A Review on Needs and Related Law of Authorized Electronic Data Depot for the Diffusion in the Use of Electronic Document (전자문서 이용확산을 위한 공인 전자문서보관소의 도입 필요성과 입법내용)

  • There are increasing needs for an individual or enterprise to interchange documents electronically through communication network to enhance the efficiency of business, owing to rapid process of transactions. But e-commerce encounters the problems regarding the handling the electronic documents, that is to say, deposit and proof of the electronic documents. This paper deals with Authorized Electronic Data Depot as an integrated system for processing, relaying and proving documents that. Authorized Electronic Data Depot operates as e-enabler in exchanging documents in trust among administrative agencies and a comprehensive government directory, digital government seal certification system and DNS system. Authorized Electronic Data Depot leads public and private sectors to save the paper-related costs. But the regulations concerning an authorized electronic data depot is introduced in the course of revision of Electronic Transactions Act. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some guidelines in legalizing the authorized electronic data depot.

Recent trends of smart applications and implications for digital policy (스마트 어플리케이션 동향과 디지털 정책 시사점)

  • In this paper, we review recently emerging smart applications, and analyzed policy implications in light of digital convergence perspective. While extant literatures on smart applications mainly dealt with consumer behaviors based in technology acceptance model or innovation adoption, the research on digital management policy is rather limited. We intend to fill this research gap. As such, we first organize two categories of smart work and smart commerce, and investigate the representative service models, four service models were reviewed for each category respectively. Next, the three policy related constructs are extracted, which are QoL(Quality of Life), public impacts in both the positive and negative ways. Finally, empirical analysis following the Delphi principle was conducted to investigate the policy implications. The results offer useful insights for the further research in digital convergence related policy areas.

  • Due to development of internet and mobile communication, M-commerce applications that utilize the digital signature are widely used these days. The mobile environment is weaker than the wired internet environment. Thus, it is highly required to systematically analyze the effect of processing the digital document and the digital signature algorithm, and low bandwidth of the mobile network on the system performance. In this paper, we have constructed the mobile contract system which has the XML based digital contract and the RSA signature algorithm as the test system. And we have derived the performance parameters and then measured in detail the runtime performance of the mobile digital signature system with the Compaq iPAQ 3850 PDA and CDMA 2000 1x mobile network.

  • Talking about reliability of I-commerce, the security services such as data integrity and non-repudiation are the most crucial elements. This thesis implemented the real estate contract digital signature system that makes this real estate E-commerce Possible. The technical background used in this thesis for the security services is XML (extensible Markup Language) signature technique, which is a signature technique that applies XML on the existing digital signature algorithm. The advantage of using XML signature technique is that it is very efficient since signing for the partial data is possible, and it is easy to apply to the XML-based I-commerce system which is most commonly used.

  • This paper introduces efficient rule-based semantic search techniques to ontology-based knowledge commerce services. Primarily, the search techniques presented in this paper define rules of reasoning that are required for users to search using the concept of ontology, multiple characteristics, relations among concepts and data type. In addition, based on the defined rules, the rule-based reasoning techniques search ontology for knowledge commerce services. This paper explains the conversion rules of query which convert user's query language into semantic search words, and transitivity rules which enable users to search related tags, knowledge products and users. Rule-based sematic search techniques are also presented; these techniques comprise knowledge search modules that search ontology using validity examination of queries, query conversion modules for standardization and expansion of search words and rule-based reasoning. The techniques described in this paper can be applied to sematic knowledge search systems using tags, since transitivity reasoning, which uses tags, knowledge products, and relations among people, is possible. In addition, as related users can be searched using related tags, the techniques can also be employed to establish collaboration models or semantic communities.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of e - commerce technology characteristics and personal values on purchasing behavior by information security importance. The results of the empirical study that examined the university students in 2006 and 2016 are as follows. First, personal value is centered on personal values, such as self - esteem and self - esteem in 2006. In 2016, however, personal values such as self - fulfillment and personal relationship with others are important. Transactional ease and product service serve as the main value of the fun and pleasure of life, but the sense of accomplishment as the core value of information protection. Second, the technical characteristics of e-commerce are as follows. In terms of ease of transaction and product service, technology characteristics are simplified and directly effected over time. On the other hand, information protection works very closely with individual value, There was a strong tendency to enjoy benefits. Especially in 2006, if you want to enjoy transactional convenience through transaction information security or benefit from product service, it has been changed to recognize the importance of information security through payment in 2016.

  • Electronic commerce includes the tasks that support the buying and selling of goods and services, and interactions among those tasks. Electronic commerce enables companies to close stores, reduce inventory requirements, and distribute products over the internet. Electronic commerce can simplify communication and change relationships The expanding global e-marketplace has triggered an evolution with powerful implications. The introduction of interactive media and the online environment has made real-time, customized one-to-one advertising, marketing and commerce possible. I-marketing is the most rapidly growing channel being explored today. Users of this expanding medium include a range of service providers, publishers, marketers of music, s/w, other products that cross an increasing number of industry lines. Thus, the opportunities for e-business marketing strategy, and new businesses based on interactivity and sophisticated database technology are vast. This study explores the e-business marketing strategy of digital age. Strategic e-marketing can harness the power of today's technology to propel a company of any size farther into the worldwide market than ay any other time in history, increasing potential profits and productivity.

Development of Security Service for Mobile Internet Banking Using Personal Digital Assistants

  • The fusion of Internet technology and applications with wireless communication provides a new business model and promises to extend the possibilities of commerce to what is popularly called mobile commerce, or m-commerce. In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of security service for mobile Internet banking on Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs). Banking Server and Authentication Server were developed to simulate banking business and to support certificate management of authorized clients, respectively. To increase security, we took hybrid approach in implementation: symmetric block encryption and public-key encryption. Hash function and random number generation were exploited to generate a secret key. The data regarding banking service were encrypted with symmetric block encryption, RC4, and the random number sequence was done with public-key encryption. PDAs communicate through IEEE 802.IIb wireless LAN (Local Area Network) to access banking service. Several banking services and graphic user interfaces, which emulatedthe services of real bank, were developed to verity the working of each security service in PDA, the Banking Server, and the Authentication Server.

  • The social commerce is an innovative and emerging transaction. It is the result of combination with transaction and social media technology. This study analyzes Korean college students' social commerce behavior through extending technology acceptance model(TAM) with social influence(SI). We confirmed all proposed hypotheses are significant and supported by the given data through PLS path modeling method with SmartPLS. It indicates that SI is an important factor influencing intention to use, so SI should be consider for theorists to enhance explanation and prediction of TAM and for practitioners to earn higher performances as well. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions for future studies are discussed.
