  • Unlike physical products, the distribution of digital content has involved many participants in all distribution phases from providers to consumers. The longer the distribution channel for services is, or the more participants that take part in it, the more the added value of the content increases. Consequently, the customer usefulness has been maximized. In order to enhance the values of digital content, it is utterly urgent to implement a service infrastructure that could be shared by all participants along the distribution path. Digital content is distributed from a creator to a final user through complex value chain stages. All the participants along the value chain exchange information about copyrights, marketing, and contents themselves, through the distribution channel. Recently, the more the distributed Information Technology environment has been widely used, the more the necessity of an identifier for digital content has been increased. In this paper, we examine the current status of the Korean distribution market of digital content, identify necessary distribution services of digital content, and establish a systematic roadmap to implement these services.

  • The object of this article is to assess the factors affecting the behavioral intention of young retail customers to use digital banking services in Vietnam. In this article, multivariate data analysis techniques including Cronbach's Alpha, Exploratory factor analysis (EFA), Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), Structure equation model (SEM), and Bootstrapping are used to analyze the data collected from 525 young respondents under the age of 35 who are using or having opportunities to experience digital banking services. The people taking part in the survey were mainly University students with incomes of most of them under VND 5 million. The result from the analysis illustrates that (1) perceived ease of use positively affects intention to use, (2) social influence positively impacts intention to use, and (3) customer support has a positive impact on the intention of young people to use digital banking services. While technology self-efficacy, convenience, and perceived security were found to have an impact on intention to use services in former studies, the influences of these factors on intention to use digital banking services are found insignificant in this research. From these results, the author provides implications for commercial banks to increase the intention to use digital banking of young people in Vietnam.

The purpose of this research is to investigate how the digital shadow work type changes over time. This research adopted a qualitative research method for location-based service "help application" users and examined the change in perception from the app service acceptance stage to the app service continuous use stage with two-times interviews of ten users by a longitudinal research design. This study conducted a longitudinal analysis focusing on how digital shadow work occurs in the application subscription process, exploring phenomenologically how the type changes throughout the process over time.

  • Reference services have taken a central place in library and information services. But current digital libraries focus more on access to digital information, and hardly lay emphasis on the service aspects. This paper looks at the current state of research in reference services in digital libraries. It first analyses some representative definitions of digital reference services. It then provides a brief overview of the various online reference and information services currently available on the Web. The paper also reviews the types of the digital reference service in major 'Aska' service sites. Finally, the paper proposes new digital reference service model that specifically bases on the sharing of the human and information.
