  • In the airport, digital signage is used to provide the flight-related information for the passengers. Because the current digital signage is based on wired networking or storage medium, its use is limited in terms of the location and the usage of the digital signage. In order to overcome these limitation, we present a WiBro-based digital signage for the wireless broadband networking and the mobility of the digital signage. We perform comparative experiments with the WiBro-based digital signage and WLAN-based digital signage under various locations, datarate, advertisement contents. The experimental results showed that the WiBro-based digital signage is preferred when the mobility is required, while the WLAN-based digital signage has advantage in datarate.

  • In this paper, we proposed an efficient digital authentication service system for the vehicle data collected from digital tachograph. In domestic, There is no method available to verify that information has not been forged and reliable information for collected vehicle data. The proposed method in this paper can prove transmitted vehicle data that have not been forged using the signature value. The signature value of digital authentication is produced with the digital signature generation key after obtaining the hash value of vehicle data. It is achieved through checking the stored hash value and the hash value match that is obtained with the digital signature verification key from the digital signature value. We confirmed the proposed system can ensure reliability of vehicle data through the system implementation and experiment.

  • The Internet and digital devices have become an important part of life among the youth (age 17-24) of today. During the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, Internet use in youth increased by 19.3%, with an average usage of 11.6 hours per day. Youths gain a lot of opportunities from the Internet, but, it also exposes them to various risks. Therefore, there is a need for measures to make the Internet a safe place for youth, in a balanced way that addresses opportunities alongside risks, through digital literacy. It is expected that through digital literacy, youths can take advantage of online opportunities, without being subjected to any dangers. This study aims to examine the relationship between the digital literacy, online opportunities, and online risks of young people, while at the same time examining the influence of digital literacy on those online risks and opportunities. This study employed the quantitative study approach (explanatory study). Cross-sectional surveys and structured questionnaires were used for data collection. The results showed that youth's (age 17-24) monthly expenses, age, and education levels were important factors for digital literacy and online opportunity; also, the digital literacy variable plays an important role and affects online risk and opportunity positively. Digital literacy has a greater influence on online opportunities than it has on online risks. As youths spend more time online, they become more digitally literate, which can enable them to benefit more from new technology. Unfortunately, those with greater digital literacy cannot find a way to avoid risks while seeking opportunities.

  • Legislative approaches to regulating the digital sex industry are increasingly being debated at the international and national levels. There is a trend showing an increased interest in the decriminalization of sex work. At the same time, in many countries, activities related to digital prostitution remain criminalized. In this regard, it is important to analyze the international legal experience of the criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution, as well as to pay attention to the key problematic issues that arise during the criminalization and decriminalization of such an issue. The object of the study is the international experience of criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution. The subject of the study is social relations that arise, change, and cease during the criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution. The research methodology consists of such methods as philosophical, logical, special-legal, system analysis methods, and formal-dogmatic methods. Research results. As a result of the study of the international legal experience of criminalization and decriminalization of digital prostitution, it was concluded that the criminalization and/or decriminalization of digital prostitution is treated differently in different countries. Workers in this industry advocate decriminalization, not legalization, because decriminalization puts power directly in the hands of sex workers and creates no legal barriers. Countries that have decriminalized digital prostitution believe that sex work is real work and should be treated respectfully, and banning resources such as OnlyFans is not in favor of such workers. Regarding positions on the criminalization of prostitution, countries use different models of such criminalization, including the model of legalization of digital prostitution, which, on the one hand, allows prostitution, but establishes criminal liability for deviations from the rules established by the state.

  • As digital evidence becomes more important in criminal investigations, disputes are increasing in court. As media diversifies and the scope of analysis expands, the level of expertise in digital forensics is also increasing. However, no competency model has been developed to define the capabilities of digital evidence examiners or to judge their expertise. There have been some studies that have derived the capabilities necessary for digital evidence examiner, but they are still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, 25 competency evaluation factors in a total of 9 competency groups were defined using methodologies such as expert FGI and Delphi survey. Specifically, it was defined as Digital Forensics Theory, Digital Evidence Collection&Management, Disk Forensics, Mobile Forensics, Video Forensics, infringement forensics, DB Forensics, Embedded(IoT) Forensics, and Cloud Forensics. The digital evidence examiner competency model is expected to be used in various fields such as recruitment, education and training, and performance evaluation in the future.
