을 이용하여 동영상내에 존재하는 중복된 데이터를 제거하기 때문에 비디오 영상 압축에서 중요한 역할을 하지만 많은 계산량으로 인하여 실시간 응용 및 고해상도 응용에 많은 어려움을 가지고 있다. 만일 움직임 추정을 하기 전에 블록의 움직임을 예측할 수 있다면 이를 바탕으로 탐색영역에서 초기 탐색점 위치와 탐색 패턴을 결정할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 움직임의 높은 시간적 상관성을 이용하여 초기 탐색점 위치와 탐색 패턴을 결정함으로써 적응적으로 움직임을 추정하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 알고리즘을 다이아몬드 탐색 기법과 비교하였을 경우, 제안된 알고리즘은 움직임 보상 예측된 화질에 있어서 약 0.1∼0.5(dB)정도 성능을 향상시켰으며 움직임 벡터 추정의 속도에 있어서 약 50% 이상 높은 성능 향상을 보였다.

  • CALS/EC is about doing business electronically. It is based on the electronic processing and transmission of data, including text, sound and video. It encompasses many diverse activities including electronic trading of goods and services, online delivery of digital content, electronic fund transfers, electronic share trading, electronic bills of lading, commercial auctions, collaborative design and engineering, online sourcing, public procuremet, direct consumer marketing, and after-sales service. It involves both products(e.g. consumer goods, specialised medical equipment) and services(e.g. information services, financial and legal services); traditional activities(e.g. healthcare, education) and new activities (e.g. virtual malls). CALS/EC will be emerging to replace and substitute the role of the conventional market. By changing and eliminating some processes of the transactions, the electronic market and the electronic commerce will redistribute the power and hence the benefits of the market activities. Traditional way of doing business may enter into the new electronic market because the role and function of trust and established reputation will be reinforced in the electronic market. The CALS/EC through the Internet has been in the spotlight in the shopping behavior of the consumers. Accordingly Corporates are trying to adapt themselves to those rapidly changing environments being affected by the Internet. Among others, particularly to be noted is the CALS/EC between corporations and consumers whose potential growth can be considered very substantial. This report, focusing on the introduction of CALS/EC for the logistics of SMEs, will allow us to prepare more efficiently for the coming 21st Century. It is obvious that CALS/EC is fast becoming the useful way of exchanging not only information but products in business between firm-to-firm and firm-to-customer.

  • 물류의 흐름을 배제한 CALS/EC는 있을 수 없다. CALS/EC에서도 거래의 최종단계는 고객이 요구하는 상품 또는 서비스를 전달하는 것이기 때문이다. CALS/EC를 이용한 물류정보화가 물류 문제 해결에 도움을 줄 수 있고, 전자상거래의 활성화를 가로막는 물류 문제를 분석하기 위해 새로운 환경에서의 물류 요구의 변화를 분석하였다. 전자상거래와 물류정보화 활성화와 관련하여, 전자상거래 등 산업활동의 정보화 추이를 고려한 물류체계의 고도화, 산업전반의 물류정보화 촉진을 위한 법 제도의 개선, 물류산업전반의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 규제개혁 추진, 전자상거래 활성화률 위한 통관체제의 개선 등이 필요하다.

신발류 이지오더 Prototype 개발을 위한 청소년의 발의 형태 분류 (The Classification of Foot Types of Junior High School Boys for the Development of Shoes' Easy-Order Prototype)

  • The health of feet is connected with individual's health and affects a man's activity. Shoes need to be designed to protect feet and to absorb the impact of land. In order to choose suitable shoes for feet, the foot size and shape must be considered, so it is essential to grasp the exact size and shape of the foot. This study aims to present fundamental data on shoes' easy order prototype development for choosing shoes of good wearing comfort, by classifying feet size and shape junior high school boys in the early adolescent period. The subject were 234 Korean junior high school boys age from 14 to 16 years old. The subjects were directly measured anthropometrically and indirectly analyzed photographically. 6 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 79.42% of total variance. The factors characterizing foot girth and width, foot length, foot height, foot shape around the fifth toes, angle of foot breadth and foot shape around the first toes. 3 clusters as their foot shape were categorized using 6 factor scores by cluster analysis. Type 1 was characterized by long large foot with deformed first toe. Type 2 had smaller in foot girth, width and length than other types and with deformed fifth toe. Type 3 had average size and high foot shape. Shoes prototype which is to be developed later on will be able to generate 2D flattening in the foot sole form. Therefore, it would be a great support in producing and choosing appropriate shoes if forms are classified by subdividing foot form classification and extract a factor which shows only the foot sole shape.

효과적인 영상 압축을 위한 웨이브렛 기저들의 응용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Applications of Wavelet Bases for Efficient Image Compression)

  • 영상 압축은 데이터베이스에서 전송과 저장의 응용에 매우 중요한 분야이다. 비디오나 디지털 영상 응용에서 긴 탭의 필터를 사용하면 의미 있는 정도의 코딩이득은 얻지만 하드웨어의 복잡도를 증가시킨다. 우리는 한 쌍의 쌍직교 성질의 부 분할의 영상을 얻기 위하여 웨이브렛 변환을 사용한다. 첫째, 짧고 주요한 대칭 분석의 구현을 1차원 경우에 제시하였다. 둘째, 원래의 영상이 부대역 필터뱅크를 사용하여 다른 스케일로 분해되었다. 셋째, 본 논문에서 McClellan 변환을 사용하여 2차원의 쌍직교 필터를 얻는 기법을 제시하였다. 제시하는 웨이브렛 기저들이 영상압축에 사용되는 웨이브렛 변환에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있음을 보였다. 쌍직교 필터들의 성능 비교표로부터 웨이브렛 기저의 영상에 대한 응용에서는 우리는 실제적으로 ortho-normal 필터에 근사한 필터를 사용한다.

  • IP 멀티캐스트는 하나의 연결을 통해 데이터를 동시에 여러 컴퓨터로 보낼 수 있게 함으로서 비디오 스트림과 같은 대용량의 데이터 전송에 효율적으로 사용될 수 있다. 하지만, IP 멀티캐스트는 UDP에 기반한 best-effort 서비스로서, TCP에서 제공하는 신뢰 전송, 혼잡 제어 및 흐름 제어를 제공하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 또한 멀티캐스트 그룹 참가자는 어떠한 인증 과정이나 절차 없이 멀티캐스트 그룹에 참가/탈퇴가 가능하고, 하나의 서브넷 내에서는 브로드캐스트를 이용하기 때문에, 데이터의 기밀을 유지하기가 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는, 일-대-다 멀티캐스트 응용에 적합한 흐름 제어, 키 관리 기법을 제공하는 신뢰전송 프로토콜인 TRDMP를 제안한다.

참조점을 이용한 응시점 추출에 관한 연구 (A Study for Detecting a Gazing Point Based on Reference Points)

  • The information of eye movement is used in various fields such as psychology, ophthalmology, physiology, rehabilitation medicine, web design, HMI(human-machine interface), and so on. Various devices to detect the eye movement have been developed but they are too expensive. The general methods of eye movement tracking are EOG(electro-oculograph), Purkinje image tracker, scleral search coil technique, and video-oculograph(VOG). The purpose of this study is to embody the algorithm which tracks the location of the gazing point at a pupil. Two kinds of location data were compared to track the gazing point. One is the reference points(infrared LEDs) which is effected from the globe. Another is the center point of the pupil which is gained with a CCD camera. The reference point was captured with the CCD camera and infrared lights which were not recognized by human eyes. Both of images which were thrown and were not thrown an infrared light on the globe were captured and saved. The reflected reference points were detected with the brightness difference between the two saved images. In conclusion, the circumcenter theory of a triangle was used to look for the center of the pupil. The location of the gazing point was relatively indicated with the each center of the pupil and the reference point.

  • 본 연구에서는 한국 전통예술 중 하나인 진도 북춤을 다양한 인공지능 기술을 이용하여 디지털 아트로 재창조하는 과정을 제안하였다. 인공지능 언어 분석 기술을 통해 정량화된 관객들의 감정 데이터는 프로젝션 맵핑 공연에서 다양한 오브젝트 형태로 개입하여 큰 스토리에 변화를 주지 않는 선에서 영향을 준다. 대부분의 인터렉티브 아트들이 공연자와 영상 간의 소통을 표현한 것이라면, 본 공연은 인공지능 감정분석 기술을 중심으로 관객이 작품과 직접 소통할 수 있는 새로운 형태의 반응형 공연이 된다. 이는 한국 전통예술에서만 흔히 나타나는 관객이 공연에 직간접적으로 개입하여 영향을 끼치는 퍼포먼스인 '추임새'에서 시작된다. 공연자의 '프롤로그'에 담긴 감정 정보를 기반으로 관객의 감정 정보와 결합하여, 공연에 쓰이는 이미지와 파티클의 형태로 변환함으로서 공연에 관객이 간접적으로 참여하고 변화를 줄 수 있는 형태가 된다.

Reproduction based Multi-Contents Distribution Platform

  • As the use of smart devices is being increased rapidly by the development of internet and IT technology, the contents production and utilization rate are showing higher increase, too. In addition, the type of contents also shows very diverse forms such as education, game, video, UCC, etc. In the meantime, the contents are reproduced in diverse forms by reprocessing the original contents, and they are being serviced through the contents service platform. Therefore, the platform to make the contents reprocessing easy and fast is needed. As the diverse contents distribution channels such as YouTube, SNS, App Service, etc, easier contents distribution platform is needed, and the development of the relevant area is expected. In addition, as the selective consumption of the contents having easy accessibility through diverse smart devices is distinguished, the demand for the platform and service that can identify the contents consumption propensity by individual is being increased. Therefore, in this study, to vitalize the online contents distribution, the contents reproduction and publishing platform, was designed and materialized, which can reproduce and distribute the contents based on the real-time contents editing technology in URL unit and the consumer propensity analysis technology using the data management-based broadcasting contents distribution metadata technology and the edited image contents streaming technology. In addition, in the results of comparing with other platforms through the experiment, the performance superiority of the suggested platform was verified. If the suggested platform is applied to the areas of education, broadcasting, press, etc, the multi-media contents can be reproduced and distributed easily, through which the vitalization of contents-related industry is expected.
